“Nice hotel in a central location close to the Salt Palace”

I had two nights at this property in connection with the FanX convention. I got a pretty good deal on the rate through FanX, and the hotel is just a very short walk to the Salt Palace convention center, so very convenient. It's also close to several restaurants in the area, including a lot of steak houses (one of which is part of the hotel itself). My room and bathroom was quite spacious, but I didn't have that much of a view from the window. Otherwise I liked the layout of the room. There was also a large TV in the room and good WiFi. I don't think there's a bar in the hotel, aside from a small improvised one as part of the reception area. There's also a small store where you can get snacks and drinks. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, with a nice selection. The hotel itself seems a bit dated, in terms of wear and tear and the interior design, style and furnishings. But overall a good stay, in a convenient location, and for a good price.

“Thanks for being Lifetime Diamond - Now fork over $100 to checkout at 2 PM!”

Lifetime Diamond, needed a 2 PM checkout. Manager (Katie) said, "Sure you can have your checkout extended by 2 hours... for $100!" I said, "Well, I'm diamond so I thought if late checkout was available, diamond gets it. And clearly, it's available." She said, "yes, it is available.. for $100." Thanks for the total lack of service, Katie! Therefore, I made alternate plans. Putting 2 stars versus 1 because the front office supervisor apologized profusely the next day and happily offered a 2 PM checkout, so full credit to Kimberly. However, I had already made alternate plans based on the lack of customer service Katie.

“Very Spacious, Comfortable and Great Location”

This room is very spacious and has every comfort one could want for a great and lengthy stay. It’s perfect for sharing with another person, with a large closet with plenty of wood hangers, a dresser, large desk, plenty of very large, thick towels, sufficient towel hooks and bars and plenty of counter space in the bathroom. There are 2 very comfortable queen beds and a chaise longue and mini fridge/bar. I’ve been traveling with a friend in Europe where almost no rooms are large enough for 2 people and their luggage so this room is luxurious to me. In addition, the lobby is very nice and it is well located.
