The restaurant did well with all items besides the burgers and steaks (not cooked to the requested temp). The hotel is within walking distance of a Trader Joe’s and other restaurants. . The best part of the hotel was Simone and the lobby bar. Even though the bar would be set to close at 10, most of us rushed back nightly to grab food and drinks with Simone. She was funny, sweet and accommodating. She made the best Peach Side Car. Everyone was sad on Simone’s off day, but her co-worker Z did a great job. When I travel back to DC, I’m definitely stopping by to see Simone!

Melrose is a fine hotel with a nice staff

Nice staff and room - equipped with fridge and coffeemaker. We could leave our luggage some hours before check in and after check out, which was very helpful to enable us do sightseeing.
Mohammed Vale Supervisor was very helpful arranging transport from the hotel to the airport.

I am well pleased with the excellent service that we received while staying at Melrose food was excellent my Suite was amazing. Breakfast was awesome every morning thanks to the kitchen and all staff member.
