Memorable weekend at the hotel with my family.A huge thank you to Mr Sunny Aundoo the resident manager.When we ran into a minor issue concerning our stay Mr Aundoo handled it immediately and with such professionalism.It's rare to see a manager so involved and genuinely concerned with guests satisfaction.Their leadership clearly reflects in the high level of service across the entire hotel.It's the personal attention to detail that sets this hotel apart.We highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back again. To start, I had a really good time at Sunrise Attitude Hotel. Our holiday began with a small challenge with Deal.mu, but the hotel team made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. They truly made us feel like valued guests. The room was fantastic—comfortable, clean, and well prepared. At reception, Delphine, Avinesh, Lush, Yash, and Vish were amazing. A special mention to Avinesh, who really stood out for his service and kindness. The entertainment team was also great—Mathieu, Joanie, Ryan and Sanjana (especially during aqua gym), and Isaie made sure there was always something fun happening. You’ll never get bored with them, especially during the social activities. At the spa, Asha was excellent. My mom had a massage with Megha, who is truly one of the best therapists. The spa manager was also very welcoming and professional. The food was brilliant, they definitely deserve 5 stars. Ali in the kitchen was outstanding, along with the sous chef, and a special mention to the lady who prepares omlettes at breakfast every morning, Mrs SHEENA In F&B, Neelum and Don at the bar were very friendly and provided great service. We had a great experience at Sunrise Attitude Hotel. Emmanuel gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay even more enjoyable. There was a wide selection of delicious cocktails to tryamd varieties of dishes and dessert which we really appreciated. The activities were fun and well-organized thanks to Mathieu and others, the animation artist, who kept everything lively and entertaining. The first thing you will notice about Mauritius apart from how beautiful it is, is how clean it is, its so nice to see a country where the people are proud of what they have got, the main reason is zero or very little umemployment, if you want to eat you work, no benifits here. So to our resort Sunrise Attitude, not massive but has just about everything you need. The standard rooms are basic but cover all your needs less for a TV in the room for eco reasons, now we dont go on holiday to watch TV but do like to put on BBC World news when we are getting ready in the morning and evening, even if its just to ses what Trump was dreaming about last night. The two pools are total opposites, one has all the activities in, Aqua fitness, water polo and music, the other is perfect for relaxation, then again theres my wife's prefered option, the beach, white course sand and clear waters, contarary to what the resorts tell you about having a private beach, all beaches in Mauritius are public, but they are well behaved and do not use the resort sun beds on the beach. The food, well in theroy you have five places to eat, the buffet best described as bland, boring and repetitive. Maurition street food, good for lunch time and mid afternoon snacks, then you have the 3 al a cart, the Kot Nou a Maurition food outlet served Tapas style, atmospher great, presenttion great, food bland, one dish was called beef vindaloo, I thought at last something with a spicy kick, I've had Kormas with more kick. The Papaya is the place to go for lunch time al a cart, pizza, burgers, chips and sandwiches, nice but nothing special. The Market is your lunch buffet. In the same location in the evening it becomes the Social House al a cart, a tapas style seervice which was had excellent menu choice and was very tasty, so the winner by far in our opinion The standard of service in all bars and food areas is very hit and miss, go early to any of the al a cart for best service otherwise it can be 20 minutes or more from seating you and getting a glass of water before they come back to take your order. Service at the bars is no better, you place your order and they say I will bring it to you, but what you do not realise at the start is that they are also doing all the orders for the drinks in the food areas, the pool areas and bars, eventually you get your drinks and generally they are what you have ordered, I don't blame the staff, they all work very hard and long hours (16 a day, 1 day off in 10), simple they just need more staff. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Attitude and as we believe the world is a big place with far too many places to visit we only visit once to any island. Now approaching our 50th anniversary and taking 2 or 3 holidays a year we have seen most of the world and would place Mauritius in the top 10 of places visited so far.
