We had the absolute best experience staying in a beautiful Beach Villa at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi! This is the kind of hospitality that each and every guest should experience. We (a couple with our 12-year-old daughter) visited the Maldives in the second week of May 2026, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. We departed from Mumbai in the morning and reached Malé around 1 PM. The jetty is conveniently located just about 10 minutes from the airport, where a resort executive was already waiting to receive us. We opted for the speedboat transfer (USD 175 per person, return), which took approximately 30 minutes. The ride was smooth and comfortable, setting the tone for the vacation ahead. Upon arrival at Adaaran Hudhuran Fushi, we were warmly welcomed by Uresh from the hotel administration team, who ensured a seamless check-in and made us feel instantly at home. We were promptly escorted to our room to freshen up. Sunset Beach Villa Experience :- We spent our first two nights in a Sunset Beach Villa, which was spacious, well-maintained, and located right by the beach. The room offered a comfortable bed, ample space, and a clean, well-equipped bathroom—perfect for a relaxing stay. Soon after settling in, we headed to Lohis Garden Restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious pizzas along with cocktails and mocktails. The Lohis area is popular among surfers, but since the season hadn’t fully picked up, it was pleasantly calm with a beautiful sea-facing ambiance. A major plus was the all-inclusive package, which covered food and selected beverages. We also collected complimentary snorkeling gear from the water sports center, valid for the entire stay. To get familiar with the island, we took a leisurely walk around it. The island is quite expansive, so this itself felt like a refreshing activity. In the evening, we dined at Banyan Restaurant, which offered an extensive buffet spread including Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines, along with salads, desserts, juices, ice creams, and live counters. The quality and variety were impressive. Activities & Family Time The next morning started with another lavish breakfast at Banyan. Later, we experienced our first snorkeling session just outside our villa. The shallow waters made it safe and enjoyable—especially for our daughter, who absolutely loved it. Post-lunch, we relaxed by the pool with drinks, while our daughter participated in art activities. We also enjoyed some indoor games like table tennis and pool, making it a perfect mix of relaxation and family bonding. Ocean Villa – The Highlight On the third day, we upgraded to an Ocean Villa, thanks to last-minute assistance from Uresh—and this turned out to be the best decision of our trip. The Ocean Villa experience is simply unmissable. From the moment we stepped in, we were awestruck by the stunning views, serene ambiance, and elevated hospitality. Each villa comes with a dedicated butler, and Mathu ensured our stay was seamless—from buggy transfers to attending to every small need. This section of the resort is exclusive and offers a much more private, premium experience—truly a world apart. The biggest highlight was direct access to the reef for snorkeling. The marine life here is spectacular. At night, you can even spot sharks, stingrays, and numerous fish swimming right below your villa—an unforgettable experience. Dining at the Sunset Restaurant, exclusive to Ocean Villa guests, added another layer of luxury with its unique vibe and exceptional service. Additional Experiences We also enjoyed: -Delicious burgers, fries, and drinks at the Beach Grill Café -A sunset dolphin cruise, which was delightful -Kayaking near our villa Evenings were equally enjoyable, with soulful live music performances at Hiyala Restaurant adding to the relaxed island vibe. Final Thoughts Overall, our stay was filled with relaxation, adventure, and outstanding hospitality. A special mention to Uresh and Mathu for going above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. I would highly recommend Adaaran Hudhuran Fushi to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable vacation in the Maldives.
