We recently stayed at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi. We stayed for six nights in March 2026 in an ocean villa on an all inclusive package. The service provided by our butler Praveen was excellent from the moment we arrived until our departure. He was always polite and very responsive to any request we made, particularly ferrying us to the restaurant in the evening. He was always passing on his knowledge of things on the island. Nothing was ever a problem for Praveen.
The resort itself is beautiful with lovely white sand beaches, beautiful clear water and a very relaxing vibe. All the staff across the island were warm, welcoming and always ready to help.
Our Ocean Villa was very clean and spacious and had all we needed. Hassaan, our room boy, was a really friendly and happy person and did a great job cleaning and tidying our room twice a day. He also did some lovely clever bed decorations using palm leaves and other materials from the island. He also made us a towel monkey one night. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and artistic talent very much - a very nice touch.
The snorkelling off our deck was nothing short of amazing. We saw so many beautiful fish, reef and grey nurse sharks, eels and stingrays right under our villa. We snorkelled at least twice every day. We also went on two boat trips to the house reef where we saw more beautiful fish.
The food was wonderful, so much variety. We ate dinner at the Sunset Restaurant every night and had lunch at the Beach Grill and Pizza place which were both fantastic.
I have wanted to go to the Maldives for many years and am happy to say the experience was all I'd ever dreamed of. Now I can't wait to go back.

This was a fantastic first trip to the Maldives. Thushara, our butler, took wonderful care of us, was prompt to pick us up and taught us much about the island. The included drinks and food are great, and rooms clean and well maintained. Snorkeling off the room revealed lots of marine wildlife. All in all, the perfect end to our trip.
