Adaaran stole our heart

It was such a wonderful experience at Adaaran Resorts. We spent four days and three nights there, and that made our honeymoon trip memorable. The entire service, cleanliness, food, and hospitality were excellent. In particular, our butler, Mr. Thushara, was a dedicated and kind person throughout our stay.

Super relaxing holiday.

Upgraded to a sunset water villa and had the most amazing time. Our butler. Thushara, was so thoughtful and looked after us really well. He made my birthday really special too. The food was good with lots of variety and themed evenings. We snorkelled and saw some amazing fishes and sharks. A truly relaxing holiday.

Unforgettable experience

Our recent stay was really very enjoyable and a source of wonderful memories, all because of the excellent people working there! Right from the start, our welcome was in the hands of Arpita, who proved to be really kind and welcoming. She was our principal point of contact during our stay in the Beach Villa, dealing with all our requests in an exemplary manner. With our subsequent transfer to the Water Villa, our liaison officer changed to Dilan, who is equally outstanding. At all times, he would never hesitate if we had a query or need, and he is also a great caddy driver, very swift in getting us wherever we need to go. And if he was not available, he would immediately point us in the direction of another of his colleagues, all of whom were very kind, efficient, and helpful. One other very pleasing aspect was that Dilan can speak Italian, which meant we took turns speaking English and chatting in Italian. Dilan also provided us with invaluable advice on where to get a better view of the sharks and other fascinating sea life from the walkway of our water villa, and for this, we will always be very grateful. The housekeeping in both the Beach Villa and the Water Villa was very good. The rooms were always spotlessly cleaned and well maintained. The culinary experience was another memorable part of our stay in the hotel. Everything was just fabulous at both the Banyan Restaurant and the Sunset Restaurant, which we visited a number of times during our stay in the Water Villa. The staff were very skilled, with excellent manners and a constant presence with a smile to deliver our refreshments and remove our dishes. I was very pleased with a special treatment offered to me in honor of my birthday, where they provided a sweet with wishes and the staff sang for us around our table. The service offered at different bars dotted across the island was also excellent. At Lohis Wave, we relished pizzas and enjoyed friendly conversations with the staff while taking in the beauty of the waves. The Beach Grill offered excellent snacks, and the Tiki Bar too performed equally well. The other place where we visited with our cocktails or other refreshments in mind would be at the Hiyala Bar. Here, we enjoyed great cocktails and beverages, complete with music performances from a live duo band and DJs, all of whom were very talented. Here, we were often served by Muizz. He took care of us always with a smile on his face and was very professional at the same time. In terms of activities, it would not be complete without highlighting the entertainment team, especially Jeewa and Madusanka, who always brightened our day with their amicability and fun attitude. I am not really into sports, but my daughter and my partner really enjoyed playing a game of beach volleyball with them. Lastly but not least, a special mention of appreciation goes to all of the staff at the Water Sports Center. They took us on an adventure where we got to swim with sharks and stingrays, which was an experience second to none. They were all very professional, kind, and reassuring. What else can I write? Nature in all its beauty, amazing animals (juvenile sharks and dolphins right in front of the Water Villa walkway!), and a mesmerizing atmosphere in general. Well, it all blended beautifully, but it is the staff of Adaaran Select Maldives that make this paradise on Earth an unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone, you were all fantastic! Relaxing December break in the sun.

We went to the Maldives as a pre Christmas/Birthday holiday in the sun. Having just spent a few hectic days in Abu Dhabi at the Grand Prix this was a great way to relax. We had an over water sea villa which was great. We went snorkelling from our private deck and saw tropical fish, sharks and rays. The food was at a buffet restaurant but it changed theme every night and the quality was excellent. We had a butler called Thushara who couldn’t do enough to help, he was always available on the phone and did everything we asked, driving us to dinner in his golf cart and helping sort a special birthday cake for my wife. Overall a really enjoyable Holiday. Read less

Great all inclusive resort in The Maldives

A return to The Maldives after 17 years and this new - to us - resort didn’t disappoint. We had a Deluxe Beachfront Villa and found the whole experience wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable. We did one included trip (dolphin viewing and sadly they didn’t come out to play) and two paid for dinners in what was otherwise an all inclusive holiday. The two dinners (Barefoot Island seafood and Shark view) were great. Difficult to pick highlights in such a lovely experience, but the Banyan restaurant is filled with the most lovely helpful staff and a truly great and ever changing variety of delicious food. The manager KK is a very special leader of this big restaurant and does an amazing job - whilst being super friendly and approachable. We would also single out Irusham Ibrahim who looked after our table and “the egg chef” who smiles non stop whist controlling 4 pans and a constant stream of customers. Great room cleaning staff and front desk as well. All in all, highly recommended! Read less
