We had and lovely honeymoon at this Resort and we met some lovely people. the whole experience was so enjoyable and the perfect honeymoon destination after a busy wedding week. We particularly enjoyed the beach Grill where we would run out into the water and then sit at the bar and have our favourite veggie burger. This is where we met Dinesh and Suringa who were amazing at making us feel welcome and offering us everything we needed. They were so fun and so attentive to our needs. This was our second visit to this beautiful Island, what am amazing place. this time instead of just the two of us we were joined by mum and her friend. Due to the age of my mum we contacted the resort in advance to arrange transportation from the arrival boat to the reception, this was not only delivered but exceeded as our Butler, Praveen & Sathees were awaiting our arrival, they had arranged for a trip around the resort/island to give mum her baring's and then took us directly to the ocean villa, what a wonderful way to be greeted. Massive thanks to Sathees for everything he arranged in advance of our arrival, not just delivering but exceeding all expectations and the quick catch up chats through out to ensure everything was going well. I cannot thank Praveen enough for looking after us so well, the service, commentary/information updates and friendly way you looked after us was amazing and you truly made the start of the holiday something very special. Unfortunately Praveen had to leave us after several days and return home, we all hope he is on the mend and will be back next year. Mathu then stepped in as our butler and continued the great service, we really enjoyed getting to see behind the scenes a bit (banana ripening room), it was lovely to see the amazing relationship he build with mum to ensure she was alright at all times, a heart felt thanks from me for that. Our room was kept spotless with several cleaning visits per day, new towels etc all the time, amazing to have the balloons and flowers on the bed for Michelle's birthday, thank you Hussain. The food was top class each day, fresh, tasty and varied, you will never get bored! All the staff in the 2 main restaurants were amazing, friendly and nothing was every to much, extra special shout out to Ishan your warmth and constant smile made every day extra special. For the days we wanted a light bite the Beach grill and Surf area offer amazing light bites and some of the best pizza's ever, also of course a large range of drinks that just keep flowing, again always made to feel welcome My favourite area is the main bar and pool area it is a hive of activity, with great entertainment each night but never over crowded with swift and friendly service from all of the team, plenty of cocktails and drinks to choose from, served swiftly with a smile, massive thanks to Anjal, Bivas, & Aihan for keeping the cold beers and whisky's flowing! This is backed up by great table service from Khusbu & Muizzu, who always kept glass full and made time to chat and check in that everyone was happy and informed of todays activities. A very special shout out goes to Suranga, we would return to the resort to just spend time with you, you are one of the kindest people I have ever met, this comes through with all your interactions with all guests, you constantly made us feel welcome and the way you went out of your way to help Mum was amazing. You are constantly busy, leading by example & setting the high standards that are set in the bar areas, we cannot thank you enough for your warmth, kindness and making our stay extra special. Pool area is spotless and fresh towels are quickly rushed to you on arrival the pool area is kept to a very high standard, feels like sitting in paradise. To top off an amazing holiday Suranga, Sathees and several of the team took the time to come to the boat dock to wave is off, this brought a tear to all our eyes, thank you so very much. Overall this entire island/resort is a slice of paradise, with some of the best service I have ever received on any holiday. This resort is spotless, the couple of little shops have everything you need for an emergency, regardless of a persons job you are greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. We will all be back next year as this island/resort has now become our go to destination, we have never felt to welcome treated so well and left a holiday feeling so well rested.
