The hotel

You could be forgiven for thinking the Apsara is only for water babies, with its beachfront setting, infinity swimming pool, villa pool, two kids' pools, pool villa upgrades, water slide and of course, the obligatory Jacuzzi. There’s the Thai cookery classes, Thai boxing, spa treatments, bike rental and kayaking to name but a few!

I stayed at Apsara for 7 nights and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was really really good, staff always very friendly, very clean rooms and great facilities. I will come back for sure.

We had such an amazing stay at this resort and honestly did not want to leave. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The hotel itself is spacious, very clean, and one thing we especially appreciated was how the grounds were cleaned every single morning after the evening winds — the attention to detail here is truly impressive. The food was absolutely delicious throughout our stay. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor, but the breakfast omelette station deserves a special mention. Being able to choose your own ingredients while the chef prepares it fresh right in front of you exactly how you want it was such a lovely touch every morning. The fruit was always incredibly fresh, juicy, and sweet as well. One of the things that made this place feel extra special was the nature surrounding the resort. There are so many beautiful little creatures peacefully living around the property — colorful lizards, squirrels, birds, tiny crabs, large blue-green crabs, and hermit crabs of all sizes running along the beach. It makes the whole place feel alive, natural, and relaxing in the best possible way. The main pool is stunning. Swimming there feels almost like being in the ocean itself because the infinity pool is located right beside the beach, and during high tide the sea comes incredibly close. The atmosphere is simply magical. Every single member of staff was kind, polite, helpful, and genuinely caring. You are greeted with smiles every day, everyone treats guests with respect, and they always make sure everything is perfect for your stay. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying on this coast of Thailand, especially if you are interested in surfing, as Memories Beach is one of the best spots for it. But even beyond surfing, this place is perfect if you are looking for a quieter, more relaxing area away from loud nightlife and crowds. There are accommodation options for every taste — from beautiful deluxe rooms with garden or beach views, to swim-up rooms and private pool villas where each villa has its own personal pool. The rooms are spacious, stylish, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need. Even during rainy weather the hotel is prepared — large, sturdy umbrellas are provided in the rooms for guests to use, which was another thoughtful detail we appreciated. The night market is also conveniently close, only around 10–15 minutes away by taxi, and taxis are very affordable — especially if you arrange a return trip with the same driver. This resort truly gave us one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we have ever had in Thailand. We would absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront escape with wonderful service, nature, comfort, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Read less

The location is pleasant, quiet and secluded right next to the sea so there is always a cooling breeze. There are three restaurants on site, all serving an amazing array of food and drink. All the staff are willing to help. There is plenty of pool space. All in all it has been an amazing stay at an amazing beachfront resort, given the chance my wife and I would come back here, our room (317) was particularly nice. Read less

Great resort that has plenty of options with dining and activities. Surf boards and kayaks for rent. Staff were lovely. One of our favorite parts of the resort was the live fire show Saturday night. Super cool! Great stay, would come again!
