Atelier Playa Mujeres

My mom and I did a 4 day girls trip here this week (I am 20 and was possibly the youngest guest at the resort). Our room was in building 2 and had a view of the golf course (absolutely gorgeous). The hotel rooms and entire resort has incredible architecture, furniture, and art! The hotel is in a gated community and about 45 minutes from the airport via shuttle. The atmosphere and staff at this resort are incredible! Our server Julio at the Life & Vibe pool made us feel so special and was a highlight of our trip, as well as Rojas who got our chairs set up with towels and moved our umbrella everyday! Carlos made bracelets by the pool and organized fun pool games each afternoon (the adults-only vibe is fun when it comes to the games)! The room and amenities were great; the staff truly thought of everything. Room keys are bracelets which is very convenient! Olga and Arturo at the gym were experienced in fitness and great; the classes (TRX, spin, etc.) offered were such a nice addition to our trip! There’s such a wide variety of restaurants and types of food! We looked forward to our breakfasts with Luis at Mercado 19 and our dinner at Kopai with Eleazar was incredible! I had my wedding here last month with 70 of our closest friends and family, and it was nothing less than absolute perfection! The resort handled everything, provided a coordinator (shoutout to Denise) and an on-site photographer/videographer El Instante who were amazing to work with. I didn't have to figure out every single detail and do any work when I arrived, which was exactly what I wanted. Everyone was awesome, I felt like I was behind on planning the whole time and they did not rush me once to make any decisions. I worked with Cesar all day on my wedding day and rehearsal dinner capturing our events and he was great, had amazing energy and delivered great pics and great vibes. I received my photos just 3 weeks after the wedding, which was way earlier than I anticipated. Props to the team that works at their in-house studio at the resort --Arlene, Julio the manager and everyone else that helped to make our day feel effortlessly pictured. I've been to Atelier twice before, and had zero doubts that they would deliver on our wedding, but my expectations were exceeded with their photography services and team members. This is our 8th stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres. Atelier means homemade/hand made. This hotel is not a huge cold franchise hotel. The food/meals in this hotel are extremely high quality. Although all-inclusive I must say you cannot purchase the high quality, preparation, and service outside of this hotel. Most places leave you saying "that was ok" Not Atelier, you leave every meal saying that was incredible! The value of the food seems better than what you pay for, always: I do not understand how, but it gets better every stay!!!! The architecture. cleanliness, rooms, and services compare to none. Diamond excellence!!! We sleep very well there. Atelier uses top quality everything including bedding and guest services twice daily!! They top everyone! I cannot wait to return. At Mercado 19 breakfast be sure to sit with Donovan, Juan Carlos and Carlos. This service team will start your day with BEST SERVICE!! They are proactive and bring you what you want before you can ask. Their energy and smiles are contagious. They set the tone of the day to be one of contentment and happiness! Sonnya, Gilberto, Ianis, and Mario make themselves visible and eligible to you at all times. They include upper management, management, hostess and want to make sure you love every meal and all your needs are met. These staff members are eager to have any feedback you wish to give. The entire staff of the hotel always are smiling and wanting to do something to meet your every need. Activities on and off campus are totally fun any time we/you choose to patriciate. This stay El Suspirio steak, lobster and cauliflower bites were my very favorite. Excellent service and atmosphere!!!! The Alba restaurant is our favorite lunch choice offering daily specialty wraps and salads. Perfect allowing us not to feel too full and swim and participate in afternoon walks and activates. Cilento (the Italian Restaurant) is divine, for lunch. Dinners provide authentic Italian flavors and many great Italian dinner choices. Great views and service!! ALL great. I know because I am an Italian cook!!! This chef is excellent!!! Los Abrosos (which means hugs/is a steak house) and another favorite. Los Abrosos is located where you have breathtaking views and on Friday nights, they have a team with a professional telescope who provide you views of the moon and the sky!!! From the lobby entrance to the pools, to the ocean, to the coffee shop to the spa, to your accommodations and restaurants you feel at home as soon as you place a foot on the property!! The noise level is so comforting. You can read a book, nap, have conversations, sleep all without the offensive noise. Music playing at the pools goes with your mood. These staff members are eager to have any feedback you wish to give. The entire staff of the hotel always are smiling and wanting to do something to meet your every need. Activities on and off campus are totally fun any time we/you choose to patriciate. This stay, El Suspirio steak, lobster and cauliflower bites were my very favorite.
