Booked through Tui, this was the worst holiday we have been on in our entire lives. Hotel was tyred; our room was disgusting. Dirty Floors, dirty brew area, leaking air conditioning unit, rusty and dirty lamp shades, dirty toilet pipe work, lime scale on taps and the window in bathroom was border up with a thin bit of plaster board which could very easily be knocked through from the corridor to gain access to the room. The Restaurant was more like a canteen, with sticky tables and dirty rubber mesh place mats. Health and safety violations such as broken emergency lighting, no smoke detector in our room, exposed electrical wires all-round the hotel, plug sockets in corridors hanging off. Pool was cloudy for about 3 days, trip hazards round the pool from trap door to a pump room over 6 foot deep. Exposed electrical wires on the patio which was a trip hazard and possible electrocution. Exterior masonry cracked and fallen away. Ripped umbrellas on the beach and around the pool. Sun beds with dirty mouldy mattresses. There were so many more Health and Safety Violation at this hotel, far too many to list here. Advice if you have booked with Tui, cancel this hotel breaches far too many Health and Safety Regulations. When reported to Tui they did not help so we were stuck there for 10 days, if we had moved to another hotel it was going to cost us another £4000. Tui offered a holiday voucher that did not even cover a 5th of what we paid, I will never use this company again, once they have your money they just don't care. Holiday from HELL Thanks Tui. Not great ! Great reception and nice staff but the rooms are really tatty and bathrooms really old fashioned and dark . Food we found ok and could always find something suitable to eat but was such a treat to go to a restaurant along the road. .worst thing was some of the restaurant staff are obviously bored and really not enjoying their job which showed they way they spoke to the customers .So rude .they slopped around the restaurant as if they had no energy and often didn’t answer you if you asked for something like another glass of wine ! At the beach bar they look at you ,you would order and then they went into kitchen . Another bar man would say “ are you being served “and we would say “ we don’t actually know ! “That happened a few times and Also to others . Beach is not actually accessible from hotel you have to clamber over a rock to the left or right of hotel to get on a beach and have a swim. Garden is lovely but whole hotel needs a refurb and the people saying it gets 5 star have obviously never been to a 5 star.sorry Read less

The 3 stars given by most are reasonable , personally i would say a 4 star resort. It had everything we were looking for, a private beach, a nice pool, a comfortable room, and an all inclusive package. The food was decent and there were never any waits at the bar or in the restaurant

This hotel is TRUE to its roots! Yes it has been classed as a 3 star hotel BUT it’s NOT really. Its position on the beach is far superior to the beach of Sandals Royal, which has a rubbish and a creeping vine on it’s beach, the beach here is clean and sandy. The buffet food is magnificent in its capacity to have something for everyone at every meal. Fresh omelette fresh fruits yogurt for breakfast along with pancakes bacon maple syrup eggs tomatoes baked beans and more All managed with the biggest smiles by Gayle and Wendy and their hard working happy team.! The Bar held down by the MARVELLOUS Shaun wonderfully assisted by Shaka and Morrison. Then indomitable Sandra who makes absolutely sure that every table and surface in the bar and swimming area is as clean and serviced with drinks as she can make it.. The reef al la carte under the firm supervision of Sonjay is lovely. An ever changing continental menu of fine food beautifully served by her excellent staff. There is food for everyone whatever their fancy. The rooms are cleaned meticulously every single day bed linen and towels changed every day. I have stayed in 5 star hotels where cleaning has left a lot be desired..There is nightly entertainment DJ Ron gets everyone on the dance floor as does MickeyD . There is a fun Karaoke night on Thursday night which is an absolute HOOT. There are guest bands that get the dance floor rocking! Here is paradise . Come and enjoy it yourself, we are and will return next year, like many of our friends we have met over the years. Kate and Barry Read less
