Food in the downstairs restaurant was very good apart from the desserts which ran out early and were not replenished. The ice cream, which you have to ask for is delicious. Evening entertainment was from 8pm to 10pm most evenings and was OK. Because it's a small hotel everyone gets to know each other and we found that people were very friendly. The Hotel does look tired on the outside and is in need of refurbishment though this didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. Read less

The bar provides local spirits and wines all day big shout to Shaun, Gabriel , the best Bloody Mary ever ! Thank you , the food is varied , Rachel does outstanding omelette/ eggs each morning and we are always greeted by Samantha in arriving to the veranda restaurant . The team at the restaurant are attentive and so very polite , nothing is too much trouble , highly recommend aubergine lasagne and the fried chicken ! The lunchtime BBQ provides great burgers ! In all, this hotel provides a comfortable stay , where you are valued as a customer and the beach and sea view is idyllic… Downside : fitness room needs update , most equipment broken , needs a good clean ! If you want luxury go up road and pay a fortune for sandals, if you want value for money with basic clean comfort and outstanding polite staff then come here ! From room 201 Read less

We wanted to write a review because our experience has been fine. The food is good and varied with good choice including salads, traditional foods as well as BBQ . Breakfasts are also varied and they will cook to order. We had nice quiet room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. Transport is easy from the main road. The sea is not calm here for swimming, but the views are lovely and we have gone to other beaches Read less

Sadly the Barbados Beach Club has seen better days, the rooms are very clean & spacious, a pool, pool bar & on a good transport route..... but... it needs a complete re-vamp and a catering corp! Sadly the Barbados Beach Club has seen better days, the rooms are very clean & spacious, a pool, pool bar & on a good transport route..... but... it needs a complete re-vamp and a catering corp! The food is dire and repetative ( last nights dinner is todays breakfast... great if you like fried rice with your toast??) Rooms are never ready for 3pm check in and unable to use the all inclusive facilities until this time, no complimentry drink as advetised either. Entertainment reduced to a few nights a week & finishes at 10pm. On site restaurant has gone to smaller portions leaving folk hungary and unimpressed. All food on site is cold to luke warm, and afternoon tea sandwhiches are cut with a razor blade... how can they be so small??? None the less, a big shout out to Samantha & Sandra in the food hall who are a credit to the hotel. Tui are reducing the star system given, its a shame as we have stayed here before and its a question of tightening things up, its a beach front property in a prime spot, and could be the best on the block. Until then, we will stay else where but wish them all the very best for the future. Ps: the tortoise enclosure needs a clean & vet checks too. Read less
