30 air-conditioned suites on 2 floors. All suites have a large furnished balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, sitting area, LCD TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, well-stocked mini-bar* (complimentary on All Inclusive plan, snacks and non alcoholic beverages included in the breakfast and half board plans), safe and iron and board, bathrobes and hairdryer. Westside Suite (previously named Superior) have a separate lounge area and double shower, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
All Inclusive option:includes welcome cocktail and in-suite snacks on arrival, all meals including à la carte breakfast served daily in guest room, on terrace or on the beach at a private table, lunch at The Beach Club at Calabash, afternoon tea, and à la carte dinner in the Rhodes Restaurant. The Calabash is outstanding in almost every aspect. Communication from the hotel pre-arrival was great and included questions regarding arrival time and airline so the hotel could arrange transportation. Even though there was a delay getting through passport control due to new immigration systems, the driver was waiting for us with a welcome air conditioned vehicle. We were greeted on arrival at the hotel with not only a refreshing drink but also smiles from the staff that lasted throughout our stay. Our suite was cool and beautifully appointed with a really comfortable bed and possibly the best shower ever! It goes without saying the food is wonderful, we especially enjoyed the Japanese style Nori restaurant. Sitting on comfortable sunbeds on the sandy beach under the shady trees was so relaxing, birds singing and gentle waves lapping. Everything was just about perfect….apart from the staff who were somehow even better! I will not name any members of staff for fear of missing someone, suffice to say, everyone we encountered was absolutely wonderful, so polite, so helpful and so so friendly. Well done to all concerned.
