Full Board option: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mineral water and regular coffee/tea will be included during meal times only (upon request).

All-Inclusive packages run from 08:00am–midnight. Any drinks consumed outside of these hours will be charged on consumption.

All-Inclusive package: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Selection of local snacks are serviced between the hours of 10:30am-11:30am, 4:30pm–6:00pm & 10:30pm–11:30pm. Unlimited regular house brands from a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only), unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu, selection of draught beer, selection of carbonated soft drinks, canned fruit juice, mineral water plus tea and coffee at all outlets. Access to gym, badminton, tennis, squash courts, table tennis, billiard, snooker, beach volleyball (equipment included).

Virgin All-Inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. A selection of local and premium branded spirits, wine, beer and cocktails, soft drinks, fresh juices and milkshakes, tea and coffee. Plus one seafood grill steak dinner at the table once per stay, special turndown service with chocolate and mini-bar including soft drinks and beer (replenished once daily). One dolphin watching excursion per stay. Use of fitness centre, badminton, tennis courts, table tennis, billiards and beach volleyball.

Premium All-Inclusive package: includes all inclusions of the standard package plus a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, in-room mini-bar stocked with beer, soft drinks and selection of snacks (replenished daily), premium International brand spirits wines and cocktails, unlimited fresh juice and milkshakes, 2 complimentary excursions from selected list - per person per stay (weather permitting), invitation to two special themed party events organised by the resort, one special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak, signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Mandara Spa once every 5-night stay, turndown service every night and outside the hours of 08:00am–12:00am any drinks consumed (regardless of AI package booked) will be charged on consumption.

Room upgrades

Beach Bungalows are located around the bay, offering stunning views of the glistening Indian Ocean, with 1 king-size bed and separate divan/day bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child.

Water Bungalows are located on the southwest side of the island and offer 66 sq m of living space, state-of-the-art entertainment facilities and a spacious private terrace leading out to the lagoon. Each bungalow comes with a Jacuzzi, 1 king-size bed and separate divan/day bed, sleeping maximum adults.

Junior Beach Suites are located on the beach with an outdoor verandah and terrace and an open-air shower or bathtub with 1 king-size bed and separate divan/day bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Over Water Suites are situated on the northwest side of the island and have a total of 85 sq m of living space with a glass floor panel, and a private outdoor terrace, sleeping maximum 3 adults. Over Water Suite guests enjoy exclusive access to the resort’s Rehendhi Restaurant and Bar, serving gourmet buffets and wines from the attached wine cellar, plus an exclusive swimming pool to while away the hours.

Beach Suite with Pool are a 2 story unit with a separate living and bedroom space overlooking the beach front and an outdoor shower with 1 king-size bed and single/day bed on upper floor and the option for a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Ground Floor Suites have a day bed which can be used as a single bed, sleeping maximum 5 adults and 3 adults and 2 children.

1/5 – Serious Safety & Management Failure I am writing this review as a warning to other travelers. Our stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives, which was meant to celebrate our anniversary, turned into a deeply disappointing and stressful experience — not only because of what happened, but because of how hotel management handled it. On the first day of our stay, a gold bracelet disappeared from our room immediately after housekeeping. We reported this to reception at once. What followed was not a professional investigation, but a series of contradictory explanations and an evident attempt to shift responsibility onto the guest. Despite the fact that we informed management that we possess full-day photographic evidence with timestamps, proving that the bracelet was not worn at any time that day, the hotel continued to insist that it was “lost by us.” This approach was dismissive, defensive, and unacceptable for a resort of this price and reputation. Even more concerning was the way the “investigation” was conducted: staff statements changed over time, timelines did not align, and no transparent explanation was ever provided. Most disappointing of all: no apology was offered. Not for the stress. Not for the fear of having personal belongings go missing. Not for the fact that this happened on the first day and ruined the entire stay and our anniversary. Luxury hospitality is not only about beaches and rooms — it is about trust, accountability, and how problems are handled. In this case, management failed on all three levels. If you value: feeling safe in your room, professional and transparent problem resolution, and respectful treatment when something goes wrong I strongly recommend reconsidering this resort. This was not the experience we expected — and certainly not one we would ever repeat. Read less

Our Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at Cinnamon Dhonveli, and it was truly a beautiful and memorable experience. The photo taken upon our arrival was thoughtfully framed and placed in our room, a lovely surprise that genuinely touched our hearts. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing front office team — Ushaam, Shiman, Hammaz, Nafu, Nasa, Meera, Hoodh, Bashaar, Kasun, Nipuni, and Prashan. Special appreciation goes to the GM, Mr. Marlon Robert, and Mr. Prabath (HR) for their kindness, warmth, and care throughout our stay. We would also like to specially mention Haseen, who guided us during the dolphin-watching excursion and made it a truly enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we felt genuinely well cared for at every moment. The cleanliness of the room throughout our stay was excellent — always spotless, well maintained, and extremely comfortable, which made our experience even more relaxing. A special thank you to our room attendant, Razzaq, who did a wonderful job and was always polite, attentive, and ensured everything was perfectly arranged. We also truly appreciated the excellent service provided by the bar and restaurant staff, especially Akila and Khair. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming, making every meal and drink a pleasure. The resort is conveniently located close to the airport, and the arrival process was impressively smooth — we were greeted within 10–15 minutes, without any waiting, and assisted with our luggage right away. The speedboat transfer took only 25 minutes and was perfectly organized. From the warm and professional welcome at reception to every detail on the island, everything felt seamless. The villa was spotless, with the beach just steps away and crystal-clear water full of marine life. The spa experience and complimentary outdoor yoga sessions were exceptional, and the delicious food completed a truly luxurious first Maldives experience that already makes us want to return. The best honeymoon ❤️

This was our first time to the Maldives and cinnamon Dhonveli certainly lived up to the reviews! We stayed in an over water suite and had access to the Rhendi restaurant and pool. That side of the island is very relaxed and just paradise! The staff at the cinnamon Dhonveli are out of this world, can’t do enough for you. A special shout out to Khair the most amazing chef (his pastas and omelettes are incredible) . Also Leem , our waiter , always remembering our drinks and a warming cheeky sense of humour and Srimanti the restaurant manager who glides around the restaurant, keeping everything running smoothly, she also looked after us when we booked a steak dinner for two (which was incredible). Abul the room cleaner did a fab job everyday and such a friendly chap! The food is amazing, so much to choose from. We had a couples massage which was insanely good! The ladies in the spa work their socks off and are lovely. The other side of the island is a bit busier , you can watch the big waves and surfers , and a sunset view to die for! They had started to put up the Christmas decs and it was looking amazing , we were so gutted to be going home. The snorkelling is amazing and the beach, just stunning.
