In Meemu Atoll, 145km south of Malé Island. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

10 Standard Bungalows, 70 Water Bungalows and 20 Platinum Beach Bungalows are built around two islands with direct access to the lagoon. All with sun deck, air-conditioning, lounge area with glass-bottomed floor (in water Bungalows), TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board (on request), and bathrobes. Beach Bungalows are in a secluded inland location on the main island in close proximity to the main pool & bar with 1 double bed, plus an extra bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

The restaurant staff are exceptional, in particular Rumesh, Shifaz and Dhaain. They looked after us so well throughout our stay and made it extra special.
We were a little disappointed with the drink options on the all inclusive menu and extra charges for eating anywhere other than eating in the main restaurant.

The Platinum Island only has 20 villas and has its own restaurant and bar though you can use the main islands facilities too, but we much preferred the much smaller islands atmosphere.
The room is just glorious with everything you need including lots of storage, kettle, Nespresso machine, fridge with soft drinks and beer included, part open air bathroom with twin basins, sliding doors out to the priva5e decking with sunnloungers, daybed and table and chairs all kept supremely clean by our room guy Niyam who was just fabulous. One minor point is that the roof of the room is like a canvas marquee affair which does help keep.the room cool but is very loud if the weather gets stormy.
The restaurant is buffet with the usual live cooking stations and offers a great selection of very tasty food. They do have two chilled rooms (brilliant idea!) for the salads and cold starters then a further separate one for desserts. The live cooking station chef Kelum is not only great at his craft but one of the most charming and friendly guys you will come across, great fun and very professional he is an absolute asset to the team. 😎
The service is continued by the waiters especially Shifas, he is just a star who very quickly knows your drinks order so you don't even have to ask!!! 👏👏👏
I must say that in all of our visits we have never had such tasty desserts as here so be warned you will put on weight!! 😋😋😋
The fantastic service is replicated in the bar with yhe two bar tenders Nandana and Menaka, these guys know how to give excellent service that many places would do well to learn from.
To counter the gorgeous food there is a gym on the main island which I made use of every morning while the wife was sleeping, there is enough equipment in there but maybe an alteration to your routine will be needed for the kit they have.
The island itself is stunning, it has a massive lagoon which is outstandingly beautiful and needs to be seen to be believed as photos will never do it justice. You will see lots of sealife while wandering around especially a huge number of baby sharks and puffer fish. There is not a great amount of snorkelling from the beach for avid snorkellers but the island does complimentary boat trips twice a day to the reef.
Hiw would.we rate our stay, well for chilling out on a fantastic island with superb facilities and outstanding service it ticks every box. Would we return, yes without question.
For anyone considering this gem of an island i would say just book it, its one of the prettiest islands in the Maldives and won't disappoint. Its not perfect but punches well above its weight.

If you're looking for action, you can always head to the larger island, where there's billiards, table tennis, and even karaoke. There are more people there. The cuisine is varied and delicious. Seafood, fish, poultry, beef, pork, lamb, various vegetables, fruits, and exquisite light desserts are always available. Special mention goes to chef Charuna Kelum | Ansavi, who made the best carbonara we've ever had! Thank you so much! Our waiter, Aiham, surrounded us with care and attention from the very first meeting. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, without any problems. Thank you! Of course, I'd like to mention the bartender, Nandana. Delicious cocktails, the best hookah on the island – it's all him! Absolutely amazing, a great pleasure. Thank you! We also had a lobster dinner. It was truly delicious and cozy; we don't wish for a single dollar spent! The Tumidor-style lobster with cheese and cream sauce is our favorite. Thanks to waiter Sandun for the excellent service. We went on a manta ray excursion – an unforgettable experience. Just don't forget to bring long-sleeved shirts and wear sunscreen. Thanks to Ashtaf for this excursion – a ton of impressions! Oh yes, there are wonderful rabbits of different colors and crabs of different sizes on the island. The sea is calm, no waves.
