Our honeymoon was absolutely beautiful at your hotel. We loved our water bungalow, which was always kept clean. We were satisfied with the diverse food selection every day. Special thanks to Shifaz and Rumesh who went absolutely above and beyond to make our stay perfect and memorable! We also enjoyed the excursions, like island hopping with Maiha and sunset fishing. It is clear from the previous reviews that I have read that this island delivers in so many ways. The number of return visitors speaks for itself. I feel it might be helpful, rather than just repeating the general rave compliments, if I submit a more detailed review. The journey from Male by domestic Airline after a lengthy wait was not enjoyable and I paid for a seaplane return. I do recommend a seaplane transfer if it is within your budget. The beach villa was spacious, expensively furnished and gave a stunning view of the lagoon. Excellent! On arrival at the restaurant I was shown to an allocated table and welcomed warmly by my waiters. The buffet was extensive and catered to all tastes. So far so good. The next morning I could have cried - the water had receded so far out it was a complete shock. Now of course I should have known that the lagoon was tidal and the moon phases affected it but I had not experienced this on a previous island I visited and was unprepared. The water was ankle deep for the most part. I had gone to the Maldives to swim not stare at a rocky wilderness. It did vary in the space of a week and was slightly better as the tides changed. Obviously many visitors to the island are happy with splashing in the lovely pool and maybe a bit of swim later in the day. It is certainly safe for those not confident in deep water. I was able to take the twice daily shuttle to the reef for snorkeling but the time in the water was around 40 minutes only. The dive centre offered various paid excursions but also charged for no - motorised equipment (kayaks, paddle boards etc) which are usually included. Again, I clearly had not researched the dining arrangements in depth. I am not a big fan of buffets so thought the Corals restaurant would be more my style. This was only available at a full price menu, the same as anyone who had not booked all - inclusive. My previous experience was an included limited a la carte menu in the fine dining restaurants. The third restaurant and bar called Summer was not open at all. I was told it was because of low occupancy but I feel a beach bar is so integral to an island holiday. Open it and they will come! The bottom end of the island looked neglected to be honest. At this point I was rescued by Ushan the assistant Manager who suggested I move to the Platinum island. Here the restaurant is a smart mixture of buffet and personal service. Angeli, the wonderful chef, is out front chatting to everyone and offering to adapt any dish, cook things from scratch and bring it to your table when ready. Hannan the head waiter was smiling and attentive and obviously cared that the guests were happy. Perfect. The bar has a beach vibe and wonderful smiles from the bar staff - Menaka and everyone. Finally there has been much discussion on the Facebook page about whether to upgrade to Premium all - inclusive. That's hard to answer depending on how much you know your wines/drinks. I felt the all - inclusive was rather semi - inclusive (eg no Margaritas!) and the boxed wines were disappointing. In conclusion this resort cannot be beaten for the dedication of the staff, if you are happy with buffet food for every meal and swimming is not a priority. Read less

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The lobsters were incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. A special thank you to Sadun for his outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, making us feel truly welcome. His recommendations were excellent, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Great food, exceptional service, and a wonderful atmosphere. The best thing that could have happened to us in the Maldives was choosing Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Resort. Everything here is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. Upon arrival, we were gifted reusable water bottles, which turned out to be incredibly useful throughout our stay. The island itself is beautifully maintained, spotless, and cared for with great attention. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. The views are breathtaking, and all villas feel wonderfully private thanks to the carefully planned landscaping and smart layout of the property. The ocean entrance is mostly soft sand, with some coral in certain areas, but it is easy to find comfortable spots for swimming. The resort also offers a spa, fitness center, and two swimming pools. We stayed on the adults-only (18+) island, where the panoramic pool became one of our favorite places. A special thank you to our room attendant, Habeeb. Every time he serviced our villa, it was left sparkling clean and filled with a lovely mango fragrance. The restaurant deserves special recognition. The chefs and waitstaff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Chefs Chavana, Kelum, and Auxali would often ask why we were eating so little and whether there was anything special they could prepare for us. That level of genuine care truly touched our hearts. The food was diverse, delicious, and clearly prepared with love. There was a wonderful selection of fish, seafood, meat dishes, and plenty of options for vegetarians as well. We would also like to thank the amazing waitstaff — Riyaaz, Nandana, and Menaka. Our tables were always perfectly clean, and our drinks seemed to arrive before we even realized we wanted them. The entire experience felt less like staying at a resort and more like visiting family — a place where you are surrounded by warmth, care, and kindness, while being treated to incredible food every day. Words really can't capture how grateful we are to the entire team at the resort. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon this past May, and from the moment we arrived—the drums, the beautiful flower necklaces, and that incredible welcome drink (honestly the best I’ve ever had!)—we knew we were in for something special. Everything about the stay was fantastic, but I have to give a huge shout-out to the pastry team. The sweets were well beyond our expectations, and those brownies were absolutely life-changing. A massive thank you to everyone, but especially to Harshani, Raufa, and Thara. You truly made our honeymoon feel like a real HONEYmoon. We are already looking forward to coming back! Read less
