The staff here are just wonderful - from Shakil at the bar, to all the restaurant staff (including Sandy H, Alexandria, Treveisha, Jalon, Gamoy, Indira and Jermaine) and Kemal who was a great help at checkout. Our cottage was great, with the same stunning sea views we had during our last stay. The grounds are very well kept and the food in the restaurant was just as delicious as it was during our last stay. We loved walking along the beach every morning after breakfast, along Little Ffryes and then Ffryes Bay beach and back and then picking up a cup of coffee from the hotel coffee shop before settling down either at the pool or down at the beach. This is just a perfect hotel if you like good food, beautiful views and peace and quiet for a relaxed holiday, all the while being looked after by the most attentive and genuinely friendly staff. We are already looking forward to returning, hopefully in the not too distant future! Read less

Our bungalow was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the resort. The food was a standout. Every meal was excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. One thing to be aware of is the entry road to the resort. It is in very rough shape. If you plan to rent a car, I strongly recommend considering a 4x4 rather than a small vehicle like the Vitz we had. Overall, a fantastic experience in a beautiful setting. We would happily return. We went for Christmas so I'll focus on that and let all the other great reviews about the resort and staff speak for themselves. We revisited Cocobay but came for the first time at Christmas. We were worried that peak time would mean a very busy resort. Far from it, guests were absorbed into the all the various spaces so the peaceful vibe was maintained. They put on a Christmas carol concert on the day before Christmas Eve with champagne, canapés, cocktails and carols on the cliff deck. It started in daylight and finished in the dark - a really enjoyable couple of hours. The main Christmas food was served on Christmas Eve with turkey roast dinner and Christmas pudding among the options. It was so good! We went to our cottage to find Christmas cookies and sorrel juice (a Christmas mixer) so had a lovely night cap. Christmas Day food was their usual high standard. They celebrate Boxing Day so the day after Christmas they put on a delicious Caribbean BBQ - fish, meats, vegetables all served with various rices, salads and other bits and pieces. Amazing deserts too. You could see how proud the staff were to provide the food. The meal was accompanied by steel drums and you had the chance to learn how to play them earlier in the afternoon. There was also an afternoon of cocktails and painting where you could follow a local artist and paint with a drink. This was our first Christmas away from home. It was relaxed, chilled and just right! Would 100% recommend. Read less

We've been here a few times before and really love it. I disagree with the bad reviews, food and drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol) are fantastic. Sure you can upgrade but included food+drinks are brilliant and high standard, we've never considered it necessary to pay extra for anything. Sure you can upgrade but included food+drinks are brilliant and high standard, we've never considered it necessary to pay extra for anything. Staff are super lovely and we always have a great time, hence we keep coming back. I deduct a point from my score because: - the kitchen fan from Sheer Rocks immediately adjacent is so noisy, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the restaurant are not tranquil and you end up shouting at each other. Even at the poolsides get noisy. My biggest complaint. An agreement to funnel the fan could resolve most of this - much of the decking around the pool is old, even dangerous with uneven surfaces. Our stay at Cocobay was absolutely amazing. The views were unreal, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was top-notch. Even though there’s only one restaurant—which is rare for an all-inclusive—it was more than worth it. Every meal was high quality and delicious. Truly a perfect stay.”
