This is an absolutely fabulous resort! We were here April 2025 , returned in March 2026… we’re now booking for March 2027! Lots of things about this resort make it so amazing, its location, its staff team and its food to name just a few. The staff take exceptionally good care of you, they always greet you with a warm welcome and a huge smile and take time to get to know you and build a lovely relationship. It was great to see so many of the staff from last year still at the hotel and a huge shout out to Saskia, Jermaine and Kemlin for looking after us brilliantly. It was lovely to see Saskia and Jermaine shining in their new positions…huge congratulations to them both. The food is fantastic! Food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is A la carte and there was always a great choice to select from. The restaurant is a lovely open space with fabulous views, we really looked forward to every visit. We were also lucky to visit the Cliff restaurant which was superb, Kerry and Mel (amazing cocktails) looked after us very well, and the chef cooked a brilliant lunch. We also went to the wine tasting session where we were able to taste some lovely wine accompanied by tasty nibbles. The session was very informative and we met some interesting guests. An enjoyable experience, thank you. The bar area is a great space, with seating at the bar, in the area or on a swing ( our favourite!) it was a really comfortable space where you readily made new friends. The cocktails and drinks were fantastic too! The hotel location is perfect. It is easy to find your favourite spot to spend the day. We spent most of our days on the beach which was lovely. We were looked after very well with drinks service and also we really enjoyed the beach BBQ on a couple of days. A huge thank you to everyone at the resort for such a wonderful holiday xx (room 38) Read less

Having stayed at various hotels in Antigua and Coco’s last year, we decided to pay out a little more for our stay at Cocobay and to be honest we left a little disappointed. The location is beautiful and it’s certainly an upgrade facilities wise, the pool areas and beach are stunning and first impressions give you the wow factor. But for us, small details really let this place down. Stocked minibar in the room upon arrival, great, only to find out that this mini bar doesn’t get restocked unless you pay! We stayed for 2 weeks and after complaining we were informed it would be refilled ONCE! The food is OK, I’m not sure how people rave about it, the options are really limited. The coco bay burger features every night and th lunchtime and breakfast menus are limited. Not sure how you can’t offer a basic omelette or tomato or beans to go with a basic breakfast. If you don’t want a sit down limited offering from the restaurant, you have the offer of a panini from the sunset pool bar, that is literally it! They offer a further snack that you can order from 330pm but again it’s limited and really not of good quality. Coffee delivery to the room is a lovely touch, shame you have to pay $5 a day for this service, don’t bother and walk down to the coffee shop! I also have to disagree with the numerous comments saying how friendly ALL the staff are, without doubt most of them are, but there is also a small minority that won’t give you the time of day and don’t seem to want to be there. Bar staff great, some of the serving staff not so. Local beer is not great a the only other offering on that front is Corona, they also don’t use premium brands which is really disappointing for the money you pay. Overall we enjoyed our stay, this hotel has the potential to great, but the quality and personal touches are missing, certainly when you realise it’s top end price wise in comparison to other hotels on the island. Sadly, because of the above, we won’t be returning and would probably say Coco’s is a better quality of hotel and less expensive. Read less

We have just had the most relaxing holiday! Cocobay Resort is truly a haven for anyone seeking sun and warmth with the most courteous and helpful hosts and team. Lovely infinity Pool’s but as always we’re most at home on the beach which although public is pretty much part of the resort. Great location all round. Cottages are idyllic, a good size and well provisioned with a rustic island. Furnished traditionally with very comfortable beds. Restaurant serves some fantastic dishes! Well flavoured and balanced and extremely well presented. For someone who doesn’t have a massive appetite, servings are perfect. We had a few trips out of the resort, to the authentic Antiguan capital, St. John’s; English Harbour, taking in Shirley Heights (a must for the views) and Nelsons Dockyard. Antigua is a great place and Cocobay a fantastic and authentic resort. Would recommend in a heartbeat, we’ll be back for sure. Read less
