The service and stay was amazing. All of the staff are incredibly helpful and super accommodating. You’re steps away from many different beaches. The rooms are clean, they spray your room so that mosquitoes do not bother you. The food is fresh. Make sure you book a reservation at Sheer Rocks. It’s a gorgeous cliff restaurant. Coco Bay Resort We stayed at Coco Bay resort in April for 2 weeks and loved it! First resort we have been to where all meals are served at the table which was great, (rather than the usual buffet). There is a menu you chose from, this changes daily, we found food to be good quality and there is always their burger & chips each night if you are struggling with the choices. Waitresses were lovely, friendly and chatty. Only negative is that some times the food wasn’t very hot. There is certainly no shortage of food, there is the coffee shop which has cookies, cakes and a great choice of coffees, if you miss breakfast pop along. You can also pick up chilled bottles of water here, and gifts like rum, cigars, jewellery, along with tan lotion if you run out. You can order coffee to your room on their app, although it was problematic. Lunch is 3 courses, dinner is 3 courses, and there’s also ‘bar bites’ available in the afternoon, you will definitely not go hungry. Being a fussy wine drinker I did check what wine they have before we booked, and to my delight they served a nice Chardonnay as well as other wines, perfect! Beach was lovely, white soft sand and very shallow. There are 2 pools, we preferred the upper pool by the restaurant, we didn’t have any problems getting sun beds at the pool or on the beach. We did move rooms as the first room didn’t really have much of a sea view, the next room had a great view. Nice spacious cottages, bathrooms have doors that open out to give great daylight when putting your make up on. Nice veranda where we would sit out with a coffee each morning and watch the sugar birds, one we named hoppy as he only had one leg. There are a couple of cats, one black one who is always around the restaurant, she’s friendly, doesn’t beg and likes the odd head rub. The other one we named Amy as she did wine a lot 😂 she’s also friendly and hangs around the bar and the pool. Some entertainment, great steel band giving the ‘Carib’ vibe. We didn’t go to Sheer Rocks as the menu wasn’t to our taste. We have been to Antigua 3 times and this is definitely the best place we have stayed at, totally relaxing, food and wine great, what is there not to like? Members who stood out for us, Sasha, Sandy H, Shania, Shavel, Dwanika, Omeayna, Cheryl, Lisa & Lorenzo at the bar, Reed on the beach, Alicia head of house keeping who was keen for feedback, Ariel who went out of her way to get me some diet tonic water for my gin, thank you. Would we come back? Absolutely! Read less

We stayed at Cocobay for our 10- year wedding anniversary and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The tropical property and grounds are gorgeous like walking through a botanical garden. Everything from the food, drinks, staff and service were fantastic. The menu changes daily and always offers vegetarian/seafood/meat options. The cottages are rustic but clean, beds very comfortable, and the views are beautiful. We also appreciated the wide age range of resort guests.. from 25-year-old honeymooners to older couples. We felt very safe at Cocobay as it is tucked back way off the main road with security. The two beaches were stunning and snorkeling was a highlight.. we saw barracuda, octopus, eels, and rays. It was also nice to be able to walk down the steps to Sheer Rocks for sunset cocktails. Having multiple pools and beaches to choose from was also huge plus. We miss our beach pina coladas and can’t wait to return someday! Read less

Stunning hotel - our 4th visit to Antigua but the best hotel to date. We had a villa with sea view and private plunge pool and goodness what a view. To be able to sit in bed and watch the geckos and beautiful birds on the balcony (and sneaking into the room to steal the sugar), the hummingbirds and the pelicans diving into the ocean is like no view we’ve ever experienced. The food was excellent. There were some additional things that were an extra cost but you honestly don’t need to pay for them - there are 2 lovely pools and we were always able to get a sunbed. There are also lots of beds on the beautiful beach and option to have drinks bought to you. You can also walk further along to another 2, probably even more, stunning beaches. Very low key evening entertainment but just the perfect place. Read less
