This was our second time in the Maldives but our first (and probably not our last visit to Moofushi). Last time we travelled with our family and that has special memories. Comparing one resort with another is difficult - some things were better this time and others perhaps not quite as good but I am splitting hairs. Moofushi is a magical place and there are so many great memories we will take away from our trip. Probably the top ones are.. Firstly, as many other people have said, the people are just fantastic, so friendly and keen to help. Nothing is too much trouble. Secondly, the island itself is beautiful and set up in such a relaxed way. It is not big, you could probably amble round it in 30 minutes, but it never felt claustrophobic. We just loved walking everywhere in bare feet and eating dinner every night on the beach. The house reef almost entirely encircles the island and you could probably swim around it if you had the inclination. We saw plenty of fish, eagle rays, reef sharks and the odd turtle but at certain times of the year we were told there are passing manta rays and even whale sharks. Thirdly, the quality of food and drink is excellent, with plenty of choice. Asian fusion night at the buffet restaurant was a particular favourite. We loved eating lunch on the beach at the Totem Bar - so relaxed. Other highlights for me were learning to sail a catamaran and having a first ever go at windsurfing for my 60th. I’d particularly like to call out Shinte at the water sports desk who was super friendly and helpful. Would I recommend Constance Moofushi to other people?. Without hesitation. Read less

Arriving in the Maldives the Constance moofushi representative was easily recognisable and guided us quickly through all aspects from obtaining seaplane boarding passes to the Constance shuttle. At the brand new modern seaplane terminal Constance has its own beautiful lounge where you are welcomed with a warm smile, cold drink and refreshing towel. Hotel check in is done right then and there. Being as OCD as I am, I asked the staff member about our departure. She simply responded :" You are now with Moofushi. You do not have to think or worry. Just enjoy your holiday and leave the thinking to us. We will guide you all the way from arrival to departure ". No truer words were spoken. The well organised seaplane transfer feels like the beginning of your adventure as you fly above the beautiful floating islands. Friendly staff greet you at the dock and yet again take control of everything. All personnel at the resort were extremely friendly, every single one. We were lucky enough to stay in number 78, a senior water villa. The layout was large and the space beautifully decorated. The cleaning staff was amazing and kept the mini bar stocked and the room clean. Small touches like a travel plug adapter showed how much effort was placed into creating a comfortable stress free experience. Just bear in mind that it is a kilometer walk to the restaurant as this is the furthest villa, but we absolutely enjoyed it. It made the villa feel very private. There buffet restaurant, Manta, had a different food theme each night. A wide variety of absolutely delicious fresh food catered to everyone's palates. Fresh fish and fruit formed part of every meal. We felt the food at Manta was of such a high quality, we did not feel the need to dine at Alizee, the more fancy restaurant. The all inclusive drink selection was excellent and we never felt that we were missing out. At this point I have to say a special thank you to Priyantha, the pastry chef at Manta. He was the first friendly face I encountered and when I mentioned that my partner had a gluten allergy he immediately took charge. He insisted we find him at every meal so that he could guide us through the options. Although the food is clearly marked for allergens and there was a large variety of gluten free options at the buffet, Priyantha insisted that we just need to tell him what we want to eat and he will prepare it fresh and separately, as he is afraid of cross contamination. He even went as far as baking gluten free desserts and breakfast crepes just for us. Along with his delicious food and exemplary service, his positive attitude and friendly chats made every meal feel special. Although Moofushi is the largest Maldivian resort we have been to, it never felt overcrowded. It has something to do for everyone. If you want to have water adventures like snorkelling or windsurfing or you could just chill by the Totem bar next to the swimming pool sipping on cocktails. For the rainy days they have table tennis, life sized chess, snooker and a well stocked library. If you want a party or just relaxing with a night cap, there is a bar for you. Totem bar caters for the relaxed crowd whilst Manta bar is for the more energetic night owls. The only negative, though through no fault of the resort, is the house reef which has been damaged by coral bleaching. Although the resident Marine biologist is trying their utmost to restore the coral it is a slow process and the amount of fish is not as many as we expected. This is a generalised problem within the Maldives. So snorkelling excursions are a must and it is an added paid extra that needs to be budgeted for. Ultimately it was a truelly memorable experience highlighted by excellent friendly service and delicious food. Read less

This is the most amazing place and would recommend to anyone. We visited on recommendation from our daughter who spent her honeymoon at Moofushi and we were not disappointed. It started at the airport with a great lounge experience, transfer to the sea plane was seamless and the welcome on the jetty on arrival was touching. Our villa was fantastic and spotless, cleaned and serviced twice a day by a team of hard working and always smiling housekeepers. During our stay the staff were incredible, kind, considerate, interested and attentive. This was consistent throughout our stay and was probably the thing that sticks with us most. All the staff smiled, said hello and seemed genuinely happy. The staff make this resort and there are too many special staff to name. The food was fantastic and the wine was incredible with so much choice. There is nothing we could fault at any meal and the chefs were always happy to chat and explain. The island is beautiful with lots to do, it takes your breathe away when you first see it! We were sad to leave but can honestly say Constance Moofushi is amazing. The staff should be proud. We will be back. Read less

Dear Mevin (GM), I hope are all doing well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible hospitality we received throughout our second stay. From the warm and thoughtful welcome to the heartfelt farewell, every moment reflected the genuine care and dedication your entire team puts into making guests feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine pairing chats with Madu, Aime and Geeth. Chef Priantha and Yogi were very attentive to my daughter dessert and broccoli demands. Ranjith was extremely accommodating and before we asked our sheesha was ready. Each day, we were looked after with such kindness and attention that it truly felt effortless on your part—even though we know how much work goes on behind the scenes. Nothing was ever too much trouble; every request was met with a smile, and every detail was handled with such grace and professionalism. It made our time at Moofushi not only relaxing and enjoyable, but truly unforgettable as usual. A social thanks to Yaabe ,Sinaz, Maiz ,Bobo, James, Rasheed. Thank you for creating such a beautiful atmosphere and for making us feel so valued and cared for. Your team is exceptional, and we are leaving with wonderful memories that we will cherish for a very long time. Read less

We spent an unforgettable week at Constance Moofushi Maldives, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, Luthi and the whole team made us feel completely at home — their warmth and genuine care set the tone for the entire stay. Our Senior Water Villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully laid out, perched above the most breathtaking turquoise water. We loved how the resort blends right into its surroundings — luxurious without ever feeling over the top, and perfectly in tune with that relaxed “barefoot chic” vibe that makes you instantly unwind. The food was a highlight every day: fresh, full of flavour, and always beautifully presented. Whether we were having breakfast by the water or a quiet dinner under the stars, every meal felt special. But what really makes Moofushi stand out is the people. Every staff member we met was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. A huge thank-you to Luthi and everyone at Constance Moofushi for giving us such a memorable stay. We left feeling recharged, grateful, and already dreaming about our next visit. Read less
