The hotel

A fantastic island haven, surrounded by large blue lagoons and white beaches, the premium all-inclusive Constance Moofushi combines barefoot chic with the highest standards of comfort and service. One of the diving hotspots of the world, take the plunge whilst here and experience a vivid world full of incredible colours. You can also snorkel the island’s house reefs as and when you wish, using complimentary snorkel equipment from the dive centre. There’s also windsurfing, paddle boarding amongst the waves and boat excursions. Accommodation is in stylish villas, each offering plenty of privacy and every modern amenity. Manta is the main buffet restaurant offering a range of dishes, made with the freshest of ingredients. Alizee is also a treat, located on the beach and serving à la carte dishes grilled to perfection. When you can tear yourself away from the beach or stunning swimming pool, there’s an overwater spa with tempting treatments galore. As the sun sets, head to one of the bars to linger over a pre-dinner drink. Manta Bar provides a great chill-out area after dark, with a lively atmosphere with DJ-spun tunes, whilst Totem Bar is great for relaxing under a star-lit sky.

Where is it

In the South Ari Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 25 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person). Constance has its own private air-conditioned departure lounge at the seaplane terminal with comfortable seating inside and out, complimentary WiFi, soft drinks and light refreshments before your short seaplane transfer. 

Hotel information

24 beach villas, 17 sand villas, 39 water villas or 30 senior water villas. All with air-conditioning, views of the Indian Ocean, complimentary WiFi, LCD TV, coffee facilities and a mini-bar. Beach Villas with terrace and sea view, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child. All Inclusive of: all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in Manta restaurant with daily themed buffet menus. Lunch is also available at Totem Bar (with à la carte menu). À la carte dinner at Alizée Beach Grill for guests staying 1–9 nights: 1 dinner / 10–16 nights: 2 dinners /17–19 nights: 3 dinners / 20–29 nights: 4 dinners / 30+ nights: 6 dinners. Afternoon tea with light bites served at Totem Bar. Premium branded spirits and International beers. A selection of mocktails, soft drinks and Moofushi water. Cocktails and Constance signature drinks menu. House Champagne available during meal times only. Wine list. Mini-bar stocked with selected red and white wine, beers, soft drinks, Moofushi water and snacks (refilled once daily). Snorkelling equipment. Complimentary boat excursions based on length of stay (subject to weather conditions).  

Please note: All Inclusive starts upon arrival at the resort and ends with lunch on day of departure.

Enjoy direct beach access in a Sand Villa, sleeping 2 adults and 1 child.

Water Villas are larger with large private decks and steps directly into the water, plus 1 king-size bed and extra bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Senior Water Villas are larger than Water Villas with a large outdoor bath tub and Nespresso™ coffee machine, with 1 king-size bed and 2 extra beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Manta Restaurant (international buffet and live cooking stations, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Different themed dinner each evening) and Alizee (À la carte beachfront restaurant). Totem bar.

This is the most amazing place and would recommend to anyone. We visited on recommendation from our daughter who spent her honeymoon at Moofushi and we were not disappointed. It started at the airport with a great lounge experience, transfer to the sea plane was seamless and the welcome on the jetty on arrival was touching. Our villa was fantastic and spotless, cleaned and serviced twice a day by a team of hard working and always smiling housekeepers. During our stay the staff were incredible, kind, considerate, interested and attentive. This was consistent throughout our stay and was probably the thing that sticks with us most. All the staff smiled, said hello and seemed genuinely happy. The staff make this resort and there are too many special staff to name. The food was fantastic and the wine was incredible with so much choice. There is nothing we could fault at any meal and the chefs were always happy to chat and explain. The island is beautiful with lots to do, it takes your breathe away when you first see it! We were sad to leave but can honestly say Constance Moofushi is amazing. The staff should be proud. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine pairing chats with Madu, Aime and Geeth. Chef Priantha and Yogi were very attentive to my daughter dessert and broccoli demands. Ranjith was extremely accommodating and before we asked our sheesha was ready. Each day, we were looked after with such kindness and attention that it truly felt effortless on your part—even though we know how much work goes on behind the scenes. Nothing was ever too much trouble; every request was met with a smile, and every detail was handled with such grace and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, Luthi and the whole team made us feel completely at home — their warmth and genuine care set the tone for the entire stay. Our Senior Water Villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully laid out, perched above the most breathtaking turquoise water. We loved how the resort blends right into its surroundings — luxurious without ever feeling over the top, and perfectly in tune with that relaxed “barefoot chic” vibe that makes you instantly unwind. The food was a highlight every day: fresh, full of flavour, and always beautifully presented. Whether we were having breakfast by the water or a quiet dinner under the stars, every meal felt special. We knew from the hundreds of positive reviews that this was going to be one of those holidays which stays with you for a long time and it did not disappoint. From the wonderful range of foods from around the world, cooked to perfection by the team of talented chefs and the very large wine selection on offer to the exceptional yet understated service from the most genuinely friendly staff we were cosseted through ten days of perfection. This hotel feels more like a village of happy locals than a chain of employees there to serve out of necessity and is a reflection of the management’s commitment to looking after their workforce - an almost obsolete yet remarkably fruitful approach which many businesses around the world could learn from. We chose Moofushi for its gastronomic reputation and through the ten days and nights were not bored or disenchanted with either the variety or quality of the ingredients or cooking and could happily have eaten at the main Manta restaurant every night although we did visit Alize on one occasion. The Indonesian chef who cooked on the BBQ very quickly appreciated and remembered how we liked our food cooked and his recommendations for accompaniments were always spot on. The sommeliers did a fine job of pairing the wine to the food ensuring the best gourmet experience possible. The executive assistant manager, Luthi made a point of catching up with as many guests as possible for a casual chat asking whether they were enjoying their stay and there was nothing that was too much trouble to ensure total satisfaction. The Bluetribe diving centre also matched this level of casual professionalism and commitment to safety and enjoyment, going out of their way to helping us achieve our individual ambitions as we re-discovered scuba and diving after decades away from the water. There are many hotels to choose from in the Maldives but if you want to experience top notch service without stuffiness, some of the best food and wine available and luxury with minimal ecological consequences this is the place for you.
