What a great experience! Our air conditioned beach villa was spacious and very comfortable with excellent housekeeping from Mohid. The food was consistently excellent whether eating at Totem Bar, in the Manta Restaurant or in the Alizee Restaurant. The sommeliers like Ko-Ko, Aime and Maeva always suggested just the right wines for our meals and Ko-Ko also led a great wine tasting event by the sea for some of the guests. All the bar staff were very professional and attentive so a special mention to Gopan and his team. Most days managers like Luthi or one his team came to say hello and to see how everything was going. We never had any issues but it was nice to know they were so available to all of the guests. We enjoyed our boat trips to see Manta Rays and Whale Sharks with Mauro and Vinita and also enjoyed some excellent snorkelling around Moofushi. I'm sure it won't be long until we return. Read less

Have just returned home from 10heavenly days at Moofushi. This is my 2nd time on the island and i really cannot fault it. I went with 3 newbies who have never experienced the awesomeness of a great maldives resort. All three were blown away at the professionalism of everybody. From the moment you arrive at the airport and get taken to the Constance lounge, to the last minute that the staff escort you to the checkin, you will be stressfree. I-have stayed in a water villa and this time a beach villa. Villa 4 was fabulous, infront of the no coral turquoise waters (villas 1-8 are fab), so are the sand villas. The sand villas had one house reef located right infront. Service is OUTSTANDING, the manager and all his staff deserve a 10/10. Food is sensational, and i never got tired of the buffet as it has a theme every evening. Villa cleaners are friendly and excellent. If i were to sell an allround island to someone interested in the Maldives I would recommend MOOFUSHI. I am an avid snorkeller and the house reef is the most important aspect of choosing a resort. This one is large , well preserved and you can access it from 3 places. CONSTANCE MOOFUSHI I LOVE YOU FOREVER. I miss it😥 Read less

I have just returned from a wonderful week at Constance Moofushi. I was the only person there on my own but met some other guests and the staff were very friendly and welcoming so it was fine. I was very happy with my Sand Villa (these are villas which were previously over the water but the sand has shifted). Perhaps the only down side was that the seaplanes landing outside woke me up at 7.20 am Moofushi time ( = 6.30 am Maldives time because they work an hour ahead) but in general I loved the seaplanes so I was prepared to let them off. Lovely sunset view. The only advantage of a more expensive water villa, as far as I could see, was that they had eagle rays and sharks swimming past. The distance to walk to the various facilities was considerable, however - and I am a fit, regular walker. Inconvenient to walk back to reception (about 10 mins, longer from water villas) if your room key card stopped working, which mine did 3 times before I worked out maybe my phone was deprogramming it. Tip: keep your room key card well away from your phone. The beaches and garden areas were very well kept. Snorkelling on the house reef (also conveniently outside my villa) was very good, with quite a bit of live coral for the Maldives (where much coral is bleached), many fish, sharks, barracuda, moray eel, turtles, octopus. It was quite difficult to get consistent advice on where to get in and out of the water for snorkelling, though, because the reef was in the area where there was a lot of boat and seaplane traffic and an intermittently strong current. The snorkelling map in the room shows entry from the jetty whereas that is actually too dangerous a place to go in. Better to go in from the enclosed lagoon by the spa. The resident marine biologist, Vinita, gave 3 very informative evening talks and does an introductory snorkelling tour of the house reef twice a week. Also very good were an evening talk on Maldivian culture and the Heart of House tour, which takes guests behind the scenes to see the very impressive 'green' facilities which are required to support luxurious life on a sand bank: water desalination/purification, electricity generation with heat exchange for hot water, food storage, rubbish recycling and sewage treatment creating compost. I had a delightful massage in the spa, taking advantage of the cheaper rate offered in the mornings. Two downsides: The main provision of breakfast, lunch and dinner was a buffet in the Manta restaurant. Breakfast was good but I am not keen on buffet food in general. There was plenty of quantity but I am more into small amounts of quality food. I chose to eat lunch in the Totem bar (included in AI package) and took 3 dinners (only one included in the AI package if you stay for 7 days and the other two pretty pricey). A good selection of wines by the bottle are included in AI and they have an extensive selection of others you can pay for. I was very happy with the wines. Second downside was that the two trips I took with the dive centre weren't a great success and I had trouble cancelling a third. Obviously the sea creatures are wild, so their presence can't be guaranteed, but I think the success rate in finding the targets of the boat trips (dolphins and mantas in my case) did not seem to be high compared to my previous experience in the Maldives. Maybe just chance. I had trouble trying to cancel the third (and very expensive) whale shark trip after the first two failed. However the reception staff helped me to sort that out. So, overall, I had a wonderful and very relaxing week - and the weather was much better than forecast! Read less

Incredible place in the South Ari Atoll. The perfect location for whale sharks, nurse sharks, mantas and amazing reefs. Staff was wonderful and always helpful. Dive center exceeded expectations with Mauro and Stefano being wonderful guides. Would not have had the same underwater viewing without them.

From the warmest of welcomes to the fond farewell, our holiday was as perfect as it could have been. Mevin, the General Manager goes out of his way to ensure you have the best experience and, ably supported by Luthi, his Deputy and the rest of the team, we really did. I cannot praise this beautiful resort highly enough from the warmth of the staff and their very high level of service to the food and drink and our lovely, spotless room maintained by Loob. The continuity of staff, many of whom we have known for years and who always greet as so warmly and by name, really does make us feel instantly at home. The diving at Blue Tribe is fantastic and we were lucky enough to see many mantas, though sadly just missed out on the whale sharks which arrived the day before we left. Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to make our holiday unforgettable with extra special thanks to Executive Chef Daniel. Read less
