Going to the Maldives was a bucket list trip for us and we found it to be mildly disappointing and unnecessary for our purposes. We traveled from the US and I think we were the only Americans at the resort. I now understand why. You can stay at an equally beautiful resort much closer to home, and we have- Tahiti, Fiji, Caribbean etc. The 24 hours of flight were brutal and the resort was not worth the trip. Staff was great, the room was great (thank you Sumit), loved the barefoot aspect. IMHO the food was pretty bad. definitely not to our tastes. You eat every meal at the buffet, unless you have reservations at the one fancy restaurant. If you stay a week one meal at this restaurant is included. Otherwise you pay extra. We tried to make reservations on the day we arrived (for 5 nights) but nothing was available until 9:00pm on any day and that's too late for us to eat a big meal. The wine served at the buffet dinner was very good and there were many choices. The service and the ambiance eating outdoors on the sand couldn't be beat. Keep in mind that you eat during specific hours at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No food is available outside of those hours except at one of the bars where there is a table with assorted pastries. The snorkeling wasn't at all impressive, a big disappointment. We even went on a manta ray snorkeling excursion and didn't see one ray, even though it was supposedly manta ray season. We have no desire to return. Read less

This was our 3rd trip to Moofushi and everything was just as perfect as our previous visits. The thing that attracts so many returning guests is the wonderful staff. Every single one is excellent from the person that greets you from the international flight, the staff in the Constance Lounge, the team that meet you from the seaplane and everyone that you interact with during your stay. It’s very hard to single out anyone as they’re all amazing but special thanks to Bobo who kept our villa spotless. Gopan is a star and how he remembers all the guest’s names is unbelievable. Thank you to Panco in the spa for a fabulous massage I still remember how relaxed I felt having been home a couple of weeks. Thanks to Mevin the General Manager who was always around chatting to guests asking if there was anything that could be improved, how do you improve perfection! The food is top quality and delicious. Great selection of wines recommended by the wonderful sommeliers. I see from a previous review that Mevin is moving on to another Constance property and I wish him all the very best. A big thank you to everyone for a wonderful holiday. Read less

The Constance Moofushi resort is simply stunning, it is Paradise The island is truly beautiful, the colours are amazing - white beaches, fantastic different hues of blue in the sea and a lush green interior The food & drink are to die for - far from typical All Inclusive fare - with beautiful tasty breakfasts, lunches & dinners (a different theme every day) and a team of sommeliers to advise on wine pairings! It's uber relaxed - no shoes! - and the resort completely delivers on the luxury Robinson Crusoe vibe There are lots of activities/tours, as much or as little as you want to do. Some are included in the AI package - don't miss the Lagoon wine tasting - and others chargeable; we especially enjoyed the "Cinefushi" experience, watching a film on our own under the stars on the beach after dinner The resort takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously and sustainability is at the heart of all it does - I'd recommend taking the "Heart of House" tour to see behind the scenes The house reef is brilliant, a great opportunity for novice snorkelers like us to see the beautiful fish up close And as previous reviewers have consistently commented, the staff are superb. It's a very big Team at Moofushi - I believe they outnumber the guests? - and without exception they are lovely. Evidently well trained, but they also have a genuine warmth and kindness that shines through We absolutely loved our holiday at Moofushi - thank you to everyone there for making it so memorable - and we will definitely plan to return Read less
