Beautiful place. Cant say enough about the view. Housekeeping staff were great! And Lucia at the spa gave me the best massage I’ve received in my 47 years of life! 🙌🏻 Would absolutely recommend. 🥰

We had a great time at Dreams Aventuras! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The resort location was beautiful. The grounds keepers do a wonderful job making sure the sargassum was off the beach. They are constantly cleaning and fixing chairs. They work so hard and it was much appreciated! Value was good. Our rooms were big and comfortable. The noise level was so so. We had ocean front views which over looked the pool. It gets VERY noisy during the day, which is to be expected, but it does shut down completely at 10:00. The views are worth it. Food was ok. Very americanized, not a lot of Mexican food options. I was hoping for more tacos, salsas, etc. The food wasn’t very flavorful. This is not a resort for party people. Family friendly and everything is shut down by 10:00. I loved this and was glad I went with this resort for that reason. They do have a club that’s open until 1:00 which was nice but small. Bartender there was great and very attentive. My biggest complaint is that they are doing some kind of remodeling on the 7th floor. It was so loud and went on throughout the day for 3 days. Impossible to relax or take a nap in your room until about 5:00-6:00 PM. I also want to shout out a few people—- Brenda at the Spa— She was FANTASTIC! The massage was phenomenal. She checked with me on pressure, spoke so softly and made sure I was comfortable. The most relaxing experience of my life. I can’t recommend her enough!! 10/10. Paulina at the Preferred Club Lounge— She was so kind and so helpful! Talking to her felt like talking to a friend. She is the perfect person for that job. 10/10. Teofila in Housekeeping— She is so sweet and my room looked perfect every day I chose to have it cleaned. When I saw her in the hall, she would check with me to make sure I didn’t want my room cleaned (I kept my DND door hanger on a lot), and made sure I was comfy! 10/10. Read less

Just arrived back from 7 days at this resort to celebrate a family member 50th birthday. I was travelling with toddler and teen. Recommend flying into Tullam Airport brand new very small and easy to navigate and has a play area in the airport departure area for littles which is amazing to pass the time waiting to board. Pros - Small resort so can find others easily, one main building. - 24 hour cafe in main lobby area for snacks with ice cream, hot chocolate, Soda, pretzels, sweet treats, salads, fruit cups, and fresh popcorn. Kids loved this. - In a gated community so can freely explore the little shops and authentic taco spots or rent a golf cart to see more. - quick walk to the shops, marina and right next to dolphin discovery so can walk and see the dolphins being trained and play fetch with them when they have balls in the water. Highlight for my kids also. - clean rooms and not the damp smell you often find in many resort rooms. - Kids Exploxer Club at no extra cost. Age 3 -12. Drop off is 9 am pick up is 5 pm. My little was too small but it looked like there was lots of activity. Preferred Club - we upgraded to preferred status which gave access to preferred club dinning at breakfast was quieter and offered bacon, eggs, toast and fruit a plenty. - gave 1 hour free at spa for hydrotherapy for 2 guests. - had separate pool and hot tub. I personally didn’t see the value unless you are not wanting to be around the action of the main pool during daytime events. - I didn’t experience personal service for food or drinks. - Highly recommend Gohan Japense restaurant and Portafino for beef fillet and lasagna. The Beach grill had good hamburger but no fries. - room service food quality was great. Cons - entertainment was lacking two nights of our stay there was no entertainment scheduled which makes the evening boring when there is only the lobby to sit in with and a couple tables. - housekeeping staff did not replenish our coffee or seem to go above and beyond even with extra tips left for them. - gift shop prices were outrageous. $12 USD for a snack size chocolate bar. - Buffet staff was inattentive and food just mediocre no bacon out unless you asked the person making eggs and then only two strips or crumbs given. - Kid buffet section was cute but the food options were inconsistent so for my picky eaters who loved the sausage it was only available twice in 7 days. - no fries ever on the buffet. Beach was very small and pebbly so you definitely need water shoes to venture in the water. It was shallow and calm because of the lagoon wall but we only spent a few hours there in a week not enough space to not be right on top of someone if it is busy. Water not clear reminded me more of our lakes. Overall this resort was clean with modern rooms but not a spot I would return again Not enough activity or variety in food for a week stay. 3-4 days would be sufficient. Read less
