Overlooking a beautiful stretch of ocean in the small town of Puerto Morelos, 30 minutes from Cancun, Playa del Carmen and many other of the Mayan Riviera’s most sought after sights. Transfer time from airport: 20 minutes.

Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old), subject to change. Our recent nine-day stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun was nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in a beautiful family suite that provided plenty of space for all five of us to relax comfortably. The kids' club was a huge hit; my two older daughters were in and out all week and absolutely loved the staff. While we enjoyed eating at the various pop-ups poolside and along the beach, Seaside Grill and Oceana quickly became our favorite spots for family dinners. We spent every single day enjoying our cabana by the pool. A huge thank you to Erik, the pool area supervisor, who was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. We also want to give a special shout-out to Uzzy from the entertainment team. He showed so much care and kindness toward our children, playing with them and making their trip truly memorable. The Easter-themed activities were a wonderful touch that made the holiday feel extra special. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return! Read less

The rooms were comfortable but clearly need updating having not changed since we were first here 14 years ago. The quality of food and choice of restaurants are amazing. The cocktails selection is fantastic and the staff work tirelessly. The constant need to tip is tiresome. The entertainment team are fantastic and both the daytime and evening entertainment schedules are brilliant. Oliver, Edwin, Vivi and Jonathon scored 10/10 for their attentiveness and devotion to keeping everyone entertained. The only downside is that up to three weddings are taking place daily and all the upheaval that causes with the constant setting up of different wedding ceremony and reception areas. Read less

All the staffs are very friendly and take their time or go out of their way to ensure what we needed will be met. The pool concierge Erik Ramirez provided an exceptional services either by the beach or the pool. Another person I need to mentioned is Gabriel Santa maria Z. He knew everything that happened in the resort and he made sure that things will be taking care correctly. There are at least 2 weddings per day in the week I stayed. Went here for my wedding. I loved my stay; it was amazing with my friends and family and small children. The wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was exceptional, service all-around was exceptional except for some minor issues at our room, for example, not being provided robes or a "do not disturb" sign in our upgraded honeymoon suite (we reached out for one 3 times during our stay and still did not recieve one). I do not recommend preferred though, it's not worth it to us. However, I really can't complain, overall, I do recommend staying at this resort, I really didn't sweat the small stuff. The preferred sections to me weren't exactly "exclusive," they would only check here and there if you were preferred in the preferred area, I think that it needs to be enforced more. I could have had the same experience if I weren't a preferred member - I don't mind getting my own drinks and sitting on the other side of the beach. whatever! Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this resort, the SPA is also AMAZE!!! Do the spa. We did 50min massage and a body exfoliant, plus the hydrotherapy. Read less
