Located on a private 7-hectare island, the Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa has finally opened up its doors and is ready to welcome you. Featuring beach and overwater villas, five restaurants, two bars, luxury spa, water sports and kids club there's experiences here for everyone. And whether you're travelling in a couple or as a family the Deluxe All-Inclusive package covers every aspect of your hideaway holiday so, there’s nothing more for you do to except sit back, relax, and soak up some sunshine. Or for the more adventurous, why not grab a snorkel and explore the local house reef – directly from your Superior Water Villa! Heaven.

Where is it

In the Raa Atoll, this 20-hectare island is surrounded by 1.5km of soft sand. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

80 Beach and Overwater villas. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, iPod docking station, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities and daily refreshed mini-bar. Beach Villas have an open-air bathroom and private furnished patio with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.


Deluxe All-Inclusive includes: breakfast (at Aqua), lunch (at Aqua and Beach Club Grill), and dinner (at Aqua, Beach Club Grill, Carnivorous, Mediterraneo and La Asiatique). Selected premium branded drinks, including spirits, international beers, international wines, cocktails and signature drinks, plus soft drinks including in-house mineral water. In-room stocked minibar with snacks, a selection of wine, soft drinks, beer, water,
tea and coffee. Non-motorized water sport activities (private lessons available at extra charge). Snorkeling equipment: mask, snorkel and fins. Guided group snorkeling (30 minutes, twice a week -subject to weather conditions).Complimentary Padel and Tennis during the day

Excursions (subject to weather conditions):

Ideal for families the Family Beach Villa with Pool have a separate twin bedroom, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a patio over the sea plus a private infinity pool with direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a private covered patio with lounge furniture, private infinity pool, and direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults

Superior Water Villas with Pool are located at the end of jetty, and have a private infinity pool, patio over the sea, lounge area, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

We’ve just returned from the most incredible stay at Emerald Faarafushi Resort & Spa and honestly, it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived at Male airport, everything was seamless. The setting is absolutely breathtaking with crystal clear waters and powder white sand. Our beach villa with pool was stunning, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and with the most amazing views. What truly sets this resort apart is the service. Every member of staff was fantastic, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A very special mention has to go to Fayidhu, who looked after our villa. It was always immaculate, and his artistic designs he left on the bed few times were fabulous. Also Sajanie, one of the waitresses, who was absolutely wonderful, so friendly, attentive, and always made us feel so welcome. Last but not least, Igga, our villa host. He was so friendly, super helpful and made us feel completely cared for from start to finish. Another standout was how incredible the team were with our daughter’s allergies. They went above and beyond to make sure she was safe and included, often preparing her own meals so she could enjoy the experience just as much as the rest of us. That level of care meant the world to us as a family. The food was another highlight with incredible variety and quality across all restaurants. Every meal felt like a treat, and the allinclusive offering is one of the best we’ve experienced. We also really appreciated the daily interaction with the resort management team. It made such a difference seeing how present and engaged they were with guests, always checking in and ensuring everything was perfect.
