Featuring beach and overwater villas, five restaurants, two bars, luxury spa, water sports and kids club there's experiences here for everyone. And whether you're travelling in a couple or as a family the Deluxe All-Inclusive package covers every aspect of your hideaway holiday so, there’s nothing more for you do to except sit back, relax, and soak up some sunshine. Where is it

In the Raa Atoll, this 20-hectare island is surrounded by 1.5km of soft sand. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

80 Beach and Overwater villas. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, iPod docking station, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities and daily refreshed mini-bar. Beach Villas have an open-air bathroom and private furnished patio with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.


Deluxe All-Inclusive includes: breakfast (at Aqua), lunch (at Aqua and Beach Club Grill), and dinner (at Aqua, Beach Club Grill, Carnivorous, Mediterraneo and La Asiatique). Selected premium branded drinks, including spirits, international beers, international wines, cocktails and signature drinks, plus soft drinks including in-house mineral water. In-room stocked minibar with snacks, a selection of wine, soft drinks, beer, water,
tea and coffee. Non-motorized water sport activities (private lessons available at extra charge). Snorkeling equipment: mask, snorkel and fins. Guided group snorkeling (30 minutes, twice a week -subject to weather conditions).Complimentary Padel and Tennis during the day

• 1 excursion per stay for a minimum 7-night stay

• 2 excursions per stay for a minimum 10-night stay


Guests in ALL VILLA CATEGORIES enjoy full access to all restaurants and bars throughout the resort as part of the Deluxe All-Inclusive Oasis Plan. A selection of premium menu items is also available at an additional charge.

Beach Villas with Pool have a front-row access to Faaruhushi’s white-sand beach, and a private covered patio with lounge furniture, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Ideal for families the Family Beach Villa with Pool have a separate twin bedroom, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a patio over the sea plus a private infinity pool with direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a private covered patio with lounge furniture, private infinity pool, and direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults

Superior Water Villas with Pool are located at the end of jetty, and have a private infinity pool, patio over the sea, lounge area, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

We enjoyed a magical 9 night stay at the Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa, having stayed here two years ago, we were delighted to return. This time with a party of 7, we were welcomed back as if we were members of the family and could not have been better looked after. Whether it was helping one of our party with mobility issues to get around the island, organising a special dinner for a wedding anniversary or arranging special events, nothing was too much trouble for the team. We were personally taken care of incredibly well by our villa host, Elite (who took care of the logistics of arranging things for seven people with a smile); the sommelier Joseph, who helped us navigate the extensive inclusive wine list as well as encouraging us to try a couple of very special bottles; and, Mr Rao, the resort manager who is leading a great team, but also involved himself in enough of the detail to make sure things ran smoothly. The resort, the food, the chefs, the staff, the spa, the bedrooms and the sea are all out of this world. We all had a fantastic trip, an exceptionally relaxing time and we were sad to leave. Already planning a return next year, it was that good! We unreservedly recommend this resort. Read less

I spent four wonderful days at Emerald Faarufushi Resort. This tiny island is absolutely stunning, with powdery white beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters perfect for photos. The accommodation is comfortable and private, offering stunning sea views right outside. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the dining options are varied and delicious. I enjoyed relaxing on the beach, snorkeling and simply slowing down. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this trip was incredibly relaxing and memorable.
