Located on a private 7-hectare island, the Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa has finally opened up its doors and is ready to welcome you. Featuring beach and overwater villas, five restaurants, two bars, luxury spa, water sports and kids club there's experiences here for everyone. And whether you're travelling in a couple or as a family the Deluxe All-Inclusive package covers every aspect of your hideaway holiday so, there’s nothing more for you do to except sit back, relax, and soak up some sunshine. Where is it

In the Raa Atoll, this 20-hectare island is surrounded by 1.5km of soft sand. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

80 Beach and Overwater villas. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, iPod docking station, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities and daily refreshed mini-bar. Beach Villas have an open-air bathroom and private furnished patio with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.


Deluxe All-Inclusive includes: breakfast (at Aqua), lunch (at Aqua and Beach Club Grill), and dinner (at Aqua, Beach Club Grill, Carnivorous, Mediterraneo and La Asiatique). Selected premium branded drinks, including spirits, international beers, international wines, cocktails and signature drinks, plus soft drinks including in-house mineral water. In-room stocked minibar with snacks, a selection of wine, soft drinks, beer, water,
tea and coffee. Non-motorized water sport activities (private lessons available at extra charge). Snorkeling equipment: mask, snorkel and fins. Guided group snorkeling (30 minutes, twice a week -subject to weather conditions).Complimentary Padel and Tennis during the day

Ideal for families the Family Beach Villa with Pool have a separate twin bedroom, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a patio over the sea plus a private infinity pool with direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a private covered patio with lounge furniture, private infinity pool, and direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults

Superior Water Villas with Pool are located at the end of jetty, and have a private infinity pool, patio over the sea, lounge area, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

I absolutely love this island! The food is delicious, the scenery is stunning, and I saw so many fish while snorkeling. Our butler APEKCHA was amazing and helped us out a great deal!

What a fantastic trip we had again with Angelfish Travel, we can't recommend them enough fro all your Maldives needs and have passed on your details to a few people in this resort again We both agreed we had an even better time on our second visit to Emerald Faarufushi and there will most definitely be a third, hopefully later or early next year. The island is just a perfect balance of what we love about the Maldives and have visited a couple of other islands and this is just the best all round for us! Diving was fantastic again, so much so we did 14 dives each in 12 days! The corals are great and so much fish life, sadly no Mantas but lots of Eagle Rays, turtles, sharks and so much more, and all lead brilliantly by Vlad and the team at the dive centre, we cant wait to return and blow some more bubbles and do that scooter course hopefully! The restaurants are just superb with great choice of food and drink to suit every palette, there are too many staff there that all give fabulous service so thanks to all of them, but our villa host Elite was again superb and dealt with every request in seconds! Mario the head chef again superb and made us some special Italian food on a few occasions, some of the best we have eaten, he has a true passion for his role, as does Joseph the head sommelier, watch out or he will have you glass filled before you know it and with some really quality wines!! The room guys as well top class, could ask for more, keeping our fridge stocked with alcohol free beer as well was a special gesture! We had an incredible stay at Faarufushi Maldives! The scenery is stunning and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A huge thank you to Apekcha for her exceptional service and warm hospitality throughout our trip. Everything from the dining to the accommodation was top-notch. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!
