A Perfect Honeymoon

We had the most amazing time, truly a perfect honeymoon from start to finish. Our stay at Emerald exceeded every expectation, and we haven’t stopped talking about it since returning home. The service was impeccable throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was warm, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. A special mention must go to our villa host, Tharif, who was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly approachable, thoughtful, and always checked in to make sure everything was perfect for us. He played a huge part in making our honeymoon so special. The activities available made this trip truly once in a lifetime. The Dive Centre team were exceptional, Tofsir and Thas in particular went out of their way to make our snorkelling and scuba diving experiences unforgettable. They even filmed footage for us and made sure we didn’t miss any of the incredible marine life. We would highly recommend the sunset snorkel, manta ray excursion, and intro scuba dive to anyone visiting. The spa was another highlight, our massages were absolutely wonderful and a perfect way to relax and unwind. As someone who is coeliac/gluten-free, I cannot praise the resort enough for their incredible level of care and attention. Every restaurant was fully aware, and I was consistently provided with gluten-free bread, pastries, pancakes, pizzas, and more. The chefs were so accommodating and happy to adapt dishes, which made dining completely stress-free. We’d like to give special thanks to Donny and Prahir at Aqua, who were fantastic, and Sajane, who truly stood out. She went above and beyond to ensure I was fully catered for and even remembered our preferences, such a personal touch that meant so much to us. Service across all restaurants was outstanding. Aliya, Virendra, and Miusam at Aqua were all brilliant, as were Rakshit and Koyena at The Beach Club, and Prashant at Asiatique. The bar staff were equally fantastic, always welcoming and friendly. A special thank you to Akash at the pool bar, who made our days by the pool even more enjoyable. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. A truly unique experience! As soon as you arrive, you’re immediately immersed in an earthly paradise of sea, sand, fish, and nature. Little by little, you discover the magic of an island that feels like a gentle caress. At mealtime, where Italian flavors are perfectly blended with the archipelago’s bounty, you can choose from five excellent restaurants, each with its own character. There’s no shortage of activities, both in the water (snorkeling, diving, kayaking, SUP, sailing, jet skis...) and on land (tennis, paddle tennis, gym, yoga, pool...). The spa is splendid, perfect for massages and relaxation. The provided bicycles are a delight, allowing you to move about freely. The staff is always helpful, and the atmosphere is friendly yet respectful of privacy. The Eclipse Bar, nestled on the reef, is a dream! We’ll be back! Read less

A Perfect Destination For Honeymoon!

We researched the Maldives’ resorts for a week and chose Emerald Faarufushi. And we didn't regret our decision for a second! We arrived early in the morning, and the check‑in process was effortless, so we could start enjoying the island right away. Both our sunrise and sunset water villas were beautifully designed, offering incredible views. The house reef is stunning, with fish visible everywhere. We see sharks, turtles, and even dolphins there. We have also done two scuba dive trips with the resorts, and our dive guide, Thas, is super professional! He tried his best to find us some special sealife. The all‑inclusive part here is on another level. Every restaurant we tried offered high‑quality, varied cuisine, from relaxed buffet meals at Aqua to memorable dinners at the Asian teppanyaki and the over‑water Mediterraneo. We were well taken care of by all the restaurant staff, which made each meal feel special. We did a private sankbank picnic with the resorts, and the experience was just incredible. The 4 hours in the sandbank feel like we are the only couple in the Maldives. It is truly a unique experience, and rest assured, the resort has prepared plenty of food and drinks. Special thanks to our host, Apekcha, for taking care of us throughout our stay. She tried her best to accommodate our every request, and we appreciate all the little surprises she prepared for us. Our honeymoon would not have been as perfect without her. Also, thanks to Thas, Hening, Joseph, Sean, Erzhan, Ram, Akash, Pebti, Priscilla and all other staff offering top-notch service. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made it so memorable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Emerald Faarufushi to any couple looking for a romantic, intimate, and sincerely caring Maldivian escape, and we hope to return in the future. Beautiful resort, Beautiful People, Amazing food and drink!

This is certainly one of the best luxury five star resorts we have stayed in. My wife and I booked a Sunset Water Villa to celebrate our anniversary. This was our second time at the resort and we found it even better than the first. Firstly, the room is stunning a decent size with plenty of wardrobe space, a plunge pool and wonderful views. From the moment we stepped off the plane our host Apekcha went out of her way to accommodate our every whim. Nothing was too much for her. She booked all the restaurants, recommended activities and even decorated our room for our anniversary. And the service, generally throughout the hotel was impeccable from housekeeping, to the restaurants and bars. We were on the all inclusive package which is one of the best we have experienced and we ate mostly in a la carte restaurants. From standard favourites like fish and chips, burger and pizza to fois gras, beef tenderloin, lobster bisque, seafood pasta and one of the best mushroom risotto's we have ever had, the food was incredible and the executive Chef Moreno must be lauded for the way he creates such high quality menus while dealing with the logistics of being on an island. The signature cocktails were fabulous with a good range of spirits. A special mention to Sean the Sommelier who was brilliant and enhanced our experience further by recommending some really good wines. And all of this part of the all inclusive package! We also have to mention our special anniversary dinner where Chef Jibin prepared the most delicious Indian Tasting Menu just for us. And finally, thanks to Prasanth who looked after us in the Asian and Beach restaurants. We were honestly treated like royalty but it wasn't just us. The other guests who we spoke to had similar experiences. We had a couples massage in the Spa which was great and should also mention the snorkelling which was fantastic as the island has its own reef (we saw stingrays, reef sharks, turtles, dolphins and loads of interesting fish) . We will definitely be looking to make it 3 times next year! An absolutely wonderful experience. Read less
