Beautiful resort, Beautiful People, Amazing food and drink!

This is certainly one of the best luxury five star resorts we have stayed in. My wife and I booked a Sunset Water Villa to celebrate our anniversary. This was our second time at the resort and we found it even better than the first. Firstly, the room is stunning a decent size with plenty of wardrobe space, a plunge pool and wonderful views. From the moment we stepped off the plane our host Apekcha went out of her way to accommodate our every whim. Nothing was too much for her. She booked all the restaurants, recommended activities and even decorated our room for our anniversary. And the service, generally throughout the hotel was impeccable from housekeeping, to the restaurants and bars. We were on the all inclusive package which is one of the best we have experienced and we ate mostly in a la carte restaurants. From standard favourites like fish and chips, burger and pizza to fois gras, beef tenderloin, lobster bisque, seafood pasta and one of the best mushroom risotto's we have ever had, the food was incredible and the executive Chef Moreno must be lauded for the way he creates such high quality menus while dealing with the logistics of being on an island. The signature cocktails were fabulous with a good range of spirits. A special mention to Sean the Sommelier who was brilliant and enhanced our experience further by recommending some really good wines. And all of this part of the all inclusive package! We also have to mention our special anniversary dinner where Chef Jibin prepared the most delicious Indian Tasting Menu just for us. And finally, thanks to Prasanth who looked after us in the Asian and Beach restaurants. We were honestly treated like royalty but it wasn't just us. The other guests who we spoke to had similar experiences. We had a couples massage in the Spa which was great and should also mention the snorkelling which was fantastic as the island has its own reef (we saw stingrays, reef sharks, turtles, dolphins and loads of interesting fish) . We will definitely be looking to make it 3 times next year! An absolutely wonderful experience. Read less

Our stay at Faarufushi was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is truly special. Every single staff member - from the attentive cleaning team to our incredible villa host Kumar - went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The yoga instructor, waiters, and bartenders all brought such warmth and genuine hospitality that you could feel the positive energy everywhere on the island. What really stood out was how observant and thoughtful everyone was. It felt like our needs were anticipated before we even realized them ourselves - a level of service that is rare and unforgettable. We also had the most amazing experiences with the diving center. From expertly guided excursions to an unforgettable private tour, every outing was exceptional. Seeing dolphins, manta rays, and turtles up close was simply breathtaking. One of the biggest highlights, though, was the incredible underwater life right at our villa. We spent hours snorkeling every single day, completely mesmerized. Eagle rays, sharks, and countless colorful fish swam right past us - it felt like having a private aquarium at our doorstep. Faarufushi isn’t just a beautiful destination - it’s a place filled with heart, soul, and unforgettable moments. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Read less

Our stay at Faarufushi was nothing short of extraordinary — truly a five-star experience in every sense. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. Every single member of staff played a part in making our stay unforgettable. The cleaning team kept our villa immaculate with such attention to detail, always working quietly and thoughtfully around our schedule. Our villa host, Kumar, was exceptional — always available, incredibly kind, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. The experience extended beautifully across the entire resort. The yoga instructor brought a sense of calm and balance to our mornings, while the waiters and bartenders made every meal and drink feel special with their friendliness, attentiveness, and personal touches. It truly felt like everyone knew exactly what we needed before we even asked. The excursions were another highlight. The diving center team was fantastic, guiding us through unforgettable experiences, and our private tour was simply incredible. Seeing dolphins, manta rays, and turtles up close in their natural environment is something we will never forget — it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. What really sets Faarufushi apart is the people. There is such a strong sense of positivity and good energy throughout the resort, and you can genuinely feel how much the staff care about what they do. Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa…10 days in paradise…staying in lovely water villas…Kumar our villahost made our holiday amazing from day one…the nice always smiling crew spoiled us at the spa/yogaclass(sunrise and sunset), restaurants and the sunset cocktail bar…were we enjoyed the calm and beautiful sunset… Our stomachs was spoiled every day with a wonderful breakfast buffet and food during the day…the Italian Chef was amazing and very creative…nothing as a great Italian cuisine!🤩 On top on our list we experienced a private boat trip snorkeling with turtles, Manta Rey’s …and dolphins jumping around the boat on our way back..! The housereef on the Island was rich and full of colorful fish…we saw sharks and sting reys as well while snorkeling here…The diving center was very helpful…Miru told us in a fascinating way about the underwater life and were and when we should look for the beauty under water… Our family loves padel and tennis…perfect location!!! Absolute Paradise

Emerald Faarufushi is the ultimate barefoot luxe destination. I traveled with my mother and we loved every minute of our two week stay. Daria, our villa host, was an absolute superstar, she arranged our dining reservations and responded to our requests promptly. We loved her daily check ins with us and her buggy rides. All of the dining venues are top notch, we were spoilt for choice. The highlights for us were Italian themed night, Teppanyaki and Mediterraneo. Try them all at least once! The staff in all the restaurants were amazing, offering friendly, attentive service. Special thanks to Sajanie (in Aqua) for being so kind and caring, helping my Mum at the buffet. Huge thanks also to Joseph and Ram, not only were they fantastic sommeliers, they also took great care of my Mum and ensured our wine glasses were never empty! We stayed in an overwater villa which was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The snorkeling in front of the villa was superb, I also enjoyed daily bike rides to snorkel at the house reef which is spectacular. The water is so clear that we spotted lots of marine life whilst walking along the jetty, stingrays, baby reef sharks and lots of colourful fish. Our stay at Emerald Faarufushi was absolutely magical and we can’t wait to return in the future. Read less
