Where is it

In the Raa Atoll, this 20-hectare island is surrounded by 1.5km of soft sand. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

80 Beach and Overwater villas. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, iPod docking station, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities and daily refreshed mini-bar. Beach Villas have an open-air bathroom and private furnished patio with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.


Deluxe All-Inclusive includes: breakfast (at Aqua), lunch (at Aqua and Beach Club Grill), and dinner (at Aqua, Beach Club Grill, Carnivorous, Mediterraneo and La Asiatique). Selected premium branded drinks, including spirits, international beers, international wines, cocktails and signature drinks, plus soft drinks including in-house mineral water. In-room stocked minibar with snacks, a selection of wine, soft drinks, beer, water,
tea and coffee. Non-motorized water sport activities (private lessons available at extra charge). Snorkeling equipment: mask, snorkel and fins. Guided group snorkeling (30 minutes, twice a week -subject to weather conditions).Complimentary Padel and Tennis during the day

Ideal for families the Family Beach Villa with Pool have a separate twin bedroom, as well as 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a patio over the sea plus a private infinity pool with direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Water Villas with Pool are located along Faarufushi’s jetty, and feature a private covered patio with lounge furniture, private infinity pool, and direct access to the water, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults

Superior Water Villas with Pool are located at the end of jetty, and have a private infinity pool, patio over the sea, lounge area, bedroom with walk-in closet, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

We had an amazing family trip at Emerald Faarufushi in June, including my 60-year-old parent, and it was perfect. The all-inclusive plan made everything stress-free—great food, endless drinks, no hidden costs. Staff were so friendly and attentive (especially Apekcha and Alan). Our overwater villa was spacious, and had unreal ocean views.

A Truly Exceptional Maldivian Experience From the moment we arrived in Malé, the experience at Emerald Faarufushi was outstanding. A representative was already waiting for us, guiding us through the seaplane process and taking care of the check-in formalities. We then relaxed in the comfortable Coral Business Lounge before enjoying a spectacular scenic seaplane flight to the resort. The welcome on the island was unforgettable. We were greeted with traditional drums, escorted along the jetty, and offered a refreshing welcome drink. It immediately felt special. Our Water Villa with Pool exceeded all expectations. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the crystal-clear lagoon. We loved having direct access to the water, and one of our favorite moments was watching small reef sharks swim past our deck every day. The all-inclusive concept is one of the best we have experienced. It truly includes everything you would expect and more. The minibar is replenished daily with drinks, snacks, and treats, while freshly squeezed juices are available throughout the resort. The main restaurant offers an excellent buffet, and there are several à la carte restaurants available for both lunch and dinner. Reservations are easy to arrange, and the food quality was consistently excellent. The spa offers very reasonably priced treatments, and depending on the length of your stay, complimentary excursions are included as well. What really sets Emerald Faarufushi apart is the people. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, attentive, and friendly. The General Manager is doing a fantastic job, and you can truly feel the heart and soul of the resort throughout the island. Unlike many artificial resort islands, Faarufushi feels natural, authentic, and beautifully integrated into its surroundings. Another thoughtful touch was that bicycles for both adults and children were already waiting at our villa upon arrival. Throughout our stay, everything felt perfectly prepared, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every moment. In the evenings, there is a little entertainment for those who want it, while guests seeking peace and quiet can enjoy complete tranquility. It is the perfect balance—everything is available, but nothing is forced. Emerald Faarufushi delivered an unforgettable holiday experience, combining luxury, outstanding service, exceptional dining, and a relaxed atmosphere.
