In the Raa Atoll, this 20-hectare island is surrounded by 1.5km of soft sand. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).Hotel information

The rooms in the resort were fantastic. As soon as you opened the balcony door, you could see the sea. The weather was great during our stay. The rooms in the resort were fantastic. As soon as you opened the balcony door, you could see the sea. The weather was great during our stay. We could see small sharks and manta rays in the lagoon right below our rooms. The food in the restaurants was excellent. We tried six different restaurants and each one had its own surprises. The drinks were also great. We tried several wines and they were all good. Our butler, Tharif, was also wonderful. When my friend had an asthma attack, he quickly found a doctor and arranged everything properly for us.

The ocean here is incredibly clear, and there are plenty of great snorkeling spots. The underwater environment is well preserved, and we were lucky enough to see a baby shark, a manta ray, and a sea turtle.

The ocean here is incredibly clear, and there are plenty of great snorkeling spots. The underwater environment is well preserved, and we were lucky enough to see a baby shark, a manta ray, and a sea turtle.
For accommodation, we stayed two nights in a Water Villa and two nights in a Beach Villa—each had its own unique charm. The only downside was that the Beach Villa tended to bring sand inside: sand stuck to our shoes at the entrance and ended up leaving a trail all the way to the bathroom.
Dining options on the island are also very diverse. During our five days and four nights, we were able to try different restaurants and meals without repeating. The mocktails are fantastic too—honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
A special thanks to our butler, Thariff—he was incredibly friendly and responsible, and made everything much easier for us, especially when booking activities and arranging the room change.
One more tip: if you’re prone to sunburn, make sure to take sun protection seriously. On sunny days in April, the temperature can go above 30∘C30^circ ext{C}30∘C and the sun is extremely strong.
