Beach Studios are 46sqm, and have a private terrace with direct beach access, ocean views, sun loungers, indoor and outdoor showers, and either 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, or 2 twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Silver Family Suites (Duplex) are 107sqm, and have a private terrace with direct beach access, ocean views, indoor and outdoor showers. The ground floor features a master bedroom with king-size bed and sofa bed, with a second bedroom on the upper floor with bunk beds, with a bathroom on both floors, sleeping maximum 6 people, with a maximum of 4 adults.

Gold Beach Villas are 65sqm, and have a private terrace with direct beach access, ocean views, sun loungers, 55” TV, waterfall shower, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 people with a maximum of 3 adults.

Gold Beach Pool Villas are 90sqm, with direct beach access from the private terrace as well as a private plunge pool, sun loungers, 55" TV, en suite with bathtub, and 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 people with a maximum of 3 adults.

Diamond Overwater Pool Villas are 76sqm, and sit over the water with an infinity pool, private terrace, direct lagoon access, sun loungers, 55” TV, en suite with bathtub and rain shower, and either 1 king-size or 2 twin beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping a maximum of 3 adults.

Platinum Overwater Villas are 75sqm, and sit over the water with a private terrace, direct lagoon access, sun loungers, 55” TV, en suite with bathtub and shower, and either 1 king-size or 2 twin beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 people with a maximum of 3 adults.

Platinum Overwater Pool Villas are 76sqm, and sit over the water with an infinity pool, private terrace, direct lagoon access, sun loungers, 55” TV, en suite with shower, and either 1 king-size or 2 twin beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Rock Royalty Overwater Pool Villas** (2 bedroom) are 144sqm, and sit over the water with an infinity pool, private outdoor lounge area, direct lagoon access, sun loungers, indoor chill out zone with dining table and pantry with fridge and welcome amenities, 2 smart TVs, bathtub and rain shower, and 2 bedrooms (one with 1 king-size bed, and one with 2 twin beds), sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Rock Star Villa** (1 bedroom) is 445sqm, and sit over the water with an infinity pool, private boat docking access, private butler, large outdoor living deck with direct lagoon access, sun loungers, outdoor dining space, overwater relaxing net, tuk-tuk bar, jukebox, service pantry, spacious indoor living room, 86” TV, tuk tuk bar, indoor dining area, en suite bathroom with bathtub and waterfall shower, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Fantastic hotel. Communication prior to arriving was great. They delivered a guitar and amp to our rooms for the duration of your stay (I'm a touring musician and needed to practice), they added some delightful touches (decorated the room and provided fizz and fruit in the room) as it was our honeymoon. We were met at the airport and walked to the airport jetty and then fast speed boat onto the hotel. Very quick and efficient which is exactly what we wanted after a ten hour flight. Our Silver Beach Room for the first five nights was bright, large and very comfortable and looked straight out onto the beach. Gorgeous. For the next five nights, we upgraded to a Diamond Overwater Villa. Fantastic. Our own verandah, private pool (which was like a hot bath) and steps down into the ocean. The Diamond Villas have uninterrupted infinity views whereas some of the others face Male which is only 20 minutes ride by fast speedboat. A bit extra but you really do feel you are living the dream. Then onto the hotel itself. For us, it was just the right blend of beautiful Maldivian getaway from it all (our first room, which was a Silver Beach Studio) led onto a quiet, beautiful white sand beach (with shallow, warm, turquoise sea). The beach was deserted - in four days, there was one other couple on 'our beach'. The Overwater Villa really was exclusive. Or we could walk for 7 - 10 minutes to the pool and restaurant area (Elephant & Butterfly / Sessions) which was buzzing with live music and exercise classes in the pool if we wanted activity. The islands themself are apparently man made - although you wouldn't know it and I have no idea how you make an island (with beautiful white sand beaches and lush vegetation) look so realistic! Our Overwater Villa was a 10 minute walk to the pool / Hard Rock Hotel restaurants / reception. Or you could just pick up and use free bikes which were scattered around the property Or you just summoned a golf buggy, which came within 15 minutes and transported you wherever you wanted to go - be it on the Hard Rock island, Crossroads Marina (which was connected via a causeway) or to Sai Lagoon (which was connected via another causeway. One of the great things is that if you are all inclusive (which we were), you can use (virtually) any of the restaurants on any of these three connected islands. So it feels less like Groundhog Day because you can select which restaurant you want to eat at each evening. We had no problem at all in booking tables at any of the restaurants at short notice. The food was invariably really good - curry, Chinese, Thai, steak, seafood (especially great). It would be quite expensive if you were not on a meal plan. Of course, the Hard Rock Cafe (which is located on Crossroads Marina) was our go to restaurant. There is live music every night (the house band Deviate, were brilliant) and played a wide variety of music. They are fantastic musicians (Bien, Danny, Carla, Renaldo and Ozzy) and absolutely rocked. They made a big difference yo our enjoyment of our holiday. Any negatives? Not really. It was pretty much a 10/10 for us. If I wanted to be picky, drinks service was a bit hit and miss at times when they were very busy, but we had some fantastic waiters (Made, Razaan were especially great) and our room guy worked really hard to check we had everything we needed (shout out to Prabbath). Also, this is a muslim country so no bacon at breakfast and no ribs in the Hard Rock Cafe! Very highly recommended. We will definitely return. Read less

Hard Rock maldives is a beautifuly pictures resort with spaces to cater for all ages...The hotel representatives give you a really warm welcome on your arrival. We were fortunate to have a lovely lady called 'Omy' as ours, and she went out of her way to make our stay an amazing one... She went above and beyond in every sense doing a thorough tour of the island and it's amenities and facilities... she even made resturant reservations for our family and organised a cake for my little girls birthday on her day off.. Can't thank her enough for making our stay so great.🙏 Will definitely be going back at some point next year. Read less

Great stay

We have come to celebrate my birthday in the Maldives for 4 nights. Due to the current ongoing situation in the Middle East, we had to re-schedule our flights multiple times. Hotel has been very accommodating and kept rescheduling our pick up time from the airport. In the end we arrived super early (5am) and to our surprise we were able to check in and get some sleep in the hotel room. The hotel has some good options for food, on both sides of the bridge. We dined in all All Inclusive restaurants and one of the paid-for extra one (Carne Diem). Overall the food selection is pretty decent. Drinks served are good also, and the staff will make you something special if you don’t like any of the options available. They do serve premium spirits also (Absolut, Gordon’s etc). Now, the highlight of the hotel is the entertainment. As you can imagine it is very music focussed. The on-site singer (Hera) is a real gem and has an amazing voice, vibe and array of songs she can sing. We were actively looking for venues / restaurants in which she was singing as we were so impressed with her talent. We also did one aerial session with Pensi. She is so sweet and welcoming to people of all levels of fitness. Made us feel at ease and kept an eye on us to make sure we don’t injure ourselves. We were so sad to leave this hotel after our short stay, but we will definitely come back as soon as we can! Read less

We have just concluded an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful, well-organized, and vibrant environment where every detail is thoughtfully designed. The resort itself is stunning: crystal-clear waters, immaculate beaches, stylish and comfortable rooms, and a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch, the food was consistently excellent with a great variety of options, and every space was perfectly maintained. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or exploring the island, everything felt seamless and special. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional level of service. A very special thank you to Omy for the warm and friendly welcome, making us feel at home from the very beginning. And a heartfelt thank you to Nassem, who took care of us every single day with outstanding attention, professionalism, and genuine kindness. His dedication and positive attitude made our experience even more enjoyable and personal. It’s rare to find a place where everything comes together so perfectly: location, service, atmosphere, and people. We leave with beautiful memories and couldn’t be happier with our choice.
