Perfect location for Yas Island

Stayed here for 3 nights in an Executive room ( 7061) which gives access to the Executive lounge. Lovely room with great views of Yas Marina. Spotlessly clean, has everything you need with plenty space to store your clothes. The lounge is fantastic. Yvonne is so friendly always interested in your stay and just makes you so welcome. My only criticism is that they allow children, whose parents think it is acceptable to let them run around and cause havoc. Osmo bar is lovely in the evening to sit outside for a drink. The pool is great with lots of sun loungers and staff are plenty. However it is surrounded by lots of palm trees so if you are looking to sunbathe you constantly need to move. So we used the beach Club Cafe del Mar. Perfect location, with infinity pool. However it is not actually owned by the hotel, so you cannot sign anything to your room. We also found some of the staff to be quite rude and aloof, but we just ignored them as we loved the concept. There are loads of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so be sure to try them out. Read less

Absolutely incredible. The staff really make this place and go over and above. We are so grateful to you all for helping us make some amazing family memories. Vikash Singh looked after us all so well as vegetarians and always helped my mum with alternative options including eggless desserts. Summayah in the restaurant was incredible with our daughter and always made time to interact with her as did Tishana. Was another lovely man I think starting with a V who brought my little daughter berries everyday. He always greeted us so nicely and went over and above. He was the sweetest The truffle honey is to die for. I loved it. But.... They make it so you can't buy it. One of the chefs Poppin went and with another head chef filled me a little pot with this honey! Absolutely made my day/birthday! Oh and the chocs in the buffet are sooooo good! I miss them! My only quibble with buffet is lack of labelling. As vegetarians we were upset to taste the papaya salad to realise it had beef in. I do think labelling could be improved. We celebrated 2 birthdays here and they made it so special for mum and I. Spoilt us lots The pool staff were lovely though lacking presence at times. The towel staff lovely and helpful Lance at concierge was lovely helping us with theme park passes. Was really jolly! We loved the theme park access and plenty for our group from 20 months old to 74 years old! The guest relations on WhatsApp amazing! Nothing too much of a problem. Helped us with wifi issues to use the baby camera. Irish bar was noisy and they helped to sort this as was late and loud. Helped in so many ways Spent a short time in kids club and my daughter enjoyed the soft play We loved our stay and are already talking about coming back Thank you all so much Read less

Mixed feelings

Mixed feeling about this hotel and not sure if it was the right decision for me, my wife and my daughter to stay 8 nights. The hotel seems to lean more towards the corporate short stays and maybe that’s where we went wrong. You can fault Hilton’s mind. You n ow what you’re getting. They’re clean, tidy and no issues whatever with the decor or services provided by the staff. If I was doing a 2 day stop over on business it would be the perfect place…but for a “holiday” - I’m not so sure. Breakfast was disappointing. Everything was crammed together with narrow spaces and with people back and forth to the stations along with staff back and forth it felt like a crowded alley way. Selection was okay but quality of food was average. There was an egg station but you had to order an omelette or eggs Benedict it would take up to 15 minutes to arrive. I wouldn’t suggest anyone upgrades to half board or all inclusive - a short walk from the hotel is the pier where there are far better and high quality food restaurants. There is an Irish bar also which I thought was so disjoined from the rest of the hotel as it grubby, was loud, TVs absolutely everywhere. We went there one evening and had a terrible experience. Hotel pool is shaded by all the palm trees also - really lets it down. The main driver for us staying there was free park tickets to Ferrari world, Seaworld, Warner brothers and the waterpark. It’s also only 10 minutes from the airport. Couldn’t fault the stay and loved Abu Dhabi - the hotel Just doesn’t have any wow factor. Read less
