Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island

We had a wonderful staycation at Hilton Yas Island last weekend 20 June. The reception check-in was smooth and efficient, and all the staff were very nice, polite, and welcoming. The pool area staff were especially amazing, particularly Maluna, who made our experience even more enjoyable with excellent service. Our families recently stayed at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island during the Eid break, and I wanted to take the time to recognize what was genuinely one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we've had in a long time. We were traveling as two families with three children between us (aged 8, 8, and 5), which means there are plenty of opportunities for things to go wrong. Instead, the entire stay felt remarkably smooth, organized, and welcoming despite the hotel being extremely busy during a peak holiday period. What impressed us most was the people. From the food and beverage team, Taleh made a particularly strong impression. He was incredibly accommodating and attentive during our visits to the buffet, always willing to help and clearly taking pride in the guest experience. Farhat was an absolute delight, always greeting us with a warm smile that immediately brightened the day, while Sharon consistently provided service with genuine kindness and positivity. From housekeeping, He He deserves special recognition. Every interaction with her was marked by professionalism, warmth, and exceptional politeness. She represented the hotel beautifully. At the front desk, Basma was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the various Yas Island parks and attractions. Her advice helped us make the most of our stay and avoid common mistakes, which was particularly valuable when managing activities for multiple children. I would also like to recognize the team at the Kids Club. Our children genuinely looked forward to spending time there, which says everything. The staff created a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment that allowed the children to have fun while giving parents the peace of mind to relax and enjoy parts of the holiday themselves. Anyone who has travelled with young children knows how valuable that is. Their energy, kindness, and patience did not go unnoticed and played a significant role in making the trip enjoyable for both the kids and the adults. The hotel itself was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, the breakfast was consistently enjoyable, and the location is difficult to beat for anyone visiting Yas Island. What stood out even more was how well the entire operation functioned despite the large number of guests during Eid. The hotel was clearly very busy, yet the team never appeared overwhelmed and maintained a high standard of service throughout our stay. If I had one small suggestion, it would concern the pool area. We noticed that some guests were swimming in regular clothing rather than swimwear. Of course, guests have different preferences and comfort levels, and these should absolutely be respected. Perhaps the hotel could consider offering modest swimwear options for purchase on-site as an additional convenience for visitors. This is a very minor observation and did not affect our enjoyment of the stay, but it might be a useful addition for future guests. Overall, this was a wonderful family holiday, and the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island team played a major role in making it memorable. Please extend our thanks to everyone mentioned above, as well as to the many team members working behind the scenes whom we may not have met personally. We left with fantastic memories, new stories for our children to tell, and every intention of returning in the future. Great hotel with exceptional service. We had a small issue with our room location, and the staff noticed it immediately and handled it quickly. The hotel manager, Badri, and his deputy, Yasmin, sorted it out within half an hour and made sure everything was perfect for us. Beyond the great hospitality, the food is delicious, the bed is very comfortable, and the view is amazing. Overall an excellent experience, we will definitely be back. Read less
