It was our first time in this hotel and the hotel chain itself. Previously, we stayed in other large hotel chains. At first, we chose another hotel but the vacation showed that Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas island is a great choice for a family vacation on the Yas island. Hotel location is very convenient, there is a good swimming pool and delicious food, served on breakfasts and coffee breaks. The room service is also on top, everyday there were different animals made of towels on our bed. The hotel staff was very polite and kind to us. Special thanks to Munisa from the lounge zone. She speaks russian well and always greeted us positively, giving us an optimistic mood for the entire day. Thanks to the person with whom we haven't talked personally: the hotel manager. Judging from our travel experience, it depends on the manager how good the hotel is. This is a well-deserved five-star hotel. Read less

We booked one night in an Executive suite prior to going for 6 nights to the Fairmont Bab al bar. We arrived early after our night flight around 09:30. We went to the reception where the lady checked us in and explained about the free theme park tickets. The room was not ready. We went to the Executive floor to check out the breakfast. Plenty of choice. You order hot dishes via the staff. Had a quick breakfast, grabbed our swim gear, left our luggage with the desk and headed down to the pool. There are modern changing rooms with lockers and showers. The pool is large. Plenty of sunbeds. Some are shaded by palms. The pool was a little nippy when you get in, but once you are fully submerged it's fine. We got a WhatsApp to say our room was ready. We headed in during the afternoon tea window and moved in. The room was decent albeit it was one without a balcony which was a shame. We went to the afternoon tea. Again plenty of choice. We went back to the pool. It did get busier and a lot more kids arrived, but with the nearby theme parks it was no surprise that there were more families. We went in for Happy Hour. The drinks are self service. There are a few hot items plus lots of other stuff like meats, cheese, salads and bread and desserts. We sat outside on the balcony which was nice. We were Room Only. But there is enough food and drink so you won't starve. Plenty of restaurants nearby or in the Mall. We did not bother with the theme park. But we caught the free bus (every 15 mins) to the mall. The staff in the Executive lounge were good as were the reception staff. Pool guys offer to set up your bed towels and umbrella and will come and assist if they see you moving it. Nice modern hotel. Could not fault anything Read less

Found the hotel underwhelming. Small rooms, noisey, and non luxurious. View was non existent. Beautiful lobby and nice pool although very busy. To be expected during F1 weekend to be fair. We stayed at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island for 4 nights during the F1 Abu Dhabi GP and probably couldn’t have found a better place to stay for the extended weekend. While the lobby and rooms look like many other newer Hilton hotels, what stood out was how well the hotel was managed during such a busy time. Even though there were people everywhere, coming and leaving, it never fell chaotic or crowded. We never waited long for our car at the valet or to get help at the reception. The other thing that was great is that the Hilton has its own bus stop during the race weekend so it’s super easy to get to different parts of the track, the concert venue, Ferrari World, or Yas Mall super easily. On top of that, the entire hotel was F1 themed through and through - from the lobby with a real McLaren F1 car to the breakfast restaurant with racing themes everywhere. We also got a very cute welcome gift (F1 car, helmet and other accessories all made out of chocolate; see photos). Other things that are great: free entrance to a Yas Island theme park every day during the stay and the breakfast (a LOT of variety of food and everything tasted excellent). Areas for improvement: some parts of the room (e.g. bed headboard) need a little maintenance and our room (hallway and bathroom) felt quite dark. Would definitely come back for another race weekend or an extended stay at Yas Island! Read less

We loved everything about this hotel… the room, the service, the food and the location. Park tickets being included was a huge bonus for us. There is a free shuttle around Yas Island but we just used taxis as they were so convenient and cheap! Food - one of the nicest buffets we’ve experienced, the quality and choice was good. They catered well for my gluten free needs - the chef would meet with me at breakfast or at dinner at go through my options and what they could make fresh for me. The food at the pool bar was great too. Room - we stayed in a One Bedroom Suite, spacious, modern, lovely views over Yas Bay and two double beds! Perfect for us! If you stay in a suite, you also get access to the Executive Lounge for complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks and happy hour - so maybe consider this when you are thinking about your board basis. I’d definitely go back! Read less
