It was my 50th birthday getaway. I booked a king room with an ocean view. When we arrived we checked in. They confirmed the room. When we get upstairs to the room. We enter and it has two queen beds. Didn’t look as pictured. I contacted my travel agent about the room. It was a huge room. He messaged me back and said they gave me a free upgrade to the jr suite. They wanted to do a king but it wasn’t available. That was the best birthday gift ever!!!! The next night there was a knock at the door. It was a bottle of wine two glasses and a slice of cake with a birthday card. As soon as there back up and running next year I will definitely be going back. Read less

We arrived about a week before hurricane Melissa and got stranded there. Great facility and staff helped us survive, and continued to provide the best services they could offer during that time. I give two thumbs up to this resort and the Hyatt Corporation.

I had the pleasure of travelling to this beautiful resort twice in 2025. We went as a girl’s trip in March to celebrate a milestone birthday with some friends who had never been to Jamaica and returned again in October with my daughter to teach yoga. Both groups were blown away by the resort, staff and food. The property itself is beautiful with gorgeous landscaping everywhere. Pools on both sides were perfect but we spent most of our time at the beach. Ziva is more calm due to the breakwall. We had no problems securing a lounger anywhere and had really quick drink service at both pools and beach. Food was excellent at all the restaurants and we didn’t ever have to wait in lines. The fitness facility is huge and fully equipped. We loved it. The resort itself is worth the trip but where this hotel really shines is the staff. Both trips we felt so spoiled and had fun chatting with the staff. They went above and beyond in every way. We had to leave just as the hurricane was rolling in, and the staff was still going the extra mile for the guests.. In all of my trips to Jamaica (this was #15), this was the kindest and warmest staff. . If you are considering this hotel, you’re making the right choice. I look forward to returning once they have reopened. One Love . Read less

I think it’s somewhat unfair because a hurricane came near the end of our stay, but the hurricane didn’t break our bathroom door or cause some of the other issues that we had with our shower, water or food. However most of the staff were very nice
