But what really makes this place special, is the staff. Every single person we met there was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Our hostess Maryam made sure everything was seamless, Carol always greeted us with the biggest smile at the restaurant, and Mehru was wonderful as well. These are just a few names we remember, but honestly, all of the staff deserve recognition.
A special mention to the chefs as the food was fantastic every time, with so much quality in every meal.
We are already missing this beautiful place and are very much looking forward to returning in the future. It definitely made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Room cleaning by Natalie excellent and timed to fit with our times away from the villa. Ylang restaurant very good with plenty of options, Asian and Mediterranean. They have found a good compromise between buffet and waitress service, you can walk, look, place your order and it is delivered to your table freshly cooked. Jenny in the Ylang looked after us well and always had a cheery greeting. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatment that was part of the package. The Blu underwater restaurant was an amazing experience, all kinds of fish including sharks swimming by as you eat, presentation of food was good but menu a little limited compared to Ylang. My wife was celebrating a birthday, and our hostess organised a small cake which was brought to our table and while at dinner she dressed our villa bedroom with birthday balloons, petals etc. Thank you, Michelle, you really looked after us very well without being intrusive.

We stayed 10 nights so had access to Only Blu underwater restaurant twice, we opted to go once in the evening - which is when the sharks came out and once in the day - when we seen a puffer fish. The food at the Ylang Ylang is better but it is a really cool experience nonetheless.
The only negative for us was the evening entertainment, it is beyond low key .. too much so and of poor quality. You have the option to head across to the other island but that wasn’t for us either, lots of children and a very different vibe/feel in general.
All in all, a stunning place and a fantastic holiday.

Our butler, Belle, was wonderful — always attentive, helpful, and quick to assist with anything we needed.
Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by our final dinner at Gaadiya Restaurant. We had a 7:00 PM reservation and arrived among the earlier guests, yet we ended up being one of the last tables to be served. By 8:00 PM, our main course still had not arrived, while nearby tables had already finished their meals, desserts, and even ordered additional side dishes.
When we asked about the delay, one staff member explained that the kitchen stove was too small to handle so many orders at once. Even so, we felt that dishes should still be served in the order guests arrive. Another staff member then told us that if we wanted our food served faster, we should have informed them in advance; otherwise, they would intentionally let everyone dine slowly. This explanation was particularly surprising, as it is hard to believe that all other tables had specifically requested faster service

We did wonder if the reviews were a bit over the top but if you’re reading this before your trip there, then get excited, it’s brilliant.
We were looked after totally from the minute we arrived until we had to unfortunately leave. The room was incredible, the staff are fantastic and the food is the best we’ve ever experienced in an all inclusive. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and although it’s a cliche, they became friends.
Snorkelling straight off the back of the villa is awesome, we saw a turtle on our second day and saw sharks and rays regularly. We did the turtle and sandbank trip and can thoroughly recommend it.
The App is really helpful in planning your itinerary and our appointed island hostess looked after us so well (thank you Lisa!)
Big shout out to the team at Yang Ylang including, Carol, Jenny, Hydie and Ellen, lovely people!
Also the team at the Swing Bar including Puja and Divya who made sure we always enjoyed our drinks!! The Mango Tais always went down very well!
Don’t worry too much about the weather forecast, some days it threw it down for a couple of hours in the morning then brightens up for the rest of the day, we had sun pretty much every day.
In short, a dream holiday and amazing honeymoon, being back home is very difficult!! 😂
