Lobigilli is a beautiful couple only island only a 15 minute boat ride from the airport. Climbing off the speed boat to a warm and generous welcome from the friendliest and courteous island hosts whilst being serenaded by the islands saxophonist.
We spent 7 nights in a beach nest accommodation, which was beautifully decorated and spacious both in and outside. The room has a king sized bed, window seating area and a bean bag, tv, safe, fridge with water, sodas, beer and a selection of wine/ prosecco, wardrobe and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is located outside with his/ her sinks, open air shower, deep tiled bath and hidden wc. At the other side of the nest is a sliding door which takes you to the outdoor plunge pool, sitting area, sun loungers/ umbrella and access to the sea.
The main restaurant, Ylang Ylang has the most friendliest of staff and serves breakfast, lunch and evening dinner in one of the 4 eating areas. The selection of food is excellent but the taste and flavours are even better. We loved the choice and extensive daily menu. We can honestly say, the quality of food at Ylang Ylang is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff are excellent and will go out their way to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction and ensure service is to an exceptional standard.
As part of every 4 night package, you will receive a 45 min spa session, sunset cruise, snorkel and restaurant booking at the underwater Only BLU, where you will receive a 4 course meal whilst watching an array of beautiful sea life including sharks swim in the illuminated waters in and around the restaurant.
The Swing Bar is the main bar located at the pool area. Daytime there are sun loungers located around the pool and also on the small beach, which has its own refreshment beach building. Drinks are served around the pool during the day and also at night, when the resident duo sing a selection of popular songs. The bar staff are excellent and provide a great pool service throughout the day/ night.
Lobigilli is a small but beautiful island, which offers excellent service and facilities. The food is excellent, however, the one thing that sets this island/ resort apart from the others are the many wonderful and friendly restaurant and bar staff. The staff make you feel like they have known you for years and will do anything to make sure you enjoy every moment you spend on the OBLU ‘Love Island’.
