Arrived at hotel jetty, staff waiting for you with huge smiles and with a necklace and a red rose and to the sounds of the sax player. Whisked off to bar and given cold towel and drink. Met our host Alpi who drove us round the island and showed us our room. It was so beautiful I got emotional and Alpi gave me a hug. We had a beach nest villa with stunning views and a pool. Blissful bedroom and outdoor bathroom with white company products. Comfortable bed with cloud like pillows. Room kept immaculate by Swastika. Fridge with loads of drinks and snacks and chocolate every evening. Bed was decorated on arrival and for our anniversary so pretty didn’t want to move it. Hotel staff, each and everyone were the best we have ever had, hardworking so friendly and so welcoming and genuinely interested in you and your day. We felt so welcomed, the staff absolutely made our stay. They go above and beyond. Shout out to sweet Nora and Dee then Irene mandee hanah wintry nisha rada and priya and sorry if missed anyone.
Alpi our host wow! Checked on us every day arranged everything and made our anniversary so special and memorable even on her day off. Cannot say just how wonderful she was.
Food another wow! Chefs are very talented and the presentation was superb. Luckily enough to eat at underwater restaurant twice day/night both exceptional. Food and service and views excellent. The buffet exceeded itself. We ate in library mostly as had a/c but outside the view was instagram worthy. We especially liked the concept of the buffet being sit down al la carte in evening made it special. Gala night was great really enjoyed that. The lady round the pool provided great service. This is a truly special hotel. It’s very quiet and relaxing. Decor everywhere was lovely and the flora and fauna is lush kept beautifully by the ground staff.
