Serenity Plan: All-Inclusive of: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Courtyard, plus one visit included at either JustWok or Just Grill, for lunch or dinner, for a one to three-night stay (two visits included, for a four to seven-night stay; three visits included, for an eight to 11-night stay; four visits included for a 12-night stay and above. Beach Villas with Pool feature a 13m² private plunge pool, and direct beach access ,with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Water Villas are set over the ocean with direct access to the house reef, ocean view, bathtub and rain shower, private sundeck with loungers, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Water Villas with pool are the same as water villas, with direct access to the lagoon, with the addition of an outdoor bed and private pool, featuring 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Honeymoon Select Ocean Villas are intimate over water villas with a private pool, sunset views, and an outdoor shower, sleeping maximum 2 adults. These villas include direct check-in at your villa, welcome bottle of champagne with canapés and fruit platter, dine-around in all three restaurants throughout the stay, one couples massage per stay (for stays of 4 nights or more), special evening turn-down service, dedicated butler service, and in-villa floating breakfast once during stay.

Two Bedroom Beach Pool Suites feature two open-air bathrooms, spacious living area, direct beach access, veranda with comfy daybed, and a private pool. One master bedroom has 1 king-size bed, with the secondary bedroom featuring twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children.

I went for a five days vacation to Oblu Sangeli and the experience was truly exceptional. Surrounded by the sea and pristine natural beauty, the resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, privacy, and tranquillity. The setting itself creates an immediate sense of escape and relaxation. The Beach Villas where we stayed were spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, offering stunning views and complete comfort. Every detail reflected refined luxury, while still feeling warm and welcoming. The staff were highly professional, attentive, and discreet, ensuring a seamless and personalised stay throughout. The dining experience was memorable, with beautifully presented dishes, fresh ingredients, and a variety that complemented the island setting. Pleased to meet Chef Rajesh and Chef Nihad who took care of our taste buds throughout by well curated Indian cuisine. The beach areas and common spaces were impeccably maintained, allowing guests to enjoy the natural surroundings in comfort and peace. The activities which were included in the package again gave a surreal experience. Our dive in mate Mr Sohag who treated us with fresh organic sugarcane juice from Nurse Shark Island. The Manager , Mr. Surendra was always around asking us if all’s well. A special mention must be made of Mr Niheart, our mate, assigned to us, who truly elevated our stay and made it exceptionally memorable. From thoughtfully picking us up and dropping us around the island to ensuring every detail of our daily plans was seamlessly managed, his service was impeccable. It was too fun playing beach volley, tennis, football and of course chess and it was Niheart who made sure we get the most of it. Overall, the resort delivered a truly rejuvenating island-luxury experience. It is an ideal destination for those seeking exclusivity, serenity, and a deep connection with nature. I had an excellent experience here. The butler provided me with tremendous assistance, the views were stunning, the dining was superb, and everyone was very warm and kind.

Heaven on earth

From the moment you arrive on this paradise island the team will make your holiday. Our 2nd visit. The staff here are super and cannot do enough to make your holiday the best. From the ground staff upwards, no matter what their job they are superb, you are greeted with a genuine smile and warmth, (if only the whole world was like this). Nishath who looked after our room everyday, anything you need just ask, his lovely animal and bed displays made us so happy, he works so hard to ensure you are comfortable. The courtyard buffet, you will be greeted by the lovely young ladies, Sia, Kelina apologies for not remembering all their names, Tomni prepared by fruit plate every morning never eaten so much beautiful fruit, the variety of food is huge, and if you really can’t find something just ask they are happy to make you something. The waiters at your tables work so hard to ensure you have what you need, water, drinks, clearing the tables, always with a smile, so many names again apologies for missing them all. Safwan, where he gets his energy from, to ensure everyone is happy and served is pretty amazing! Happy yes that’s his name was so sweet, ensuring we had top ups on water and wine, could quite easily have taken him home with us. The Grill. Edina and chef Chuvan spoilt us with their care and service, providing additions and changes to anything in the menu, supported by the beautiful Saru, Safrun and all the guys, Shaham who we remembered from last year with his wonderful smile, was on holiday when we arrived but as soon as he returned he remembered us. The Rock, for sunset, Safrun served us drinks whilst watching the sunset, always so nice to be greeted by him every night. One particular night the sunset was stunning, but then the changes in the skies colours and rays I have never seen before. I must apologise for nit asking the Saxophonist for her name, she entertains at the Rock so lovely. The snorkelling is unbelievable, who knew that the world under water was as amazing as David Attenborough tells you, everyday you find more and more beautiful fish, stunning colours. The sharks, the rays, which just swim past you, or in front of your balcony is amazing. Vishnu in the the snorkel shop helped us name at least some of the creatures we kept seeing, how he knew the names from our descriptions was super!. Tommy on the snorkelling Dhowi, gave us a brilliant chat all about the Maldives and the islands and the stories on the sharks and rays were so interesting, he knew his stuff. The Spa, well where do I start with these beautiful ladies, who greet you like long lost friends, Chamini performs the most amazing massages, and my facial was something I have never experienced before, I looked 10 years younger. Second stay in paradise – flawless family holiday, we’ll be back again

We have just returned from our second stay at OBLU SELECT Sangeli (September 2025 and January 2026), and this place has truly become our family’s “home island” in the Maldives. First of all, the logistics are unbeatable. From Velana Airport it’s about an hour by speedboat, and in both of our stays the transfer was immediate – no waiting at all. After a long flight, stepping straight onto the boat and arriving quickly makes a huge difference. The resort itself feels new, spotless, cosy and peaceful. It has a relaxed, quiet atmosphere and its own beautiful house reef right off the beach – perfect for easy snorkeling any time of day. We travel as a family with a 5-year-old, and the Kids Club is simply outstanding. A special thank you to Kelly – we are truly grateful for the care, warmth and love you showed our son. He couldn’t wait to go there every day, which gave us real time to relax as parents. What really sets Sangeli apart is the team. It genuinely feels like there are more staff than guests, and that level of attention creates an effortless, premium experience. Everyone is kind, smiling and proactive. Special thanks to Mika, Vinay, Tore and Bappi – you are so wonderful that guests actually remember your names. Frank, the Customer Relations Manager, deserves a separate mention. Extremely professional, thoughtful and helpful. During our second stay our first villa felt a bit noisy due to proximity to the reception area, and he arranged a quick move to a quieter location without any hassle. Problem solved in minutes – exactly how great hospitality should work. Food is excellent. High quality, fresh, and very easy to maintain a specific diet (I follow a high-protein, low-carb plan and had plenty of delicious options every day). The all-inclusive drinks selection is also generous and well curated. The gym is objectively on the smaller side… but honestly, on an island like this, you’ll probably prefer snorkeling, swimming and walking the beaches anyway. OBLU Sangeli delivers something rare: comfort without pretension, luxury without stiffness, and a genuinely warm human touch. We left relaxed, happy and already planning our third visit.
