Where is it
On the north-western edge of the Malé Atoll, this resort is set over two small islands linked by a curve of water villas, with the spa and two restaurants on the smaller island, and most other amenities on the larger island. Complimentary speedboat transfer to and from Malé International Airport: 50 minutes, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On arrival day, guests will be met by representatives at the airport and escorted to the speedboat jetty. A boat host will be on hand to ensure a smooth journey.Hotel information
137 villas and suites, all with air-conditioning, safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, complimentary WiFi access, complimentary mini-bar replenished daily, iron and ironing board, mini bar, flat-screen LCD TV, bathrobe, and slippers.
Beach Villas are 81m² standalone villas facing the lagoons, and have a semi open-air bathroom, direct beach access, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.
Serenity Plan: All-Inclusive of: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Courtyard, plus one visit included at either JustWok or Just Grill, for lunch or dinner, for a one to three-night stay (two visits included, for a four to seven-night stay; three visits included, for an eight to 11-night stay; four visits included for a 12-night stay and above. Pre-booking required, as per availability. Children under 16 years can dine at specialty restaurants during dinner only). Freshly prepared local afternoon snacks at the Hedhikka Hut. A selection of drinks including regular international brands spirits, wines, and beers, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee from The Courtyard, JustWok, Just Grill, The Sangs Bar, One Banyan Bar, At The Rock Sunset Bar open from 5-7pm enjoy the cocktail of the day, wine, beer and soft drinks. Beach Villas with Pool feature a 13m² private plunge pool, and direct beach access ,with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.
Water Villas are set over the ocean with direct access to the house reef, ocean view, bathtub and rain shower, private sundeck with loungers, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Water Villas with pool are the same as water villas, with direct access to the lagoon, with the addition of an outdoor bed and private pool, featuring 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.
Honeymoon Select Ocean Villas are intimate over water villas with a private pool, sunset views, and an outdoor shower, sleeping maximum 2 adults. These villas include direct check-in at your villa, welcome bottle of champagne with canapés and fruit platter, dine-around in all three restaurants throughout the stay, one couples massage per stay (for stays of 4 nights or more), special evening turn-down service, dedicated butler service, and in-villa floating breakfast once during stay.
Two Bedroom Beach Pool Suites feature two open-air bathrooms, spacious living area, direct beach access, veranda with comfy daybed, and a private pool. One master bedroom has 1 king-size bed, with the secondary bedroom featuring twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children.

Everything about our vacation was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the warm, friendly and attentive staff, who were always ready to help with a smile.
The food was exceptional—far beyond what you would typically expect from a standard buffet experience. Every meal was enjoyable, with an impressive variety and quality throughout our stay.
A very special shout-out goes to Eliza for helping my husband flawlessly execute my birthday surprise and vow renewal. It was such a beautiful, thoughtful and unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful for all the effort that went into making it so special.
Travelling with children can sometimes make it difficult for parents to fully relax, but the Kids Club and nanny service truly allowed us to enjoy our holiday while knowing our children were happy and well cared for. A special thank you to Ms Kelly for the constant updates and lovely pictures—it gave us so much reassurance and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this was such a wholesome, memorable and beautiful family experience. We created memories that we will cherish forever, and honestly, we truly did not want to leave!

Wonderful stay and really recommend the Oblu resorts. We stayed at both Lobigili and Sangali, both had their own key features. For me, Sangeli had an amazing house reef and the dive sites were world class. TGI dive team were amazing and highly professional, would encourage you to use them as their sites have many eagle rays, turtles, sharks and very interesting sites with good healthy coral that not many other resorts use. They also have a program in their lagoon growing new coral, which is great to see them doing.
Big thanks to Kaiom from housekeeping, who made animals every day from
Towels and Moe in the Courtyard restaurant who also greeted us while a smile and found us a perfect table. Ishan serving us with wonderful cocktails and lovely chats during our meals. Chef Suderha was always round the buffet explain the dishes and recommend extra little touches.
Sunset drinks at the Rock bar is also a must do thing.
The One Banyan Island is also a lovely touch for adults only and was very peaceful and the guys and girls serving always going the extra mile to make your stay perfect.

I had to unfortunately update my review after check out. The billing was inaccurate and there were incorrected charges. $1400 worth of inaccurate charges. My advice, please screen shot all agreements, e mails and all your receipts. We paid upfront for our vow renewal and then they tried to charge it again. We agreed on a fee for upgrade, luckily…

I had to unfortunately update my review after check out. The billing was inaccurate and there were incorrected charges. $1400 worth of inaccurate charges. My advice, please screen shot all agreements, e mails and all your receipts. We paid upfront for our vow renewal and then they tried to charge it again. We agreed on a fee for upgrade, luckily in writing and they tried to charge double.
We paid our bill in full the night before check out to ensure it was all correct and settled. Then before catching the boat back to the airport, they wanted us to pay more, because they had missed charges.
The resort is lovely. Aside from the main guy in reception, the staff are brilliant.
Food:The food is exceptionally good in the buffet and we spent most nights eating here. There are two other restaurants, the wok and the grill. These are nice, but the buffet is better. The chefs walk around and ask if you want anything else. We asked for spicier curry and they made a special bowl for us.
Accommodation: we stayed in both beach villa with pool and water villa. Both are lovely. Beach villa has an outdoor bathroom which makes you feel like you are showering in true nature. The water villa’s have uninterrupted views and great for snorkelling. So many fish on the cliff edge near the rooms. Watch out for trigger fish, beyond the rope. They bite.
Excursions: you get a free fishing trip and snorkelling trip. The fishing trip we did and wasn’t really worth it. Nobody caught anything.
We did a paid excursion to swim with nurse sharks. This wasn’t worth it either, highly over priced, we paid $500 and it was choppy, difficult to swim and so far away. Included no food. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We have been to the Maldives 6 times and have stayed in a different resort each time. I would have turned to this one but I’ll be checking the agreed prices and billing beforehand so we don’t have the same problems as last time.
It is a shame to end the holiday on that note because it truly was a magical holiday and this resort is lovely. I would recommend it.
Make sure you try the Maldivian fish with roti for breakfast. Ask the chef to make the Maldivian chicken curry for dinner. Have the kebab wraps, they are amazing. Also when the Asian live station is on, get the Thai curry spicy. Best I’ve ever had.
The live salad bar is also a must, any dressing, any combination of salad, all prepared in front of you.
