Beach Villas are just a few steps from the beach, with a private outdoor veranda and garden, inviting interior, walk-in wardrobe leading to a spa-like bathroom, double vanity, and a semi open-air bathroom. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.
Water Villas stretch into the dazzling lagoon, and are accessed by wooden jetty. Each water villa is shaped like a traditional Maldivian Boat – a ‘dhoni’ – creating a feeling of a romantic hideaway. We had a great experience at OBLU. The only not so good was we were given wrong info about the villas when we were at the airport. We noticed that our room numbers were 514,515.619, and 620. We asked how far room 515 villa was to room 620 and the staff told us 10 minutes walk when in reality it was a 10 second walk. We worried for nothing, I am…

We had a great experience at OBLU. The only not so good was we were given wrong info about the villas when we were at the airport. We noticed that our room numbers were 514,515.619, and 620. We asked how far room 515 villa was to room 620 and the staff told us 10 minutes walk when in reality it was a 10 second walk. We worried for nothing, I am thinking the staff just did not know.
We stayed from Feb 13-20 and want to send kudos to the following staff who showed us great hospitality:
1. Euis and Ikbaa- chefs at Element.
2. Donna at the gift shop.
3. The photographers and drone videographers.
4. Elvis zumba and entertainment
5. The singers and band at the Bar.
6. Staff at activities center.
7. Housekeeping staff- rooms were always very clean.
My one request would be to add more American dishes if possible. Just a wish list.
