Beach Villas are just a few steps from the beach, with a private outdoor veranda and garden, inviting interior, walk-in wardrobe leading to a spa-like bathroom, double vanity, and a semi open-air bathroom. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Water Villas stretch into the dazzling lagoon, and are accessed by wooden jetty. Each water villa is shaped like a traditional Maldivian Boat – a ‘dhoni’ – creating a feeling of a romantic hideaway. With a private deck, and a staircase into the water, and a semi open-air bathroom. 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Ocean Family Two Bedrooms are the same as the Ocean View Rooms, with the addition of a second bedroom with bunkbeds in a story book theme for children, 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

The place was great with good facilities Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Views are nice. Food was also delicious with good timings throughout the day.

Great Holiday Location

Lovely experience with a relaxed atmosphere for spending time with family. Interesting activities like fireshows, snorkling lessons etc. Room service was great and our room attendor Russ went an extra mile and kept the room spotless. Restaurent staff showed great hospitality and the food was great.

The 30th Birthday of my dreams!!

I visited the Maldives for the first time and had a wonderful experience at this resort. There was 8 of us, and it is perfect for larger groups and families. It is different to other Maldives resorts, it had entertainment during the day and night (such as aqua aerobics and foam parties). The pick up from the airport was really smooth, and we were instantly greeted by reception staff from the boat. I was celebrating my 30th birthday and the staff went totally above and beyond. This was definitely the highlight of the holiday, so I want to give a huge and special shout out to the staff involved (below). They planned sooo many surprises for me - the bakery made the 30th birthday cake of my dreams, they completely decorated my room and I was blindfolded to my room and greeted by the team in traditional Maldivian dress, who were playing the drums and singing happy birthday. When I went inside my villa, that was the BEST surprise of all. Apparently this had never been done before, but there was a jet ski outside my room and one of the dive centre men was on a flyboard holding up a "Happy Birthday" banner. That was such an incredible moment and he was so talented, he was doing so many tricks my whole family were amazed! Honestly the hotel team were incredible and I cannot thank them enough for making the 30th bday memories of my dreams <3 A HUGE thank you to..... - Water Villa room service teams (Abu and team) - Veru (Resort Management) - Dive Centre team The buffet had a lot of variety everyday, the Indian and Thai stations were 10/10. I was impressed that all the soft drinks were from cans. I was really impressed that the TV had lots of English channels. Staying in the water villas was a dream and saw lots of marine life, like baby sharks, crabs and stingrays right from our villa. Everything was walkable (except the gym that is further out), but there's always buggies if you can't walk. I had a 60 minute neck and shoulder massage for about $100 which I thought was very reasonable, and the spa staff were lovely. The underwater restaurant is definitely worth booking for the experience - it is the biggest in the Maldives and Asia, there are a few sharks and colourful fish to spot! The gym is good, staff lovely, crystal clear water, great food and comfortable room. Another highlight was our dolphin and sunset cruise excursion. For two days in a row it was cancelled due to rain, but once again the hotel staff were so flexible and friendly and took us out on a boat for two hours - just as our family. We got to see lots of dolphins and I'm really grateful the dive team arranged this private trip just for us. The photography team were also really good and we got some great pics to take home too. xx There are some improvements I'd recommend, but overall the great experiences totally outweighed my recommendations: - The water villas are quite small for 3 people, and the showers are very temperamental for hot water. The Oblu xperience is a beautiful hotel with lovely beaches. We stayed in a sunrise water villa which was perfect and the bed was really comfortable. The food was really good, lots of choice. The restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. Niya the restaurant supervisor gave an outstanding service, Our housekeeper Hardik kept our room very clean and tidy, he always checked to see if we were happy and if we needed anything, nothing was a bother for him. Hardik went out of his way for any requests we had. The service we received from Niya and Hardik really stood out, they are a fantastic asset to the hotel. Read less
