This was our second stay at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, and one thing is absolutely certain: this hotel is truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness, warmth, and professionalism. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to make each guest feel special and completely satisfied. Our overwater villa was simply breathtaking — a dream come true. The service is outstanding: attentive, discreet, always delivered with a smile and a sincere desire to please. The food deserves special recognition. For an all-inclusive resort, the quality is beyond impressive. The ingredients are top-tier, the dishes are refined and diverse, and you can clearly feel a constant pursuit of excellence. What touched us the most is the dedication of the entire team. No matter what you ask for — even if it’s not on the menu — they will always go above and beyond to make it happen. From housekeeping to dining, every aspect is flawless, seamless, and delivered with genuine kindness and positivity. We would like to give a special thank you to chef Videsh, the executive chef, who is truly outstanding. His passion, professionalism, and the care he shows for both his team and the quality of the ingredients are evident in every single dish. A heartfelt thank you as well to SHANTI, who was incredible from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to secure the overwater villa of our dreams, anticipated our needs, and always found solutions with efficiency and kindness. We have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, and yet this is, without a doubt, the most beautiful hotel we have ever experienced. That is exactly why we came back for a second time — and we will definitely return again, a third, a fourth time, God willing. Thank you for everything. You are simply the best Read less

From the minute we arrived until we departed 7 days later, this resort lived up to our hopes. The staff in every area of the resort were exceptionally friendly, helpful and cheerful. The setting is a dream and the overwater units were exceptional. Every morning was to a sight of seaside off the deck and every evening was a magnificent sunset where the colours lasted for hours. We ate at all three restaurants and loved them all. Phat Chamelion definitely lived up to its hype as the best food on the island, but Souq Oven closely followed with delightfully friendly staff and manager. Malange had a fantastic buffet for all meal times and one of the best buffets I’ve eaten at for selection and substance. The all inclusive package was fantastic as it added to the relaxation of the resort. The snorkelling was exquisite and we saw some amazing sea life during the week including manta rays. Watching dolphins play in the background of the setting sun was also a favourite. All in all I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to get away totally and forget about the rest of the world for a time. Read less

Wow.. Wow.. Wow.. This was our first trip to the Maldives and could not have picked a better resort for our family holiday!! The resort is best described as a tropical oasis in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The island is large and naturally vegetated from end to end and extremely well maintained. The resort offers bikes to rent and is a must to easily move around (it’s a big resort!). We had a family pool villa that had bikes included for our stay, however are an extra cost for other accommodation options. There is always the option to walk, or, catch the buggy shuttle but we loved to ride our way around the island. Our villa was amazing, large and very well appointed only steps from the water’s edge. Our daughter loved having her own room with bunk beds, TV, beanbags and soft furnishings. Nothing to fault. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have the very best experience at every turn. The resort has three dinning options with Phat Chameleon being their premier fine dining restaurant. It is very popular and needs to be booked early. We got in once and loved our experience. Mélange is their buffet style restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner where no booking is required. It would have to be the best buffet we have experienced with an extensive selection of foods that change daily and the option to have many things cooked for any particular desire. Soul Oven is also great, however requires bookings for dinner (not as heavily booked though).. no booking needed for breakfast or lunch. Saffron Affair on sunset is absolutely breathtaking and another must. Our daughter loved Kids Club with many different activities daily. A great option which also provides some mum and dad time by the pool. Snorkeling out from Juliet on low tide was fantastic, however a bit of a trip to get out there.. we didn’t mind though. This is premier destination and won’t disappoint if you’re looking for something private and lush and don’t mind a bit of travel (takes a domestic flight and speed boat from Male to get here). The only thing to consider is the cost… it’s not cheep to do excursions or spa treatments etc.. very expensive with 27% added to all ticketed prices.. and it’s in USD$. That said, the Maldives is not a cheap destination in general and the resort is an All Inclusive option. A truly beautiful experience that I wished would never end.. but it did and we will be back! Thank you to Pullman team for making our experience one to never forget. Villa 209. Read less
