An amazing place. Were were extremely fortunate to be in chalet A, which had a fantastic vista / view. But I believe some of the other chalets facing the bush weren't so lucky! If I had ONE point to mention, eating out at the restaurant and sitting out at your chalet, it was spoilt somewhat by scavenging monkeys! Read less

I had such an amazing time celebrating my 60th birthday at this safari lodge! The team really went the extra mile to make the day unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, every detail was taken care of with such care and dedication. We stayed in Pumba 10years ago, and we were so excited to show our sons the beautiful lodges and the wonderful wildlife right outside their doors. We all had an amazing time and want to thank you for the brilliant service! Thank you to everyone at the lodge for your efforts in making this milestone birthday truly memorable I also want to take a moment to recognise our fantastic safari ranger Wesley, who made our adventure all the more enjoyable! His patience and knowledge were remarkable, and he answered our many questions—no matter how silly they might have seemed—with a genuine smile and enthusiasm. Wesley’s insights and familiarity with the wildlife and environment added so much depth to our experience. We felt safe and well cared for during our time in the safari, and his passion for what he does truly shone through. Thank you, Wesley, for being such a wonderful part of our journey! We can't recommend this lodge highly enough for an unforgettable safari experience. Read less

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay at the amazing Pumba reserve. The accommodation was beautiful with amazing views across the reserve. The game drives were incredible, our Ranger Leina was so knowledgeable and worked so hard.

From arriving at Pumba, our two night stay was wonderful. We arrived at reception, Filled in our forms, had a welcome drink and waited to be taken to water lodge. On our drive there we were lucky enough to see a family of elephants. Our room wasn't quite ready so we had a beautiful lunch overlooking the watering hole where I saw my first Hippo! Having done two safaris prior to this and never seeing a Hippo, I was overjoyed! When we had lunch and were taken to our room, it was beautiful, Room 12 a two bedroom suite with plunge pool on the deck overlooking the watering hole. We spent the afternoon there before going on our first drive. Our Ranger Phum was brilliant! Over the course of our two days, we saw lions (many times) giraffes, rhino, elephants, buffalo, monkeys and may different antelopes, had sundowners and morning coffee with Amarula! Everything about this place was nothing short of outstanding and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return some day, well done Pumba! Read less
