Where is it

Located on a private island in Raa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by complimentary seaplane transfer (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

167 beach and water villas. All with LED TV, WiFi, living and dining areas, mini-bar (replenished daily), safe, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Beach Villas are 61sqm and located just steps away from the beach, with a terrace, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Raaya Plan All Inclusive includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner at RAAYA Life. Premium brands of spirits, wines, and beers. Cocktails and signature drinks. Mocktails, seasonal fresh fruit juices, soft drinks, RAAYA still and sparkling water, and a variety of tea and coffee. Champagne welcome drink on arrival. In-villa mini-bar stocked with wines, beers, soft beverages, and snacks. Full access to the fitness centre and yoga pavilion, with weekly and seasonal group activities including yoga, Pilates and strength training. Complimentary 9-hole crazy golf, skateboard park and padel tennis courts. Complimentary wooden Dhoni building workshop (one Dhoni per stay). Complimentary snorkelling gear. One snorkelling excursion shuttle daily to selected sites nearby (on pre-registration basis, weather permitting). Complimentary use of non-motorised water sports, includes canoe, and stand-up paddle board. Complimentary excursions: sunset fishing trip and sunset cruise (per guest during the stay). Complimentary seaplane transfers. Complimentary spa treatment (eligible per person, per stay for adults - 18 years and above) from a special RAAYA Plan™ Spa Menu depending on the duration of the stay:

- 4-7 nights stay: one 45-minutes spa treatment

- 8-11 nights stay: two 45-minutes spa treatment

- 12-15 nights stay: three 45-minutes spa treatment

- 16-19 nights stay: four 45-minutes spa treatment.

Guests staying 4 nights or more will experience all three of the speciality restaurants: Ampers&nd – Bar & Restaurant, Mizaj and The Village. For each additional night enjoy one additional meal at one of the speciality restaurants, rotating among the three restaurants.

Please note: All Inclusive ceases at 11am on the day of departure.

Room upgrades

Beach Villas with Pool are 91sqm and are on the beachfront, with a private plunge pool and daybed on the terrace, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Water Villas are 73sqm and are located on a private deck with a daybed, overwater hammock and steps down into the lagoon. Villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Water Villas with Pool are 80sqm and have a private plunge pool on the deck, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

2 Bedroom Family Beach Villas are interconnecting villas offering plenty of living spaces, terrace with dining area, hammock, and daybeds, with 2 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

2 Bedroom Family Beach Villas with pool are also available. Spanning 232sqm, these interconnecting villas offer a spacious terrace with dining area, hammock, and daybeds, plus a 19sqm pool. With 2 king-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

I can honestly say this was one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at in my life. I’ve been to the Maldives twice before, but this time was completely different and truly exceptional. The resort is spotless, and the staff are kind, polite, and respectful, which made the entire experience unique and memorable. It’s an excellent choice for families, with very fair pricing and complete honesty in everything. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, and each villa has a dedicated assistant who is always helpful, attentive, and quick to respond. I would especially like to highlight Achala, who was incredibly fast, helpful, and always attentive. He planned everything for us in the best possible way, making our entire stay smooth and unforgettable. The restaurants offered plenty of delicious options, and every meal was enjoyable thanks to the great service and quality. Special thanks as well to Mo in the main restaurant for his kindness and professionalism, and to the Syrian chef for the authentic flavors that made the dining experience even more special. We had the most beautiful vacation here, and I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to everyone, regardless of nationality or background. The staff are respectful of all cultures and religions, and they have speakers of many languages, including Arabic, which makes everything easier and more welcoming. We spent hours in the pool taking in view over a bottle of Pinot Gris and snacks. The whole establishment is less than coupe of years old so everything is picture perfect. Colour scheme is well coordinated with the surrounds. From the time you land you are taken care off. Our concierge, Jerry made everything a breeze, he was amazing. From managing our daily activity to accomodating any changes and additions, informing us of weather and low tides (handy to know when to jump into ocean from your villa😊) Also have good spread of restaurants from middle eastern to Italian and the amazing Ampersand (fusion fine dining). Breakfast and lunch buffet were also extensive with good choices of fresh make your own juices and meal. Shout out to the Hospitality manager of the main restaurant (Amit I believe his name was) and the young manager of pool bar who managed to pull strings to get a table in a packed booking. The friendliness of staff from waiters to housekeeper and buggy drivers was just sensational. Have been to few 5 star destinations but this tops it all.
