An Exceptional Family Holiday at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island! We had an unforgettable family vacation at Rixos Saadiyat Island. The hotel perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. The cleanliness, room quality, and variety of dining options were all top-notch. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the sports activities organized by the Exclusive Sports Club team Kaan , Ramazan , Ruhan , Katia , Anastasia . Their professionalism, energy, and friendly approach made every activity enjoyable for both adults and kids. It was the perfect balance of fun and fitness throughout our holiday. Kids club here is also wonderful. It works all day long until 23.00, that is very great. If you need, you can take baby sitting. Absolutely everyone of the guys who work at kids club is very kind and responsive, they sincerely love children and have a good time with them. Jerry. Tamila, Natasha, Ishara, Kino, Alaa, Tuğsem, Donna, Esin, each of these wonderful people is completely devoted to their work. The children's schedule is full of entertainment for every taste. My son never wants to go from kids club, because it is always full of great entertainment and kind people. The serene atmosphere, surrounded by nature and a beautiful beach, created a peaceful yet vibrant environment for our family to relax and recharge. Special thanks to the entire Rixos team for delivering such a flawless experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — no need to search for another destination! Read less

We stayed at the Rixos for 7 nights end of June. I love reading a review so only fair to leave one myself! We arrived around 8pm and was shown to our room and headed for the buffet. Great selection at the buffet, lots of Indian dishes, grilled fish/meat, veg, salad selection, sushi every evening, soups. The buffet ‘flowed’ a little strangely. Eg, the soups were sort of spread out and away from the soup ‘toppings’ section so you had to walk back and forth to look at the options. Evening entertainment is now inside but it was cool enough to sit outside some nights especially with the air con units. We tried two a la carte restaurants though were given the option of four. We went to the Italian and Asian. Both brilliant - go hungry as it’s a lot of food! We couldn’t fault the food, so many options. Poolside restaurant for lunch too was also brilliant and they were happy to make swaps and changes to the options. All staff were very attentive and friendly - they would remember drinks orders etc. shoutout to Rosamie in the main buffet restaurant (adults only section) and Samuel and Ali by the pool on their roller blades! They all work so hard. The rooms are spacious and clean. Mini bar is well stocked. The bed is huge! We booked a regular garden view room though could also see a large amount of the sea. The beach is absolutely stunning and the water is so clear and warm - like being in the Maldives. I tried to spot dolphins but no luck this trip, they are very common to spot in the winter months when they come closer to the shore to warm up in the shallows. We took a few trips out using Uber for taxis which were cheap. We went to the Yas mall and Galeria mall as well as the Louvre and TeamLab which is an absolute must do! Our last day we didn’t leave until 10:30pm but they said we could have lunch and use the facilities. To be fair we probably could’ve had dinner too but saved ourselves for the Etihad lounge and McDonald’s at the airport 😂 we used the spa to shower before leaving and were given drinks all day up until we left. Sunbeds were easy to get but I am up by 7:30 every morning. By 11am most beds are gone. Staff do remove towels on beds that haven’t been occupied for a while so be mindful if you’re a sunbed hogger who leaves a towel without actually using it. I applaud them for that. Yes there are lot of kids but there are adults only sections by the pool and in the buffet. We didn’t use the adult only section by the pool and wasn’t bothered by the kids running around to be honest though maybe in the term breaks it’s busier. We were told that the hotel was at around 70% capacity during our stay. It’s a truly beautiful hotel and we will definitely return during the winter months to make the most of more of the outdoor activities that we missed due to the heat. Namely grand mosque, f1 track, golfing and mangrove park. Highly recommended! Read less

We explained to our travel agent that we were 2 tired couples, celebrating our wedding anniversaries and wanted a top hotel for pure relaxation. On entering The Rixos Saadiyat Island, our initial thoughts were that we had entered the splendour of The Ritz, however, as soon as we entered the pool area ready for our relaxation to begin, it was not dissimilar to entering Butlins! The pool area is completely taken over by children, no space for a swim, sadly there is no adult pool, but The Rizos have again accommodated the children with a separate water park pool. They have provided a small adult sunbathing area away from the main pool. Equally the buffet restaurant, which serves a delicious, wide selection of foods for all appetites is equivalent to a school dinner hall, with adults constantly having to dodge kids. There is a small adult seating area, but it is placed in a dark corner inside the restaurant, you feel like second class citizen. Disappointingly also, although the receptionist was aware that we were all celebrating our anniversaries, no special effort was made, not even a bowl of fruit in our room. On a positive note, the quality and standard of both food and service is highly recommended, and the beach and beach bar are absolutely fabulous, equal to the Caribbean. The hotel has amazing facilities, I cannot fault the rooms, service, amenities whatsoever, but would have preferred a more relaxing, adult friendly experience for the money that we paid. Read less
