⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived at Sandals Dunn’s River, we were treated like family. This trip was especially meaningful as we celebrated my parents’ 44th wedding anniversary, and every staff member helped make it one we’ll never forget. A huge thank you to Chadwick, who captured the most breathtaking photos of our trip. His creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail turned every moment into a masterpiece. Our anniversary photos are memories we’ll cherish forever. To my girls—Tiana, Omanda, Jada, and Akeelah—thank you for making this trip so special. You weren’t just amazing team members; you became sisters for life. From the beach party and silent headphones to the competitive “Name That Tune” games, every moment was filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. A special shoutout to Aljay, Deondre and Donovan, the absolute best bartenders! My Bob Marley and Rum Punch were perfect every single time, and they always made us feel welcome. Welcomed Everywhere in Jamaica Except Here

My girlfriend and I visited Dunn's Rum Club at Sandals Dunn's River on the evening of her 30th birthday. It was our third visit in three days because we had genuinely enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and excellent service we had previously received, especially from JaShane. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely overshadowed by an interaction with a staff member named Shannelle. What began as a friendly conversation about the music playing and Jamaican artists quickly became uncomfortable and confrontational. I approached the discussion with genuine curiosity about Jamaican music and culture, but Shannelle repeatedly responded with hostility, dismissiveness, and rigid views about who she considered to be "truly Jamaican." Throughout the conversation, she made comments that implied people with Jamaican heritage, culture, or influence were somehow less valid if they did not meet her definition of being Jamaican. The discussion carried an exclusionary and prejudiced undertone that seemed directed at anyone she viewed as an outsider. Rather than engaging with the questions I was actually asking, she appeared determined to argue against assumptions she had made about me. At one point, she told me, "I know you have opinions that you're just not saying, and we are not on the same side," despite the fact that I had done nothing but express an interest in learning more about Jamaican music and culture. The interaction was confusing, disrespectful, and completely unprovoked. It left both my girlfriend and me feeling unwelcome, and another couple at the bar appeared equally uncomfortable. What made the experience even more disappointing was that every other person we met during our stay in Jamaica was warm, friendly, welcoming, and proud to share their culture with us. This brief encounter ultimately soured what should have been a special evening celebrating my girlfriend's 30th birthday. One negative interaction does not reflect the hospitality we experienced from nearly everyone else at Sandals Dunn's River, but it was disappointing that a staff member could make guests feel so unwelcome during what was supposed to be a memorable occasion. Unfortunately, Shannelle's behavior turned what should have been one of the highlights of our trip into its most disappointing moment. Read less

Our experience was absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end. Chadwick captured some of the most beautiful photos we’ve ever taken together. I came in with ideas for my flying dress photoshoot, and he took every vision I had and elevated it far beyond my expectations. His creativity, attention to detail, professionalism, and calm approach made every shot feel effortless. He captured every special moment with such ease and excellence, creating memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. The entire photography team was amazing—friendly, talented, and never pushy. Instead, they genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable and memorable. Incredible Dunns River Experince

We went to Sandals Dunn’s River on our honeymoon and we truly do not have anything bad to say! Our experience was wonderful. From the food, the service, the entertainment, everything! The property is absolutely beautiful and the pools and beaches are so nice! We loved how accessible everything was. If you were at the pool, you felt like you were still at the beach! The views are amazing. We also did not have a bad meal at dinner. Every restaurant was so yummy and everyone was so kind. We want to specifically shout out a few people that made our experience so awesome! Bartenders Mario, Jahvon, Sherwayne, and so many more were so personable and friendly. Entertainers Tiana, Jordan, and JoNeil were also INCREDIBLE! They were so kind and made being at the resort so fun. They always spoke and were intentional to make relationships with the guests. People like them make leaving so hard! We will definitely be back and will recommend this resort to everyone! Read less
