Edessa was our second favorite, again, the food was fantastic! The staff at Saltaire were always so happy and helpful! A huge shoutout to the chef who did the pasta bar every day! He made to order all different kinds of pastas that were simply fantastic! I also have to say the entertainment staff I cluing Becky, Kai, Jordan and the whole team really worked to make it a fun and festive environment for everyone! The beach was great. The pool always clean. Drinks were always available and towels replenished frequently. I could not think of a single thing they could improve on. Sandals Dunn River was absolutely THE BEST!! We stayed at Sandals Dunn's River from June 1-7 to celebrate our 20th anniversary and the honeymoon we never had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and made our celebration incredibly special. First, I highly recommend Club Mobay for both arrival and departure. The expedited immigration service made a huge difference after a long travel day and was well worth it. For transportation, we used the shared transfer to and from the resort. It was fine, but the bus had definitely seen better days. The driver and his assistant were fantastic, though. We did make a roughly 20-minute stop at a local shop along the way, which felt unnecessary after a long day of travel. Next time, we would likely choose a private transfer for a more direct experience. Upon arrival at Sandals Dunn's River, the Club Sandals team was incredibly welcoming and kind. We received a brief resort introduction while being escorted to our room, which was a nice touch. One thing I greatly appreciated was how seriously the resort takes food allergies. I met with the Culinary Concierge upon arrival to discuss my allergy, and every restaurant we visited asked about dietary restrictions before ordering. The food was consistently good. I especially loved the avocado toast at breakfast and found myself ordering it most mornings! While we're not big drinkers, we enjoyed several delicious cocktails throughout our stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room spotless, and our refrigerator was always stocked with water and Fruta juice, which quickly became one of my favorite treats. I wish I could find it in the States. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling excursion offered through the resort. The Sandals team leading the trip was knowledgeable, informative, and pointed out amazing marine life he might have otherwise missed. We took one off-resort excursion to the Luminous Lagoon in Montego Bay. The experience itself was memorable, but I was disappointed by the driver's erratic driving. I understand driving styles may differ, but when transportation is arranged through a resort, guest safety should be a top priority. Back at the resort, we loved the entertainment team and enjoyed plenty of pool and beach time. The competition for pool loungers is definitely real, but we were able to find good seating on several days. To celebrate our anniversary, we splurged on the candlelight dinner on the beach. It was absolutely worth it. The meal was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the accompanying photo session was wonderful. We also treated ourselves to a couples massage at Red Lane Spa, which was heavenly. Just be aware that there is some upselling during your spa visit. We also participated in the complimentary photo shoot and had a great time. Chadwick was our favorite photographer and made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Since my husband is a bit of a plant enthusiast, we joined the garden tour. Anthony and Christopher were incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the care and maintenance of the resort's beautiful flora and fauna. As a travel advisor, I did notice a few minor cosmetic issues around the resort, but nothing that impacted our overall experience. These appeared to be small maintenance items that I'm sure the resort is actively addressing. Based on our stay, I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Sandals Dunn's River to my clients, friends, or family members looking for a beautiful and memorable Jamaica getaway. In the end, what truly made this resort stand out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was kind, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. Sandals Dunn's River provided the perfect backdrop for celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we left with wonderful memories we'll cherish for years to come. Read less

They handled every question every request in any problem. Our room had a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. It was not a short trip from the airport, but it was worth it. We had a wonderful driver. His name was Ashley Sutherland. The rooms are impeccably clean. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my Allergy to down comforters and pillows. The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful. I have never felt so special as I did at this resort the staff were so friendly they would comeand sit with you and talk with you. The entertainment staff was fabulous. The management was fabulous. Bartenders are fabulous. The grounds are just absolutely beautiful clean. The pool is sparkling clean. The location at all my expectations of a relaxing vacation with much fun and great food. Every amenity you could think of was available. All the staff were wonderful. The photographers were not pushy and very professional and friendly. What really added to our stay was the dinner that they gave for returning loyalty customers it was beautiful and the food was delicious. Entertainment was great. The surroundings were just gorgeous.
