So, it takes a lot for me to leave my kiddo and home behind for a bit even if it is with my amazing hubby, Victor but I will always hold Sandals Dunn's River close to my heart after our stay this June and can't wait to get back. As soon as I stepped on the transport to the airport, I knew I was going to miss this beautiful place and all the beautiful people so tremendously! For instance, we had dinner at Banyu two nights in a row not only because the cuisine was so unbelievably delicious but because we wanted to visit with our new friends again, the chef - Vikram, and our wonderful friend-Tonishai and management who welcomed us like we'd been coming there for years. Now the Red Line spa has never disappointed but I can remember a massage I'd had in the past that I'd always been trying to top. Well, Chantai finally did just that. This massage is now the one to beat! While we were at the resort, our home team happen to be playing in the NBA finals so we found ourselves enjoying these nail-biting games at Dunn's Rum Club. The games were very intense but we were still able to have such a great time much due to the fact that our friend JaShane added to the fun and high-spirited environment. He made it that much more exciting and enjoyable and the music was perfect! Good times! These are just some our wonderful memories from this trip and I could go on for a while. You just know when you find a place that's got everything...beautiful accommodations, fun atmosphere, relaxing, and best of all people who are so full of love and joy that make you feel like you never wanna leave. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Vacation Thanks to an Incredible Staff Our stay at Sandals Dunn’s River was nothing short of amazing. The resort itself is absolutely stunning—the grounds are immaculate, the rooms are beautiful, the beaches and pools are gorgeous, and the food was consistently excellent. But what truly sets this resort apart isn’t the property…it’s the people. From the moment we woke up until we went to bed, the staff made us feel like family. By the end of our trip, it genuinely felt like we were leaving behind a group of friends. A special thank you to Jhonel (“Big Sexy”), who kept us laughing from start to finish. He is one of the funniest and most naturally entertaining people we’ve ever met. Whether he was making us laugh or singing us his own personal song, he made every day unforgettable. He has so much talent that I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see him become a famous comedian, MC, or singer one day. Jordan and Akeem were incredible as well. They didn’t just organize activities—they jumped right in with our group, played volleyball with us, spent time with us in the pool every day, and made us feel like we belonged there. Akeem even let me wear his name tag around the pool all day, which became one of the funniest memories of our trip. A big thank you to Kai, who was always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely happy to see us. Every interaction with him added to the fun atmosphere that made this resort so special. We also have to recognize Jovan (“Joe” from the Loyalty & Travel desk). He helped our group book our next Sandals vacation on just our second day, but what impressed us most was everything he did afterward. He came out to the pool to spend time with us, played multiple games of pool over several days, and even met us for breakfast on our last morning just to say goodbye. That’s not customer service—that’s genuine hospitality. And finally, Andre deserves a huge thank you. Every morning at breakfast he remembered exactly how we liked our drinks, and somehow we’d continue running into him all over the resort throughout the day and evening. No matter where we saw him, he always greeted us with a smile and took outstanding care of us. The employees at Sandals Dunn’s River are what make this resort truly exceptional. They don’t just provide great service—they build real connections with their guests. We arrived excited for a vacation, but we left feeling like we had made lifelong friends. Wendy jashane akera Tenesha These 4 made this trip EXTRA special. Sandals is always amazing to us but these 4 made us feel like family. My money will NEVER go anywhere else but sandals because of these 4, and all the amazing staff at sandals dunns river.

Second time visiting and won’t be our last!!! This has become our favorite resort.

Second trip to Sandals Dunn’s and it won’t be our last We had a wonderful vacation at Sandals Dunns River, this was our second trip and will not be our last. I can’t wait to go back!!! The resort is so beautiful, has a smaller footprint, but a bougie vibe to it. We loved everything about it….from the staff, to the restaurant food options and the delicious beverages. The rooms here are beautiful no matter what category you choose. This time we could only book the luxury level and it did not disappoint!We had a room with an indoor soaking tub, dual sinks, beautiful tile, shower, etc. The rum club remains one of our “favorite go to spots” at this resort and a huge shout out to Gabrielle. He remembered us from our last trip, as well our drink preferences and made our return extra special! Gabrielle, we can’t thank you enough and can’t wait to come back! I would also like to give a shout out to Ackeem, Denzil, Latona, Shanice, Deshane and Liandre. You guys know how to keep your guests energized and entertained…all while providing excellent service and loads of laughs! We LOVED spending our evenings at the room club. The staff there is the best of the best! We were also so anxious to see Jermaine again who was the manager of the rum club but now oversees the Greek restaurant Seaside Grill, and the jerk shack. He made our trip so special and we enjoyed talking with him daily. The entertainment team here is top notch and shout out to Jhoneil ( aka big sexy), Tiana and Rebecca Jane. We interacted with them the most. They work hard to ensure all guests are enjoying themselves and feel at home. Events leader, Suzette, was so welcoming and always checking on us which we appreciated. I can’t name the servers at all of the restaurants, but Jahvoy deserves huge accolades…. He also recognized us from August and immediately welcomed us back and checked in daily to make sure all was good. He took good care of us at the breakfast buffet. Honestly, we felt at home wherever we went. Staff did everything they could to make sure we were having a great time. Our favorite restaurant remains the Italian. Chef Macimilliano is fabulous! You must try the banana dessert! Also regarding food don’t pass up the oxtail sliders and french fries at the Rum club, they are to die for! We did room service on our last morning for breakfast because our flight departed earlier, and it was wonderful!!! We really enjoyed the Beach party! My favorite, aside from the music and entertainment was the fresh grilled lobster tails! Delish!! Blum coffee shop is really good too. It was our go to after morning walks and before breakfast. Don’t miss the spa! We loved the services there, as well as the steam room, the cold plunge pool and hot tub…. All available even if you don’t book spa services. I really enjoyed the Steele band, Cello and saxophone playing during the morning hours while eating breakfast or lounging by the pool. Our visit in March was non-typically cool and therefore we didn’t spend a lot of time in the pool but still had a great time a drink. A favorite faite by the pool was piña colada with 12-year rum, Yum! I also appreciate how clean our room was kept in the turn down service every night. The housekeeping staff probably doesn’t get recognized as much as they should but a clean room, fresh towels and freshly made bed is much appreciated! I also enjoyed the snacks and chocolate which we have not had at other resorts. We chose to do a private transfer to the resort and the general transfer back to the airport.
