I love the total Sandals experience. I've been attending different Sandals resorts for the last 7 years, and enjoy the family feel they all give. This year has been at Dunn's River. The entertainment team is amazing at getting the guests involved. Tiana, Akeem, and Jhoniel are so friendly and attentive. I will miss them when we leave.

Where do we even start?! My husband and I got married at Sandals Dunn’s River on July 17, 2026, and from the moment we arrived, every employee welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness. We stayed from July 14–25 for our wedding and honeymoon, with 50 guests traveling from all over to celebrate with us. Sandals Dunn’s River did an outstanding job handling such a large group. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about their trips. The way this resort handles and organizes weddings is truly out of this world. From our bags being brought to our rooms, to the cleanliness, incredible views, amazing food, and especially the warmth of the employees, this truly felt like the trip of a lifetime. However, I certainly hope it won’t be once in a lifetime because my husband, our families, and our guests already cannot wait to go back someday! THE WEDDING TEAM The wedding team at Sandals Dunn’s River is top-notch, and we have to start with Tonii-Ann. She was amazing from the very beginning. If you are planning your wedding here, rest assured: you are being taken care of. Tonii-Ann is one of the hardest-working, most creative, and most patient people I have ever met. The day before our festivities began, she spent hours with me and my family making sure everything was perfect. She listened to every single thought we had and brought so many great ideas of her own. Throughout this entire journey, we truly built a bond with her, and by the end of the trip, we considered her one of our friends. Leading up to the wedding, we were incredibly well taken care of. Whenever we needed her, she was there. Her leadership made this experience so special. I would trust her with my life! She was with us every step of the way throughout our wedding week and helped make everything perfect. We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding events. Our Welcome Party Cocktail Hour, beach dinner, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception, and day-after catamaran cruise were all incredible. One of our guests’ favorite experiences was our Welcome Party dinner on the beach. We also had fire dancers perform that evening. They were sourced from outside the resort and were incredibly talented and kind. Unfortunately, the beach was not available for our ceremony, but it ended up not being a problem at all. The Coyaba Pavilion was beautiful, shaded, and the pictures online truly do not do it justice. We originally planned to have our reception outdoors, but during our planning session the day before, Tonii-Ann, my family, and I decided to move it to the brand-new Grand Ballroom. I am SO glad we did! Having air conditioning was a lifesaver. We were still sweating from partying and dancing so much, so I cannot imagine how hot we would have been outdoors! We also rearranged the locations of our welcome and wedding-day cocktail hours to make everything closer and more cohesive. The only downside was that I had worked very hard beforehand to perfect itineraries for our guests, so some of the information became inaccurate once we made those last-minute changes. But, of course, Tonii-Ann had it handled! She had updated itineraries delivered to every one of our guests’ rooms. I thought that was such a thoughtful touch. At no point did we or our guests feel confused about where we needed to be. Before events, Tonii-Ann would even have our group meet in the lobby and personally lead everyone to the correct location. Our day-after catamaran cruise was also unforgettable, and I am so happy we chose to do it with our group. One tip for future wedding couples: we overestimated how many people would actually attend. We planned and paid for 47 people, but about 30 ended up coming. The day after a wedding, some guests are understandably tired or decide they want to do their own excursions. You do need to provide a headcount months in advance, and even though we asked everyone to RSVP, you ultimately cannot control people’s decisions. Looking back, I wish we had been more conservative with our estimated headcount. RED LANE SPA & SALON I also have to talk about Red Lane! I had some of the best hair and makeup of my LIFE. I am not joking. Kedene absolutely knocked my bridal look out of the park for both our Welcome Party and wedding day. We essentially used the Welcome Party as my trial, and she switched up my hair that night so we wouldn’t spoil the surprise of my actual bridal hairstyle. She was incredible. My mom, mother-in-law, and other family members also had services at the salon, and the other stylists were wonderful. They made everyone feel and look gorgeous. During our honeymoon, I also had the most amazing massage from Amanda. After all of the planning and excitement that came with organizing a destination wedding for 50 people, it was EXACTLY what I needed! She was wonderful and made the experience so relaxing. She even recommended a relaxation CBD oil from the spa that I absolutely LOVE!! I brought it home with me and still use it all the time! It was the perfect addition to our relaxing honeymoon week. THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR WEEK SO SPECIAL Renee was absolutely incredible and helped me throughout our wedding night. My husband’s and my drinks were never empty! She made sure we were fed, had enough to drink, helped with everything from the cake cutting to helping me use the bathroom in my wedding dress — Renee was THERE! There was another member of the wedding team whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, and I wish I could. She was so bubbly and wonderful and truly made our experience special. I am hoping to find a picture of her to attach to this review because she deserves recognition too! Of course, we cannot forget Andre and DiAndre. These two made the trip so memorable for us, our families, and our guests. We absolutely adored them and considered them family by the end of the trip. They treated us with so much kindness. Honestly, we have never been treated as wonderfully as we were by the employees at Sandals Dunn’s River. The entertainment team was incredible as well. Tiana, Jordan, Yuri, and Akeem were so thoughtful and kind. Every time we saw them, we got a warm hello and usually ended up chatting with them. It genuinely felt like we had made new friends and become part of a little community while we were there. They do such an amazing job creating that feeling throughout the resort. And we CANNOT forget Simon!!! The DJ at the pool and Rum Club was amazing. My friends and I had the TIME OF OUR LIVES dancing at Rum Club a few nights before the wedding. He knew exactly how to get the party started! OUR RONDOVAL HONEYMOON Once our friends and family left, my husband and I stayed behind for our honeymoon. We were incredibly blessed and thankful to move into a Rondoval for our final five days. After such a busy and exciting wedding week, this part of our trip was filled with tranquility and relaxation — exactly what we needed. The Rondoval experience was truly one of a kind. The private pool, gorgeous luxury-style villa, and peacefulness were absolutely beautiful. Most importantly, our butlers, Akeem and Nicholas, were out of this world. They were SO accommodating and gave us incredible service. They even brought us lunch twice on the floating heart tray, which became one of the highlights of our honeymoon. They completely spoiled us. Just like so many of the employees we met throughout our stay, they were kind, thoughtful, and incredibly hardworking. There is SO much more I could say, but I don’t think TripAdvisor will let me write an entire novel! Hopefully our pictures speak volumes. Overall, this was truly the trip of a lifetime. I cried about five times before we left. After everything it took for us to finally get there, seeing how beautifully it all came together was incredibly emotional. We could not have asked for a better wedding, honeymoon, or experience. Sandals Dunn’s River and the people who work there will always hold such a special place in our hearts.
