Beware of the bait and switch. After a long day of travel, we were escorted to our Travertine Beachfront Club level room and were greeted with wonderful views of...a roof covered in artificial grass, the side of the building next to us and the tops of palm trees. I've attached pictures of the room description from the Sandals website and what the view was from room 1206. We immediately told them the room was unacceptable, since the reason we chose the room category was for the views shown online. We felt completely deceived by Sandals. This was our 4th Sandals trip and one that we had really looked forward to taking. They finally moved us to a higher floor after two days but we feel like we paid for a 7 day beachfront vacation and only got 5 days. After we returned, I registered a complaint with Sandals, telling them that the rooms on the 2nd floor should be classified as obstructed view, and not be considered Travertine Beachfront Club because the discrepancies between website and reality are just too great. Sandals has tried to do the absolute minimum. They offered points worth $250 that can be used for a future overpriced vacation. Baffling way to treat repeat customers that have gone to Sandals the past 3 years and 4 trips in total. We were planning on going to Sandals every year for our anniversary for the foreseeable future now that the kids are grown, but may need to find a new brand. I wrote them back and have heard nothing from Sandals for nearly 5 days now. I guess I should take that as a blow off. One Love! Read less

My wife and I spent many of our nights at Dunns River “Rum Club”. Each night that we went, the service was incredible. The staff learned our names, our drinks, and appetizers. Shashawna and Gabriel provided the best experience for us. Their humor and level of service was top notch. 10/10 recommend spending your nights at the Rum Club!

Everything was amazing: the property, our room, the variety of restaurants and most of all the staff. Shout out to Hensue, at the Plaza Bar, who created new drinks and treated us like family. Other exceptional members of the bar team were Rajae, Tyrell and Ketcha. Entertainment at this resort is one of the best of Sandals resorts. We were lucky enough to be on property during Jamaica’s Emancipation Day and Independence Day and both were spectacular. The food and service at all the restaurants were top notch.
