Although we didn’t get a chance to even meet them all and didn’t memorize all of the names, I do want to give credit to many of them on the entertainment staff who showed up with huge smiles every day and took the time to be personable including Tiana, Omanda, Akeem, Conrad (Connie), and many others! Gareth is an excellent butler who consistently impressed us with his ability to be everywhere at once and recall small details. HUGE shoutout to an employee who snorkeled until he found my husband’s prescription sunglasses he lost during water sports - and I wish we got his name but it happened on 5/8/26. The food was GOOD! Not every single dish was amazing, but so many of them were - especially that breakfast buffet!! And the chefs were so willing to accommodate for all of the food sensitivities in our party, we never felt like an inconvenience. And the coffee shop - awesome! We took advantage of the daily activities, the cold plunge and sauna, and the shuttle to nearby Sandals resorts. We were very happy with our experience here! Read less

We thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling daily and the island routes tour to Dunns River falls is a must for adventure seekers! All staff members we encountered were incredibly genuine and helpful. You will not regret staying here! If you can fly into Ian Fleming airport - there is only 1 gate - sandals was able to arrange for a taxi for us to leave much later than they had planned for us which is the way to go! We signed a waiver and were able to enjoy some extra Jamaican sunshine instead of sitting at a gate without any shopping for 3 hours. Read less

We have been to Jamaica a dozen times but this was our first trip to Ocho Rios. So glad we chose Sandal’s Dunn’s River to explore this magical part of Jamaica. From the moment we arrived, Sandal’s Dunn’s River exceeded all our expectations! We stayed in the Rondoval suites with a private pool and semi-private swim-up pool. It’s not a beach view suite but very quiet and private. The resort is compact so you could be on the beach or at the main pool in just a few minutes and the fantastic coffee shop, Blum, was just steps away from the Rondovals. We always choose butler suites and have had some amazing butlers, but Eshaan and Dejhanae really impressed us this trip. They made both my birthday and our anniversary so special with amazing surprises. No detail was too small or request too big. They were top notch and we loved getting to know them. Sandals is very lucky to have such talented women on their team. The resort also has a Rum Club which had amazing Caribbean rums (try flight #6) as well as incredible specialty cocktails. A shout out to Denzel for getting the party going on our first night at the Rum Club. The Run Club also has delicious small bites - the pepper shrimp and oxtail sliders are must tries. We also enjoyed getting to know Javon at the Lapidus bar. He made great conversation along with drinks! Don’t miss Lapidus for a before dinner cocktail- the champagne cocktail and Morris’ manhattan were some of the best drinks at the resort. We enjoyed all the restaurants but the beef medallions at L’amande, the French restaurant, were the best we have had anywhere in the Caribbean. The steak and eggs breakfast at Edessa also should not be missed. During our stay when we weren’t enjoying our Rondoval, we enjoyed hanging out on the beach. There always was a breeze and the water was crystal clear with vibrant turquoise and azure hues. There is a small bar near the Jerk Shack (another restaurant not to be missed for lunch for local flavors) and one of the bartenders, Andre, was great - so friendly and upbeat. There are numerous water sports available at the resort, including paddle boards, hobbies cats, kayaks, waterskiing and tubing. There also are numerous daily activities in and around the two large pools. You will never be bored or far from an adult beverage. We had such an amazing experience and will definitely be back to Sandals Dunn’s River! Read less

The only complaint we would have is the same as most everyone else has complained about. The beach and pool chairs availability. Unless you get up about 5:30 am forget about it. They are already taken by the butlers. I would like to give a big shout out to one of the sweetest ladies we met. That is Rebecca Jane who is part of the entertainment activity group. She was absolutely sweet, fun, and very engaging. Always up for a hug. We really loved our time with her. Another gal we really enjoyed was Jada in the Loyalty & Travel Team office. She is so fun, always a smile and remembers you. She made booking our next trip a breeze. We will miss these two gals very much! More shout outs to Tasheca our bartender at the Beach Bar. The girl can make great cocktails! However, no one at this resort can make Margaritas. All of the other Sandal's resort have made great ones, but not at Dunn's River. Shout out to Shamoya who met us upon arrival and took us to our room. She's so fun, sweet and has a great personality. Christopher the gift shop manager who we met at the Sandals Select Reward Dinner. Very classy gentleman, we enjoyed our conversations with him.
