We stayed for two weeks in June, our first time at Dunn's River. The resort is stunning, our room was great and food probably the best out of the various Sandal's resorts we have visited. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, in particular, the dive team of Javaii, Sheldon, Oshane, Odane, Kenny and various others. The girls in the office were also great but sadly I can't remember their names. Also thanks to Venecia, our room attendant and Dino, our minibar attendant, they both looked after us very well. Aneka, the egg chef in Saltaire in the mornings was amazing, always efficient when there were about five pans on the go and a great memory for what you liked to order. Toni-Ann, a bar tender, always a pleasure to chat with and such fun. We had met her a couple of years ago when visiting the resort from Ochi and she remembered us. :) We will definitely be making a return visit. Read less

This was my first stay at a sandals resort and it was absolutely wonderful. My family and I celebrated my uncle and aunts 50th wedding anniversary. Even when I did not know what I wanted to drink he always made something delicious and tasty. Go see Gabrielle in the rum bar He was awesome. He makes excellent shots and cocktails. He will even balance your cocktail on his head while bringing it to your table.The chef Trayvone in the rum bar was great and accommodating I made sure we had enough food. The food in the rum bar was always tasty. The DJ (can’t remember his name) at the rum bar who we also met in the Greek restaurant was always nice and friendly whenever we saw him. There were a good amount of activities day and night. The rooms were nice and spacious. The whole property was always clean and well maintained. If we ever needed the mini fridge restocked, we got exactly what we wanted. All of the food everywhere was good. But our overall favorite thing were the sliders in the room bar. I would definitely stay at another sandals resort and hope that my experience would be just as good as this one. Read less

The atmosphere was totally wonderful - nuff jokes!! Our room was beautifully clean and very spacious with balcony. The hotel's various gardens were truly gorgeous and well looked after. There are many restaurants within the hotel and you will be spoilt for choice. You must visit the Jerk Shack - sublimely wonderful food! If you love coffee, visit Blum which is in the complex having the authentic Blue Mountain coffee on tap, plus with lots of varying delicious Jamaican pastries - OMG, gizzada 😋!! Big, big big, shout outs to the wonderful staff below at Sandals Dunns River who we encountered during our seven day stay who we will love forever and now have a place deep in our hearts. Rickell, a senior manager 😘 who saw my husband and I looking for the rooftop bar and gym, and escorted us there and told us all about how wonderful Sandals were to their staff and customers during hurricane Melissa when we asked how it was when it hit the hotel. Elizabeth (and another colleague) - who unbeknown to us, both decorated our room with red petals and leaving us a gorgeous chocolate cake plus a wedding anniversary wishes card from the Sandals family! We had absolutely no idea how they were aware we had a wedding anniversary approaching! We were so shocked by that lovely display, though thinking we were in the wrong room! This gesture was so touching and will always be remembered Elizabeth! Rachel W. who worked in 3 of the restaurants we visited for her pleasant, cheerful and her infectious happy disposition. She really looked after us - hubby, sister and her partner - so very well indeed! Kimone - For her fabulous assistance to us at the Jerk Shack daily who was very wekcoming and always had a beautiful smile on her face! And Rushell - a truly lovely lady who remembered my name throughout our stay and who I nicknamed 'brown eyes' - thanks so much for the carrot juice which was absolutely enjoyed that afternoon! Romario and Locardo - two very nice young men who were so attentive at breakfast and are assets to Sandals! Jahvon - For his excellent service to us at breakfast every time he was on duty! Randy - So pleasant at the front desk, making our stay a truly white glove experience. King - Who served with excellence and brought us good food we did not even know about. The man at the front desk of the sushi restaurant (I cannot remember his name). Being an over the top host and genuinely interested in what we thought of the food! The man greeting where the buses arrived (cannot remember his name either). But he was so friendly everyday and so consistent!
