This is an amazing resort. We stayed in the Mammee Bay building. It is the perfect location for us. The dive shop, beach, pools and restaurants were all very close. The place is immaculately clean and the help was all helpful and accommodating. There was very little to complain about after a week.

They literally made our stay feel like a 2nd home. Toni-Ann saw us on our first night and invited us to the beach party the next evening! The next day, Rebecca-Jane was our trivia host at the swim up bar and invited us to dance through the night at the Beach Party! Akeem, caught us walking to the pool and invited me to come play pool volleyball, from then until we left he made sure to come speak and show us love at everything! Melissa was great at the bar, Omanda and Jordan they were involved in the game show and Omanda pulled me to be a volunteer and made me Dunns River famous for the rest of our trip haha. On our last day today, Nagaree and Tracey-Lee were amazing helping us with our photos we took and made sure to help us get them before we left. We stayed at Sandal’s Dunn’s River for our anniversary in May 2026. This resort is probably our favorite Sandals we have stayed at to date. We stayed in room category B1B. The room was amazing and the view was even better. We had coffee and pastries on our balcony every morning and enjoyed watching the water sports activities during the day. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the resort is easily walkable. A very special shout out to our butler Rock Wayne. He did all he could to make our trip as special as possible. Any request we had- he was on top of. He was funny, kind and a blast to chat with. We will be sure to request him on our next trip to Dunn’s! Kimeka was our second butler and she was very nice helpful as well. She set up a nice anniversary dinner on our balcony for us. The entertainment was great and the entire entertainment team was fun and engaging. They always made sure to make everyone feel included. Shout out to Johniel and Akeem! The beach party on Friday nights is a must- don’t miss it. We used the Red Lane Spa for the first time and it was amazing. We did the couples massage. Chantai (might be misspelled) and Antoinette were our therapists and both were very good. The spa was beautiful and we utilized the cold and hot plunges. Next, I’d like to shout out Chadwick in photography. We met him early on in our trip and talked with him throughout the whole week. He took lots of photos for us (including a scheduled session) and was genuinely one of the most chill and fun people we met. The bar staff everywhere was always on top of things even when it got really busy (like during the pool party). They always made drinks quickly and with a smile. Shout out to Andre and Alshane at the swim up bar. The loyalty team is amazing as well. We didn’t attend the returning guest dinner but we did rebook with Jada who was so fun to talk to and she helped us narrow down where to go for our next trip. She also made sure we got our bottle of rum despite not attending the dinner. She also assisted with fixing an issue with our SSG points by calling and working that out. Another shout out to Big Jo! He made sure to wave and say hi anytime we saw him. Big Jo is the way to go!! We visited water sports a few times trying to decide if we wanted to get our dive certification or not. My husband has never dove so we ultimately decided on snuba to get a taste for what it would be like before going forward. Everyone at water sports was so nice and informative on the different courses offered and what our options looked like. We had a blast with snuba! The food was excellent. We didn’t have any bad meals. There are plenty of options to choose from and you’ll never be hungry. Our favorites were Banyu, Hanami, and L’amande. Shout out to Jermaine at L’amande who was a blast and made sure we had full drinks! My husband asked him to bring him his personal favorite drink and he delivered. Overall, we had a great time at Sandal’s Dunn’s River and we will definitely be returning in the future. Read less

This was our 4th Sandals vacation and our 1st at Dunns River. This resort experience was the best we've had, hands down! The staff are just terrific - they are all so helpful and always smiling. It's obvious that they are very happy working at Dunns, and it shows in all the care and attention they give to the guests. Jovan and Sharon in the Loyalty Lounge were so helpful and served us some delicious drinks on arrival. We saw Jovan a lot while on the resort, and he was always smiling and happy to ask how everything was going for us. Ashley was wonderful to us, as well - always at our beck & call, asking if we need anything! Stephanie, who served us drinks on the beach, was just terrific! Antoinette, behind the bar, was just as sweet as she could be and made us some great drinks! Tonishae (sp?), server at the Asian restaurant, was just awesome and so fun! King, the manager, was also so attentive. We saw King helping out at other restaurants, as well, and he always made sure to check on us. Romaine and Jermaine at the French restaurant were truly wonderful to us, as well. The entire entertainment staff really knocked it out of the park! Big Sexy (can't remember real name) was SO FUN, as was Shawn. I'm just sorry that I can't remember ALL the names to give them props, as well. Javoy at Salt Air was always looking for us in the mornings, which really made us feel special. He took great care of us! I could go on and on. I truly believe the reason this resort is so stellar is largely due to the great management of Sandals at Dunns River General Manager, Kevin, and his team.
