My experience was great!! I have celiac disease and the staff/kitchen were amazing with accommodating my dietary restrictions. Major shout out to the entertainment team!! I had a great time with Rebecca Jane and Akeem while there!! Relaxing and fun trip!

Incredible stay at Sandals Dunns River. The highlight for us was the rum bar and Miss Shannice. The premade rum flights were great but you have to ask for the secret! This would be Shannice’s Lucky Numbers Flight (7, 10 and 12). You will not be disappointed! Your palate will never forget!

We previously visited Sandals Dunn's River over the New Year's holiday as a couple, and we had such a great time that we decided to come back with our young adult daughters to introduce them to the Sandals experience. From the moment we stepped off the shuttle bus from the airport we were surrounded by love and attention from the Sandals staff, both those we knew from our previous visit and those we were meeting for the first time. We were treated to a great dinner by our server Mercina at Zuka the first evening, and we loved both the Central American food and the colorful venue. We had another amazing family meal at Banyu on our final night, where sous-chef Vikram created specialty sushi rolls for all of us while taking our dietary preferences into account. We were pampered daily at the Saltaire buffet breakfasts by servers Orwen and Andre, who welcomed us with smiles, cheer, and small surprises from the kitchen. Our family became fast friends with everyone on and around the entertainment team: Hennessy, Omanda, Rebecca-Jane, Akeem, Ray, Tiana, Johvan, Johneil, Jordan, Conrad, Jada, Akeelah, and Shivia. We danced with them at the beach and the rum club, sang with them at karaoke, play pool volleyball, and watched as many of the entertainment shows as possible (we particularly enjoyed opera with Rory and the fire dancers at the beach party). The other favorite part of the vacation was definitely the Red Lane Spa. All four of us got massages on one day and facials on another, and we visited several additional times to use the hot/cold plunge pools or just float in the central pool. We spotted hummingbirds several times, which just added to our delight. Some of the employees who made our visits amazing are Gwendolyn, Sue Ann, Sascha, Reuben (thanks for the dance moves), Terod, Riley, Taniesha, Donique, Horatio, and Amlak. We have visited Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, and Montego Bay and we have plans to visit others as time permits, but Dunn's River has really captured our hearts and earned a place as our favorite. Let's start with ORWEN THOMAS, He went so far beyond what anyone should do to make Lori's day special. From special drinks to sweet treats while she basked beside the pool. He even wrote her a handwritten note at breakfast so she knew the day was all hers. I believe ORWEN is a credit to Sandals and should be recognized for his work ethic. He would make a superb butler and has the aspirations to do so. If you do Saltiere for breakfast or lunch, you will not find another host who will make you feel more welcome. Next for Lunch or an early dinner. ROMARIO PALMER brings a finesse and grace to the open-air pizza shop that makes you want to go back multiple times a day. He always has a smile on his face and will never shy away from talking with a guest who has questions. Last time here, he went out of his way to cook my Lion Fish for me. Unfortunately, this time I did not get any large enough to eat. ROMARIO belongs at the head of a restaurant, making guests feel special. We love him to death. The Dive Shop is second to none. SHELDON LOBBAN, OSHANE HARPER, MARVIN McKNIGHT, KENNY HILL, LINCOLN, and ODANE all make the time spent above and below the water enjoyable. It is wonderful to walk onto the dock and be greeted with smiles, hugs, and fist bumps. Then, when it is time to leave, the same folks are genuinely sad to see you leave. They have become like a second family to me. Please take good care of them for me when you visit. SHANTELL in the Bloom coffee shop made our evening almost every night. You obviously can't go to Dunn's River without enjoying the coffee. We met her on 9/25. When we walked in the door on 5/26 she remembered our order to perfection. What more can you say than AMAZING!! JADA in the travel office was extremely helpful. She patiently answered a barrage of questions about club levels and what our free week would look like. She even walked us to our dinner that evening. If I could have someone run the marketing department at our company half as efficiently as her, our business would be more than we could keep up with. OMANDA, she remembered us from 9/25 and chatted excitedly with my wife from the minute they saw each other. She was not afraid to trade funny remarks with me, which made it all the more fun. I promised her I would bring my taser and handcuffs on the next trip if she did not try to behave. Somehow, I feel like my battery may die before that happens. :P If you are looking for somewhere spectacular and with genuine people who make you feel like royalty, please visit our friends at Dunn's River. Akeem was also amazing — so vibrant, energetic, and fun to be around. His positive energy was contagious. Jordan was very polite, energetic, and just an all-around fun person who made every interaction enjoyable. And “Big Sexy,” one of the singers, was so sweet, professional, and incredibly talented. His voice was absolutely amazing! The bartenders Andre and Aljay worked so well together and kept everyone entertained all day long with their comic relief and top-notch energy.
