Longshore Beachfront Two-Story One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Tranquillity Soaking Tub are newly renovated suites, spread over two levels. The first floor features a spacious living area complete with smart TV and Bluetooth surround bar, and the floating staircase leads to the second floor which has the bedroom, a luxurious bathroom with bath tub and rain shower, and balcony complete with Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, from which to enjoy views of the beach and ocean. Another special shoutout to David, Briana, and Ashley Ann from the entertainment team. Everyone is incredible and we can’t wait to come back and experience their energy all over again!

Impeccable Service at Sandals Negril

My husband and I went to Sandals Negril in Jamaica to celebrate our retirement. From our arrival the service was impeccable. We chose a butler suite, and while we arrived quite a bit later than expected, our butler stayed late to show us around and get us settled in our suite. The rooms and grounds are impeccably maintained. The beach is beautiful and the water is so warm and blue. Fun beach entertainers wander by but are never pushy. While there are a lot of excursions offered, we chose to stay on the resort property and did not regret it. The food is great, but we especially enjoyed The Sundowner, Brava, and the Crema that were all top level. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, but a big shout-out to our butlers, Damion and Wadea, beautiful souls who catered to our every desire with professionalism that was also warm and friendly. You won't be disappointed if you request them as your butlers. We also saw some very good evening entertainment. We found that it seemed to be designed for a younger crowd who wanted a more party vibe. Nevertheless, we enjoyed every minute and think that you won't regret choosing Sandals Negril for your vacation. The Jamaican people are warm, hospitable, and display a warm love for their country. World Class Entertainment!

I will start my review with 2 words and those two words are... King James! The entire Sandals Negril entertainment team (Leon, David, Shanice, Ashliann, Izzy, Brianna, Kenny Deandrè and KJ are fantastic. I suppose I'll qualify myself by divulging the fact that I have been in entertainment for over 40 years. I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician, Vocalist, comedian and former personality on WNYC 93.9 in New York. I've worked everything from cruise ships to night clubs and corporate gigs. Even did a USO tour in 1991 for the troops while they were deployed in the Middle East. Anyway, enough of me showing how old I am. ..... This team is the best on any Sandals site that we've visited and we're one night away from a free week. I don't mean to pigeonhole them by saying "Best at Sandals" but it needs to be said. Aside from that, these folks are better than any entertainment team I've seen on any Resort of any brand anywhere, any theme Park and any cruise ship. BTW Leon is a fantastic MC. Great mic technique, sir. Leon is a great crowd motivator. Before I saw the Sandals Negril entertainment team, my favorite group was a two-way tie between the Sonesta Resort in Hurghada Egypt and the entertainment team at the Intercontinental in Doha (Qatar) With that said I'll say that the Sandals Negril entertainers can certainly hold their own when put beside any of the well produced crews in Vegas, Branson, Nashville, ect. Yes they are really that good. Remembering all those steps (including Aquatics and acrobatics) from their NUMEROUS performances (different routnes daily) through out the week and still finding time to mingle and interact with guests is bananas. It's not like they finish a performance, run out and shake hands and then bounce back to the dressing room. You see these folks all day. Today is our tenth day on resort and I have yet to see them practice and yes I know where their rehersal space is. They must be using it for Mime Training because: NOTaPeepMon... So...about KJ... King James is a rare talent. He is truly the Best OF the best. I will certainly get to the performance aspect of this guy but, when interacting with the guests? He is so personable and has an innate ability to read people and match their energy. I saw that first hand a BUNCH of times. He actually may be a bit of an empath. I know a lot of Caribbean people own that trait. That's one of the things that makes them so wonderful to be around but KJ subconsciously uses his gift to Sandal's benefit. I can go on and on about him and his personality but I'd like to speak to his abilities as a performer. Obviously you guys have seen poker players and you know that they have their “tells“, right? Well performers have tells also. Usually only other performers are able to pick them out but they are things like when a performer counts their steps and you can see them counting their steps silently with their mouth. Some performers tend to "mirror" the teammate across from them or “side eye“ the performer beside them so they can keep track of where they are in the routine. There are many many tells but those are just a couple of the biggies. Anyway I'm a performer with OCD and needless to say: I see Everything!!! I can't help it. King James shows no signs of anything other than being Locked In. I know I'm going on and on about this guy like he's my cousin or something but I met him 11 days ago. He's that good. I would say he's one of those "rising tide" performers. You know how they say "A rising tide raises all boats"? As good as they are, I'm sure King James inspires his teammates to be better. Kathy and I are proud to host any of these individuals in the U.S. anytime they want. OUR TREAT! Ps. As I sit here writing this, i am watching the general manager of the property bus tables and it's not for a photo op. She's not just a boss lady. She's a team member that leads by example. I haven't had words with her but her personality bled through during her monolog at the returning guest's dinner. She's a sweetheart. Lastly... Beautiful Beach

We have just spent 10 nights at Sandals Negril. This was our first time at a Sandals hotel so was unsure what to expect. We stayed in a Paradise beachfront grande luxe club level room. On arrival at airport we were met by a friendly Sandals member and shown to the Sandals lounge, where after about 20 minutes we were shown to our transport and made our way to the hotel. Be prepared for a journey that takes about 1.5 hours so take a bottle of water with you. We arrived at hotel at 11.30pm and first impressions weren't great as when we walked into reception area all we could hear was really loud music coming from near the Bayside bar. There was only one gentleman on the front desk and no one there to greet us with a drink or cold towels. We were left standing around in reception area for a while whilst it seemed like they contacted some other members of staff to come and help. Someone else did then come with a drink and cold towels and eventually we were shown to our room. Part of the club level that we paid for should include priority check in, but this didn't happen. Our room was on the second floor and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The room was spacious with big bed, seating area, outside table and chairs, spirits which included gin, rum, vodka, whisky & red wine. A fridge that had water, coke, fruit juice, white wine, champagne & beer. There was a kettle and coffee machine. The bathroom was quite small and was very dated. Whilst we had a great view and that's what we enjoyed waking up to see each morning these rooms are dated. The housekeeping service was extremely inconsistent as some days our room didn't get cleaned until 4pm. I asked for this to be between 11 & 1 if possible which happened for 2 days then it reverted back to late afternoon. Sometimes you would get plenty of towels and other times you wouldn't. Also like the bathroom amenities of body wash, sometimes this was replaced and other times you had to wait a couple of days for it. The turn down service needs improving, as our room wasn't made up until approximately 4pm each day then at 6.15 they want to do turn down. That's when we would be getting ready to go out and is far too early for a turn down evening service. The choice and quality of food in all restaurants is excellent. Breakfast unfortunately can be quite stressful as there are birds swooping in and landing on your table and will take food off your plate. Our favourite restaurant in the evening was Brava. The food was excellent, the ambience of the restaurant was lovely and the service was outstanding. We went on the glass bottom boat which was really good as the watersports team member was pointing out things and we got to see lots of fish, star fish & even saw a turtle. We only watched the entertainment a couple of times as we liked to go to the piano bar after dinner for a drink. The entertainment that we did see was good. This Sandals is a small resort which we really like. The beach is absolutely beautiful, but be prepared to get up early if you want a lounger on the beach. The thing that makes this hotel is the gorgeous beach and the staff. The following staff members absolutely made a difference to our holiday and are a credit to Sandals - Lois & Trevolyn in Perla, Earl the bar supervisor, Willis & Keith in Piano bar, Shellece in Brava & Bayside, Sanoy in Brava & Shantel on the front desk. This resort is lovely but does need improvements in some areas. By far the best thing is the beach and the above named team members who were outstanding, so thank you to them for making our trip enjoyable. Read less
