515 rooms and suites. The Great House and Butler Villas are located on the hillside of St. Ann Mountains, perfect for a more private romantic setting. Guests can use the complimentary shuttle service to the Riviera Seaside and Ochi Beach Club which is located across the road and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and facilities.

All rooms include air-conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi access, telephone, iPod dock with alarm clock, private bath/shower, amenity kit, coffee maker, mini-bar stocked with bottled water, juice, soda and local beer, safe, iron and board, hairdryer and 1 king-size bed. This review is past due. My wife and I went back to Sandals Ocho for our 20 year wedding anniversary. This is where we got married with the amazing Sandals "Weddingmoon". I am making this post and rating based on how Sandals took care of some issues and concerns we had. If we are all being honest, we all fall short at times. Sandals fell short of our expectations at the beginning of this trip. Our room had issues. Housekeeping had issues. The issues could have absolutely ruined our anniversary vacation. In part, the measure of a service or product is how a company responds when there is an issue. This is when Executive Housekeeper, KARLENE RITCHIE, and Director of Services, MAXINE WILLIAMS, came to our rescue. These two angels did everything in their power to make things right. I honestly cannot say enough about these ambassadors of Sandals. Truth be told, this property was going through renovations and there were a lot of issues. But at the end of the day OUTSTANDING and CARING employees like KARLENE and MAXINE is what makes the difference. Sandals better do whatever they need to do in order to keep AMAZING employees like KARLENE and MAXINE because it is ONLY because of these two that I am leaving a 5 STAR REVIEW and would consider retuning to this SANDALS property. They are the most considerate persons. We have had treats in our room, flowers, notes, fancy towel animals and they made it a point to make sure we were taken care of. Special shout out to Lady O who is part of the entertainment team of which are phenomenal. Lady O gave us a shout out at at a show because we were celebrating 42 years of marriage. Lady O was intentional in making us feel special. Our cabana attendants, Miguel and Richard, excellent; very attentive. So many absolutely wonderful people that made our stay memorable. Latoya helped us plan our next Sandals get away. She worked within our price range; very patient. Others I want to give a shout out that just stopped and asked how we are doing: Anasia (entertainment), Kaya (entertainment), Sheneka( fitness), Kaden (bar attendant beach side) Dave, Standards, young man at the Rabbit Hole with locs( can't recall his name) ( bartenters)...remembered our drink choices and had them ready. Truly everyone at this resort makes you feel like you are home. Jamaica's key statement "Welcome Home". Sandals Ochi welcomes you home! We stayed on the Hillside, but there is also the Beachside. The property is huge, hilly, two or three sides, but you have busses and attendants driving golf carts to get you around. Be ready to walk, but property is so beautiful, you don't mind! My husband and I will certainly come back. Last statement, newer .music needed in Rabbit Hole, the main pools, and wherever DJ's play. Though on 8/10/26 the tall, thin, cornrolled hair, richly dark skinned young DJ rocked the house! Did not get his name, but he also played at the Insiders affair( reception for returning guests). We stayed at Sandals Ochi in June and I wanted to write this to encourage anyone that is thinking of staying to do it. Here's why. We ended up being late to the holiday due to some flight issues, we arrived at around 1am in the morning and were taken to our room. Being honest, we have stayed in nicer rooms, we usually holiday in the Maldives and this felt like a downgrade initially, however, we had the BEST holiday we have had in years at this resort and the reason for that is the absolutely incredible staff. On our first morning at breakfast the amazing Lydia showed us to our table and was so kind and friendly and genuinely warm (she even came to find us at the pool when her shift ended to say goodbye and how nice it was to meet us) An absolute ray of sunshine, would make a great butler! Speaking of butlers, Sean and Josie were absolutely incredible, so warm, kind and went above and beyond for us. They quickly realised we liked to stay at our room pool and would show up with drinks, pizzas, little treats, ice for the room, all without us asking. On top of that they were the nicest, most natural and engaging people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Bear in mind they are doing an incredibly difficult job with a huge amount of demands put on them but were never without a smile, making us feel like we were their only priority. Everyone needs a Sean or Josie in their lives, bringing joy to your day, being so kind, friendly and funny. We will be specifically asking for them on our next stay! Our housekeeper, Allaney, was there 6 days a week making sure our room was clean and tidy and always took the time to have a quick chat and a laugh. These people and all of the staff made this a holiday to remember, it may not be the "nicest" resort youve ever been to but the staff will ensure you have an incredible experience and that is so rare. We've had great staff at other hotels but it never felt totally sincere. We cannot recommend enough and cant wait to go back. Ignore the negative reviews, if you cant be happy in this resort then you will never be happy anywhere! Im sorry I cant thank all of the lovely staff we met, but each and every person was wonderful. Kudos to the day and night housekeeping team for room 7202!!! The Island Insider team was also very friendly and mostly greeted us by name. We look forward to seeing LaToya at South Coast! One server who absolutely stood out was Junior, at Valentinos He was so friendly and his service was fantastic. The manager there also checked in with us to see how our meal was, Out of all the restaurants we went to, this was the only one where the manager visited out table. One thing that was a turnoff was the various families who were at the resort with teenage kids that did not even look 18, These people were not there for a wedding or other event, It was a family vacation and apparently allowed by Sandals. This is losing the couples vibe of Sandals and it's sad. Also, there were approximately 50 dental students/dentists staying at the resort who were going out to the community to check teeth. In the afternoon and at night it was like college spring break. They took over the pools, quiet beach spots and buffets. We especially loved the Rabbit Hole Speakeasy—it was such a fun and unique experience—and the nightly entertainment throughout the resort was fantastic. Our room was beautiful, and the butler service made our stay even more relaxing. We never had to worry about walking up the hill, as our butlers were always ready to assist us. The food across the resort was very good, but what truly made our vacation memorable was the warm hospitality. Everyone we encountered made us feel welcome and appreciated.
