The beach is small and there are a few sunbeds - you cant enter the sea but a short bus ride away offers a much larger more commercial beach with bars etc. The staff are amazing - as with everywhere - be polite and kind to them and you will get the same in return! Food is delicious. Downsides - intermittent evening entertainment of varying talent, cleaning is a bit hit and miss, one day our rooms floor smelt and looked dirtier after it was cleaned, and the mosquitoes are an absolute killer - obviously its all part of a tropical destination but take plenty of mozzie spray and keep applying! All in all a lovely, quiet, relaxing hotel. Read less

Savannah has provided us with a holiday to remember, in a beautiful and historic location, it is definitely worth considering as a place to stay. Staying all inclusive, there are 3 restaurants on rotation for dinner, featuring different menus. The food was good & is certainly better than most hotels I have stayed at, especially as an all inclusive. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean & are true to Barbados style. The air-conditioning works perfectly and the beds are super comfy. The showers are great, with wonderful balconies to sit on. The pools are a little small, but more than enough room for all, with ample sunbeds around the property, both at the pool and the beach in front of the property. Finally & this is Savannah's super power. The wonderful staff, from bar, reception, restaurants & house keeping, they all could simply not do enough for you, with the time to talk to you, unique in this day an age. The heart and soul of the hotel. They are all absolutely amazing. To the staff & hotel, thank you for what has been a truly magical holiday, one we will remember. A great hotel, which provides you with great value. Read less

Food was great even though l am a fussy l always found something. We went to chopstix twice which we enjoyed also went to Rachel’s again very nice food. BBQ at drifters was lovely. Rooms were great though bathroom could do with a little updating but was adequate. The staff were all very polite and friendly . While we were waiting for our airport transfer in the lobby on our last day the general manager came and asked us if we enjoyed our time at Savannah and what we thought of the hotel which we gave him our thoughts. He generally was very interested on feedback and improving things where needed. We did feel that some negative comments we read were unwarranted . We would definitely return to this hotel. Read less

We stayed here over the Easter holidays for 14 nights on an all inclusive basis We picked the savannah due to the small size ,location and architecture (not a tower block ) The hotel did not disappoint very relaxed vibe exactly what we look for on our holidays Every member of staff we engaged with was just so friendly from the guys keeping the pool clean to the management Food was for us very good as we are not looking for burger and chips but good well cooked meals from omelettes at breakfast to freshly cooked evening meal Although we was all inclusive we did venture out for a few evening meals and found some great places in walking distance two of the best had to be tapas on the hastings sea front and bali beach bar with their chillout vibe and great dj's we even popped out for a fish cutter a couple of lunch times (non of this was due to the quality of food at the hotel just the way we holiday) Now the beach has virtually gone but as we live on the coast and seeing beaches on a daily this wasn't important to us however a short walk in either direction will have you on a beautiful beach in a matter of minutes The hotel was kept spotless there was constantly a member of staff cleaning something and we had no issues regarding the cleanliness of the hotel The wildlife around the hotel was pretty impressive from monkeys running past your sunbed to chickens sitting on eggs in the bush We see turtles hatch on hastings sea front one morning and even had humming birds working the flowers out side our room Savannah the hotel cat was very friendly and a little diva she was very happy to say hi and just sit and chill with us which we loved We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and think we have found our spot in barbados when we return one day Thank you Savannah beach club for a great stay Read less
