The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

We were woken up before 7:30am at least 2 days by a leaf blower right outside our ground floor room. The floating rafts etc, were brought in one by one over the five days until none were left in the ocean The beach did not have umbrellas, rather lounge chairs with movable shade covers, it was very difficult to be fully shaded for those who prefer that. Our room (125) was a bit run down. The overall feel of the resort was a bit downscale given that it is considered 4 star Read less

Sea Breeze Beach House made our first visit to Barbados a dream come true! The hotel is in a perfect location - close enough to the airport and action areas like St Lawrence Gap, Oistins Fish Fry and Bridgetown but separate enough to give you a daily luxurious feel. The beach is absolutely beautiful!!!! Chairs and towels are always available along with watersport toys (boogie board, cornhole) and mounted rafts/trampolines in the water. Our room was a good size, modern, colorful and cleaned beautifully on a daily basis. The food and bar services were outstanding. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts and this was easily the best food we've ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. Evening entertainment was unique every night and a fun, refreshing change to the typical shows we've seen at larger all-inclusive resorts. We celebrated a special birthday during the week and Sea Breeze arranged balloons, a special cake, champagne as well as a fabulous surprise birthday celebration at dinner. Thank you, Sea Breeze for a magical week! Read less

A fabulous location close to Oistins in the south of the island. The hotel has a laid back approach with a mixture of clientele ages, but predominantly over 60's. We stayed in the Seafan building, which suited us very well. The room was clean and comfortable, with new curtains and voiles. The bathroom however was in need of revamp. It totally lacked an extractor fan and I felt the sliding door would fall off any minute! The hot water in the shower would come and go, which is not ideal when showering. Generally our room was cleaned later in the afternoon, which again is not ideal, as we like a nap before getting ready for dinner. The pools were cleaned every day and there appeared to be plenty of towels. If they had run out, you only had to ask for more. It stipulates quite clearly that sunbeds are not to be reserved - no one took any notice. Books and towels were proudly laid out on them before breakfast had started. The sea on occasions could be a little rough, especially if you are not a confidant swimmer, like me. The floating platforms are a great idea and a trip on the Hobie Cat is a must. brilliant views looking back at the hotel and over Oistins. Service on the whole was very good. Marcia on the breakfast egg station was a delight. Always happy, smiling and a credit to the hotel. A very small percentage of the staff basically disinterested and the Hostess in the Mahogany restaurant was borderline rude on our last morning. And not just to us, but to others. Such a shame as that will be a lasting memory of the holiday and at that price level, things like that should not happen. The food was above average for us and we enjoyed the fine dining experience in the Cerulean. The Aqua Terra restaurant had a good a la carte menu and was also the setting to watch the sun go down with a glass of fizz and a canape. The Mahogany buffet suited my husband as he could have as much or as little as he wanted. Our last dinner was at the Cerulean and they were also hosting a Karaoke evening on the neighbouring Rum Shack lawn. Obviously the music was quite loud and did not mix well with a refined dinner experience. Definitely needs a rethink. Maybe have Karaoke on a night when the Cerulean is shut. Read less

What a beautiful place. The hotel is beautiful, welcoming staff, plenty of food options (and healthy too considering it’s all inclusive). 3 different pools to choose from (one is adults only but is away from the other 2 pools). I felt very safe considering I was a single mum with my 2 children. The children were welcomed warmly, the staff were amazing and I loved the chefs serving eggs at breakfast and different dishes at lunch and dinner. My only comment would be if they could start dinner service at 6. My kids were falling asleep half way through dinner! Read less
