The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great food and drink. Friendly staff. Our room was excellent. We never had any problems getting a sun lounger but did stick to the adult only pool.

Positives - the views from the ocean view suites in Mahogany are out of this world - no mad rush for the loungers. You can come down after breakfast and plenty around the pools and on the beach. Reserving them are banned too - the food at Cerulean and Aqua Terra is fantastic. Views are incredible in both too. The mahi mahi is not to be missed. - the sunset views with bubbles are so peaceful - the water sports team do a cracking job. The fellas go over and above for the guests - Tia in restaurant reservations is a star. Very professional and on the ball - our ambassador Fabian was great. - the fish tacos and loaded fries at Tipsy Bar are spot on. Perfect for a quick stop - evening entertainment is varied and not too obtrusive or late. It’s a very relaxed vibe - if you like rum you won’t be sorry to stay here. Plenty of Mount Gay XO - you get what you put in with staff interactions. If you’re friendly and smiley. you will get the same back in return. Negatives - the service for lunch at the flying fish is slow and chaotic. Went several times and the same each visit. So at odds with the rest of the hotel. Read less

Overall we had a really lovely 2 week holiday here with our baby. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do more for us and everyone was just really friendly. The hotel is very nice, not too big but not too small. The beach is nice. The pools are also good though don’t have shade during the day, so we often had to swim after 4.30/5pm with the baby. The bars and restaurants are generally good. One thing which needs improvement is the food at Mahogany Lounge - the buffet for breakfast/lunch/dinner is too small/uninspiring and the food isn’t amazing. Mahogany Lounge could also do with a revamp. The pool restaurant food is good but quite slow to arrive. We enjoyed having sundowners at Aqua Terra. The evening entertainment was good (though because the hotel is quite small we could usually hear it from inside our room if we went to bed early with the baby). I had a good deep tissue massage at the spa. Read less

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Seabreeze Ocean Beach Resort Barbados. The resort checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations: all inclusive, the size of the resort, location close to the airport and central to Bridgetown, fish market, St. Lawrence Gap, Hastings etc., professional and friendly staff, cleanliness of rooms and property, activities and amenities, and great food! Can accommodate both families and adults only. We always were able to find a seat either by one of the pools or on the beach. We took advantage of being able to prebook a couple days in advance for dinners at one of the restaurants which provided variety and tasty quality food options. Thank you for a great experience. Look forward to taking our family back! Read less

This is the first night, very Fawlty Towers! Maybe it’s just a few teething troubles, so I’ll wait until the end of our stay to write a final review. Let’s hope it improves. More detail to follow.
