The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

The staff at this hotel were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Especially Brittney from the beach bar. Our stay at the Sea Breeze Beach House was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth, professionalism, and the kind of hospitality that turns a holiday into an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and perfectly located, but what truly makes this place special is the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Erin, Shanese, Sheree, Nikita, Joeanna, Sharon, Roger, and Jerome, who each went above and beyond throughout our stay. Every interaction was met with smiles, kindness, and outstanding service. They made us feel completely relaxed and genuinely valued as guests. The wedding planning team deserve special recognition for creating such a seamless and magical experience. Their attention to detail, organisation, and calm professionalism ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. They turned what could have been a stressful process into something enjoyable and memorable. The beach attendants were also fantastic — always attentive, friendly, and hardworking, making sure guests were comfortable and looked after while enjoying the stunning beachfront. What stood out most about Sea Breeze was the atmosphere created by the staff. It never felt forced or overly formal — just authentic Barbadian hospitality at its very best. It’s rare to find a hotel where so many members of staff make such a lasting impression. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. If you are considering staying in Barbados, I honestly cannot recommend Sea Breeze highly enough. A truly first-class experience in every way. Read less

We enjoyed our 10-nights stay at the Sea Breeze hotel; with some caveats. In terms of positives: the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Indeed, the hotel 'guest ambassadors' (and a special mention to Fabian🤗 and Joel🤗) are a great idea and help mediate before any issues escalate! More hotels should employ this system. Also, it was nice to have a 'welcome to the hotel' meeting, and Fabian was engaging and informative🤗 A very special word of thanks has to go to Erica (Guest Experience Manager), who we met initially, at reception and she brought us to our room, while pointing out the various facilities en route. She really excelled at the conclusion of our 9-nights stay, responding positively to a problem with my wife's suitcase. This issue took several weeks to resolve, but Erica got it sorted out and we applaud her (and the hotel's) professional and personal approach 🤗🤗🤗 The standard of food, drinks, and service was good; with a special mention for Sharon🤗, often found in the buffet restaurant. The other 2 restaurants were an uneven mix in terms of food / menus / portions, but fine, overall.  But a BIG thanks to everyone for looking after us well. In terms of concerns / negatives: The hotel is situated on the windier Atlantic, rather than the much calmer Caribbean sea: so, it's a bit challenging to swim and  snorkel!. Indeed, I came to refer to it as the 'Sea Windy hotel! 🤠 Nevertheless, this did allow for sailing trips; albeit for the braver guests; Maintenance issues: our wardrobe didn't close and, despite being eventually 'fixed' later that evening, fell off its runners! Again, this was sorted, but the doors are heavy and needed a lot of effort to open / close! Furthermore, our toilet was not properly moored to the floor, leading to an unsteady experience! This was eventually fixed, but after several attempts; Our room was often not serviced until very late in the afternoon and, on one occasion, after 5.15! Having put up with this for most of the first week, we raised this inconvenience and requested early morning servicing and this was done, thankfully; Despite the general loveliness of staff, the service was often very slow! This is why we favoured the buffet ('waiting' on ourselves), even if drinks arrived at times, as we were half way through the main meal! The door at the buffet part is a health and safety issue, with it often not opening automatically as people attempt to exit, and many getting anxious as a result! Also, the door can close unexpectedly and we witnessed several people getting hit with it (and painfully, too)! Read less

The rooms are clean and relatively spacious (we stayed in a standard room). We think that the hotel is great value for the money. If you’re looking for wild party life, this isn’t the place for you. The hotel puts on entertainment most nights but this is probably aimed at more mature adults rather than families with teens or young kids. It’s not noisy at all. The staff work incredibly hard to provide different types of dining and experience, the food is absolutely great and they are wonderful. The only real criticism we had was the state of the swimming pools - in particular the adult pool which had tiles missing and looked like it could do with a thorough scrub along the waterline. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the beach is raked daily. It does look a little tired in places but it doesn’t detract from the rest of the place. We will definitely go again. Read less
