The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

Great location, short transfer from the airport, right on the beach and a nice sized resort not too big. Good sea views from all rooms. 2. Good snorkeling right from the beach. We saw 3 different turtles in 6 feet of water about 100 meters from shore on our last day there. 3. Staff are very friendly, engaging and helpful 4. Big shout out to Deniko who organized lots of trips and taxis for us and provided some good advice. 5. Food is pretty good 6. Bar staff are excellent (sometimes need to tell them to ease off a little on the spirit measures, they make strong drinks!) They even served me a drink in the hot tub! 7. Water sports staff were excellent 8. The chef will cook any thing you catch from your fishing trip! 9. Breeze the cat is very friendly (he is the older of the two cats, the younger cat is more feral and very timid) Cons: 1. The service at the higher end fine dining restaurant (Ceruleum) was highly variable. There were a couple of nights when they were very slow and didn’t even come back and ask us for drinks. The service in the other 3 restaurants was much better. 2. The adult pool could do with a bit of maintenance/repairs. There are several patches with missing tiles and the water was a bit cloudy. Our vacation was excellent and exactly as described. The employees were wonderful and so helpful. The room was amazing and hearing the ocean waves hit the beach every night was great for sleep.

We have stayed on West Coast and South Coast before and was coming with our two little ones 3 and 8 yrs old. We chose Sea breeze as we saw luxury mixed with family fun. First of all the communications was the hotel before we even arrived was first class. I wanted to arrange birthday balloons and the team responded immediately, also for airport pick up and upgrade enquires. When we arrived we were assigned Shanese as our ambassador, how lucky were we! I just had to message her and questions answered and problems solved. I loved this service first class. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite in the Mahogany building it was like an apartment! Huge, so much storage, so much room, stunning views. The breakfast was small selection not like Mexico with huge halls of food, but it was quality. Marcia’s omelettes are the best I have ever tried, I don’t know her secret but wow. We preferred lunch buffet, rather than dinner and the à la cartes were nice but we were there for 8 nights so it got a little repetitive. I think having a buffet open most nights would be good. The restaurant staff at Mahogony are fabulous, the managers run a tight ship. Special mention to Nicoladi I think that’s how it’s spelt, a young girl who was so attentive and happy! There were two young men too, who were fantastic. There is no room service and you can not get food past 9.30-10pm which for an all inclusive is early. The coffee shop is a nice touch I loved the rock cakes there. The beach bar is fab, chesterfield and the team are amazing. Serve you all day, cool towels, icecream bike twice a day, around the pool. The food at the beach bar is good, lovely fish cakes, cod samosas, fresh pizzas and salads, but the wait is crazy. Some days 45 mins. The poor chef needs help! The kids club, well my kids loved it. Thea, Carol Anne and Christina were the best! My girls loved them so much. They would do anything they wanted! Slime, tie dye, glttter. I loved the relaxed vibe, my 3 year old would never stay without me and we got 30 Mins of free time to get a coffee!! Thank you ladies truly you are all amazing. The night entertainment when at mahogany was so good, the fire show, dance show, silent disco. They need to do more for the kids for sure, this is what was lacking. There was an excellent kids club that shut at 5pm. As a family we love a show to watch in the evenings or activities together. We did go out a couple of nights to Champneys, Oistins, the west coast. Also went on Calabazza amazing catamaran trip, horse riding on the beach with five gaits, shopping trips, wildlife sanctuary. The sea was full of sargussm but that’s nature, of course it would have been lovely to go in the sea but that is not the hotels fault. They put on shuttles to Carlisle bay which was so nice. It didn’t spoil our trip. The kids loved the pool, finding crabs in it! We had a monkey come into the pool path and a rooster the kids were excited. We didn’t want to leave, the staff the vibe, the service. Thank you all at Sea beeeze!! It was a special trip with some beautiful memories. Read less

We recently stayed in the Sea Breeze Beach House in Barbados 7/18-7/29 and truly had a wonderful time. Starting from arrival, the team was very warm, accommodating, and kind. Special shout out to Matthew, Erin, and Deniko who took care of us from arrival and throughout. There were 5 of us and we stayed in a 2 bedroom luxury suite, the room was large and extremely comfortable, with breathtaking views of the beach. Everyone had their own space and were very happy. The beach was our favorite part of the stay! Absolutely beautiful, the hotel offers nonmotorized water sports that are so much fun. Shout out to the beach crew Prince Joseph, and captain Jack Sparrow who took us sailing and kayaking. Next the drinks!!! Wow- bartenders Omar and the Doctor make the BEST DRINKS! they truly have skills. Our favorite restaurant was Aqua Terra, they make the best steak! Deniko and Fabian helped with booking our excursions. They were both very knowledgeable and took great care of us!!! We all truly had a wonderful and relaxing vacation and hope to return soon, thank you Sea Breeze Crew😘😘😘 Read less

I've just returned from an 8 night stay at Sea Breeze. I have to be honest in that my expectations were mixed given some of the reviews I had read on this forum. I could not fault the hotel at all. I'm lucky enough to have travelled quite a bit, nearly all for leisure and I could not see any of the faults I read about. Regarding the staff, to those individuals who felt it necessary to criticise on here, I would suggest you take a good look in the mirror. I found all the staff friendly, really well humoured and they almost all remembered my name! The food was really good and some of the dishes I had were truly exceptional. Some staff I would like to point out for their efforts to make my stay a most relaxing one were (in no particular order of merit) Omar, Shaq, Shavira, Brittany and Cassandra, who I really connected with. Thank you Sea Breeze, I will do everything in my power to return. Read less
