Just spent 7 wonderful days at Sea Breeze Beach House. We are a family of 8, and had an oceanfront 2 bedroom suite and there was lots of room for 6 of us. The view of the ocean was amazing from our balcony. The other two members of the family had a Classic Ocean Front room and just loved it. It was located by the lap pool and they really enjoyed relaxing on their loungers on their patio space.
The food at Sea Breeze was very good and we found they had lots of variety. Breakfast was really good with so many options to choose from. At 4:00pm each day, they serve Afternoon Tea which we enjoyed a few times. There are three different restaurants for dinner in the evening and we found each to be very good.
There are a lot of activities during the day like, bingo, mixology, rum tasting, wine tasting, exercise classes in the pool, rides on the Hobie cat boats and boogie boards.
But what makes this resort so special is the staff. They are so welcoming and so friendly, nothing was ever a bother for them and they would go out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Joel and Fabian were our ambassadors for the week and they were so helpful. They booked excursions for us and truly made our stay at Sea Breeze so enjoyable.

We were so looking forward to our holiday….we have been to Barbados many times ,and always enjoyed it thoroughly…not so this time.
We stayed in the Mahogany building ,the rooms were fine ,unfortunately the shower was broken ,it took 48 hours to get fixed !

We stayed in the Mahogany building ,the rooms were fine ,unfortunately the shower was broken ,it took 48 hours to get fixed !
The Mahogany restaurant was horrid …the upholstery on the chairs were filthy ,the tables were not clean ,in general the place needed decorating ,the buffet was too small for the amount of guests using it ,making the experience crowded and uncomfortable…and the food wasn’t nice . We only used it once .
The two other restaurants were much cleaner and the food was good ,the waiting staff in general seemed miserable ,and didn’t interact with guests…obviously there were a couple who were pleasant but they were the exception ,sadly
The ocean and the beach were gorgeous ,a lot of the sun beds were broken , the shades didn’t work ,it was unusual that there were no umbrellas on the beach .
We used the sun deck in the adult section , the sun beds were all taken by 7.30, so we had to get up early..towels were not always available. The coffee machine in that section broke down frequently, often not cleaned and refilled daily ,this was the only refreshment offered til 10 am ,so was annoying when it didn’t work or had run out of cups ,reporting to reception was futile .The toilets were often blocked ,bins overflowing,and none of the staff seemed to care .
At Hotels generally, the staff offer drinks to the guests sunbathing , at intervals during the day ,we were lucky if that happened twice a day . We talked to many guests that shared the same thoughts, as us ,and would not be returning ,this could be a much better hotel if the management got a grip ,cleaned the place up , cared more about the guests , improved the moral of the staff ,so that they wanted to engage and actually smile now and again .
I am so surprised that people review this hotel in a positive light ,we expected a 4 star hotel not 2 star .
There are much better places available…think twice before you choose this Hoel

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Breeze Beach House. Everything surpassed our expectations: the staff, the food, the pools, the activities and the property. The staff were second to none - no request was too large or small, and they were totally accommodating. The food was varied and delicious - we especially loved the breakfast buffet at the Mohagony (the overnight oats, omelettes and fresh fruit were standouts) and the fish tacos and loaded fries at the Tipsy Bar. We also loved the ice pop cart that visited twice a day. The pools were spread out over the property, and we often the lap pool and submerged lounge chairs - all of them were cleaned daily and well maintained. We enjoyed bingo, yoga, a morning stroll to town, a Hobie cat ride, boogie boarding, rum tasting, wine tasing, and really enjoyed the mixology course. The property is impeccably maintained - the resort is very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The beach had quite a bit of seaweed when we visited, but the staff was out every single morning cleaning the sand. We asked to watch a few sports after the pool bar had closed, and the staff was happy to find our games on the communal television so we could enjoy our teams. Overall, our trip was amazing and we hope to come back next year. Thank you to everyone at the Sea Breeze House!
