At Belle Mare, on the eastern coast of Mauritius, just 50 metres across the road from the beach. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

A selection of local beverages including water, beer, tea, coffee, soft drinks, house wine, and locally manufactured alcohols and spirits. A selection of drinks and snacks at The Bulk Shop corner in Laboutik from 8:00am-11:00pm. Afternoon tea from 4:00-5:00pm (self service: pastries at Taba-J and local goodies near the main pool). The personnel was absolutely lovely, helpful, charming and chatty without crossing lines and gave us the feeling that we were among friends. Of the few names I remember I would like to mention Lutchmee (reception/guest relation), Kunal (bar), Nishta, Sheekha and Subash (Restaurant). As for the food: I found it slightly above average compared to other hotels of the same category. Nothing all too fancy (plenty of local dishes) but good quality and really tasty. The desserts were nothing to get sxcited about. The breakfast was amazingly rich and good and the coffee was the best I have ever tasted in a Mauritian hotel! My only humble remark: a hairdryer and a safe should be expected in the room of a 4 star hotel.

We had an excellent stay for our wedding anniversary at Sunrise. We were amazingly surprised by the wedding anniversary cake.
The welcoming girl(i did not take note of her name) was kind, attentive and did her job very well.

Overall a good one with a few unpleasant and unprofessional encounters with the staff here and there. The rooms were nice and the food was not bad. The barmen were very nice and friendly! Detailed feedback has been submitted to Sunrise Attitude. Hopefully, this will prompt proper training and better customer service in the future.
