Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Having had a truly wonderful stay at Tamassa Hotel in Mauritius, I feel compelled to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff who made my experience so memorable. From the moment my cousin and I set foot on the Tamassa premises, we were met with nothing but kindness, courtesy, and genuine warmth — all beautifully infused with that special Mauritianity (if that’s even a word!). A special mention must go to Dilshad, our little magical angel, who warmly welcomed us and ensured our stay was comfortable from start to finish. She went far beyond what one would normally expect, making us feel genuinely valued not just as guests, but as individuals. That level of care is truly priceless. Another highlight was discovering the recreational niche, where I enjoyed immense leisure opportunities and was always greeted with respect and friendliness by Sebastian, Kevin, and Ishya. Rekindling my passion for carom and table tennis was an absolute joy — and yes, I generously let Sebastian win, as I didn’t want to hurt his ego 😂. We also had an amazing time at Studio 17, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the resort. Thank you, Tamassa, for creating such beautiful memories. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights for our honeymoon and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with smiles, which immediately made us feel welcome. The hotel is beautifully located in the south, with direct access to the beach. Our room was very well cleaned and beautifully decorated. On our second night, we were surprised with a special turndown service and a romantic bath setup, which made the evening even more special. A big thank you to Executive Housekeeper Sandesh and his entire team for the wonderful effort and attention to detail. The food definitely deserves special mention. There was a great variety and everything we tried was delicious. A sun-kissed breakfast and a romantic dinner were arranged for us at Playa Restaurant and both were simply amazing. The buffet at Show Restaurant was also very impressive, with plenty of choices. We were even offered a complimentary cake, which was a lovely gesture. Many thanks to Chef Suraj, Chef Panchoo and the entire kitchen and F&B teams at Playa and Show Restaurant for making our dining experience so memorable. I would also like to highlight the honesty and efficiency of the hotel staff. I had misplaced my handbag and went to the reception for help. Thankfully, it had already been found and kept safely for me, which I truly appreciated. The spa staffs were also very nice and the complimentary wish tree ritual was a beautiful touch. The spa area itself is calm, less noisy and peaceful, perfect for relaxing couples’ time. The hotel has four pools, including heated ones, which was great. Kajal at the Towel cabana was sweet and very helpful. We also had the chance to go on a glass-bottom boat trip, which was an amazing experience and a complimentary photoshoot was also offered by the hotel. Thanks to the photographer for the beautiful photos. On Sunday night, there was also a DJ, which added a nice and lively atmosphere to the evening. Overall, our honeymoon stay was truly unforgettable. Everything was thoughtfully planned and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Excellent! Mr Nishad, Manager, never fails to make us feel welcomed and pampered! Chef Karan prepared some exceptional dishes for us at La Playa Restaurant. Service was great, reason why we love to visit again and again!
