All sea oriented with balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, flat-screen satellite TV, kettle and tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe and hairdryer. Tamassa Rooms with 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Board basis options

Half Board option: includes breakfast and dinner at Show. For guests booked in Tamassa Rooms, get a 20% discount at Playa for lunch and dinner. Discount applicable on food only

Superior Rooms are set within the resorts gardens and have 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Superior Rooms sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 teen or 1 child or 1 baby.

Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

We enjoyed both the main restaurant (Buffet ouvert) and Playa (à la carte) so many delicious options: soup, salads, mauritian food, pasta, pizza au bois de feu, you name it!!! Tamassa thank you for taking care of the big foodie me and family!! Definetely try the Souris d'Agneau, Vegeterian lasagne at Playa and Chocolat fondue is a must for chocolate lovers!! We had and loved Naan, Chole and Paneer Curry at the buffet. The pizza au bois de feu is a must for pizza lovers. And your breakfast will be incomplete without a Tamassa pain au chocolat and crêpe! Special shoutout to our favourite Chefs- Chef Jean Marc and Chef Karan. You both are the best! Thank you for making special delicious vegetarian dish for my Mum. If you are a vegetarian or vegan- Tamassa is for you! And Lucy's passion is a must if you want to try a lavish tropical cocktail. So many games, activities options available and spa (sauna and hammam)- we personally loved the nice relaxing sauna. We also had an amazing Kayake experience on Saturday and saw beautiful corals and fish. The rooms are so comfortable, clean, spacious and luxurious. We had the beach rooms which we absolutely loved. Also special shoutout to Dushan (main restaurant), Sarvesh (playa) and the other staff for the excellent service. And thank you Tasha (room service) for cleaning our mess in our rooms and for being so sweet and charming. All the staffs are amazing and will give you the warmest welcome. Highly recommend Tamassa. Liked · I liked the ordered dinner at the “Playa” restaurant (I recommend it), a beautiful place for the SPA, and the very well-maintained grounds. Disliked · Everything is very old and worn out. The sports equipment can no longer be used — for example, the billiard cues are broken, the balls are even angular, the table has torn fabric, and the rest of the equipment looks the same… The room’s condition, both in terms of construction and furniture, is outdated and broken (it definitely does not match its price compared to another hotel on the island visited at the same time). The staff — although they try to be polite — are clearly pressured to sell additional services, drinks, etc., and it’s very, very noticeable. I had booked breakfast and dinner because we planned to explore the island during the day, so lunch and alcoholic drinks were not of interest, but the hotel kept pressuring me both by email and through the employees to book the full package. I believe the staff are being forced to save on everything, both when serving food and pouring drinks. So the hotel management should reconsider their strategy — both in terms of renovations and the emotional well-being of the staff (the employees look very unhappy). Read less

What an amazing time, this place is so well thought out! It caters for everyone. The vibe was so friendly and welcoming. Our daughter was unwell and a dr was called and she was tendered to immediately. Thanks Tamassa!!!
