Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Our second visit to Tamassa Bel Ombre, in beautiful Mauritius — and as enjoyable as our first was, nearly ten years before. We returned to help celebrate our daughter's birthday upon arrival — making the trip especially memorable for us. Similar to many previous reviews, the staff at Tamassa were extremely welcoming and kind, and the beachfront location is amazing. The atmosphere is very laid back; there is good variety of food options; and the entertainment does an excellent job balancing fun and relaxation. Although some areas of the hotel (rooms) may appear somewhat aged and while there have been a few instances where it appeared the team was understaffed — I recognize the post pandemic challenges facing all businesses — I personally work in hospitality, and therefore do not wish to be too critical. All things considered, it remains a fantastic resort with a tremendous team, and we are glad we returned to it. Read less
