Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

For those who really want to relax and experience the soul of Mauritius, this Hotel ist where you want to stay!!! We spent two wonderful weeks at Tamassa resort, and it exceeded all expectations! From the beautiful surroundings and fantastic food (hats off to Geraldo and the cooking team for the amazing local and international dishes and a big thanks for the special food for my wife who for the first time found so many gluten- and lactose free meals !) to the overall incredible atmosphere, everything was perfect. However, the exceptional kindness and attentiveness of the Tamassa personnel truly made our holiday unforgettable. Pravesh and Altaaf were always there, anticipating our needs and ensure we had an amazing time every day in the restaurant. Avisha and Virginie ensured our comfort throughout. And a special thank you to Devina, our house-keeping lady, who not only kept our room immaculate but also delighted us with her beautiful decorations - every day she surprised us with a beautiful creation made of towels. Firstly let me set the background: My partner is used to high standards. The only reason we booked at Tamassa was we ran the Mauritius marathon in ST Felix beach and there are no private homes available to his standard on that side of the island as my partner prefer a home with a kitchen as we are runners with very specific diets and food we eat. He likes his space and privacy, he is not the resort type of person as he is an older gentlemen who is currently investing into his own property on the island. When we arrived he already felt irritable with the setup as we came from a lovely home in Tamarin on the west coast. They checked us in on a 3rd floor dark small room that smelt like an old smokers room. To get out I booked a steam room to go relax and they could not find us as checked-in on the system, this then led to my partner being very annoyed and he went to address it with the management team. Well what a lovely lady came to see us, If I recall correctly Leena. They moved us to a lovely ground floor unit, very private with an ocean view that was a major improvement to the first room and room location. Overall the resort is fantastic,with a picture perfect beach for those looking for a resort. ( Which is unfortunately not our preference) I would like to thank the management team for their understanding and the change to the room! Read less
