Superior Rooms are set within the resorts gardens and have 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Superior Rooms sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 teen or 1 child or 1 baby.

Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

Staying at Tamassa Resort Mauritius was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, especially when it came to food and dietary needs. The culinary team didn’t just accommodate us — they genuinely cared. They checked in regularly, prepared customised dishes, and made sure every meal was both safe and delicious. That level of attention is rare, and it made us feel truly looked after. We had special dietary requirements including vegan, gluten free diet for the group. The resort itself is a paradise for families. The kids club kept our little ones entertained for hours with fun, engaging activities with wonderful staff including Anastasia. One of the biggest hits was the burger and chips truck — a simple idea executed brilliantly. The kids loved it, and honestly, so did we. Between the beautiful grounds, the warm hospitality, and the thoughtful touches everywhere, Tamassa delivered an experience that exceeded our expectations. This was our first time to mauritius and all i can say is WOW, Tamassa resort was absolutely amazing, so attentive and more than happy to attend to all our needs, the food at the buffet was fabulous but the ala carte restaurant was unbelievable , we got invited by Sid the entertainment manager to a taster menu with all hotel management 😋 which was outstanding, the maldivian night with street food was just our style , the beach is clean and not busy at all, all the pools, gardens and resort are kept immaculate, i have to say we were treated like royalty, special thank you to chef Viki so sorry if i spelt that wrong, he made us a special leaving meal on our last day with 3 different curries which was amazing, i had a 90 min massgae which was part of my birthday presant which was well needed, and the therapist was absolutely fabulous taking time to focus on areas i needed, im not very good at remembering names but all of you that work at Tamassa i would just like to say thank you so much for our welcome and hospitality WE WILL BE BACK SOON i promise.
