Tamassa Rooms with 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Board basis options

Half Board option: includes breakfast and dinner at Show. For guests booked in Tamassa Rooms, get a 20% discount at Playa for lunch and dinner. Discount applicable on food only

Full Board option: includes breakfast at Show, lunch and dinner at either Show or Playa. For guests booked in Tamassa Rooms, get a 20% discount at Playa for lunch and dinner. Discount applicable on food only. At B Bar food only is included in the meal plan basis

Room upgrades:

Superior Rooms are set within the resorts gardens and have 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Superior Rooms sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 teen or 1 child or 1 baby.

Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

Having travelled extensively over the years, I can honestly say that our recent family holiday to Tamassa Resort in Mauritius ranks among the very best we've ever had. We travelled as a family of three and had the most amazing time from start to finish. What made this holiday truly unforgettable wasn't just the beautiful resort or the stunning location – it was the people. Every member of staff we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure we were having a wonderful time. Every greeting came with a smile, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with an impressive variety available every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was something to suit every taste, and the quality was consistently outstanding. A special mention has to go to the beachfront restaurant, which was exceptional. The chocolate fondant there was, without question, the best I've ever tasted! The resort itself was immaculate. The grounds were beautifully maintained, our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and everything was easy to access. It was clear that the team takes great pride in keeping the resort looking its best. One thing that really stood out was the relaxed atmosphere around the pools and beach. Unlike many resorts, there was no early morning rush to reserve sunbeds with towels. There were always plenty of loungers available, whether you wanted to be by one of the pools or right on the beach, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Tamassa Resort for giving our family such wonderful memories. We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about when we can return. If you're considering a holiday in Mauritius, I couldn't recommend Tamassa Resort highly enough. Read less

Lots of amenities and clean overall.. I especially enjoyed the giant games, and the swimming pool. The kind attention of Preshna was commendable who relentlessly checked on us. Mauritian hospitality and standards are very different from my usual stays in Canada, and Tamassa Hotel definitely uplifts the standards. I would like to thank Mrs Dilshad for her excellent service. During our previous stay (5 month ago) . we had an issue, and she handled it professionally and efficiently. Her kindness and dedication are the main reasons we decided to return to this hotel. The only disappointment was with the all-inclusive package. We were told that we could only get a burger from the Burger Truck on the same day we chose to have lunch at Show Restaurant . This policy doesn't make much sense. If we have already had lunch at the restaurant, why would we then go and get a burger afterwards? Since the Burger Truck is included in the all-inclusive package, guests should be able to enjoy it at any time during the opening hours, not only after having lunch at the restaurant. I hope Tamassa reviews this policy, as it would greatly improve the guest experience. Read less
