Superior Rooms are set within the resorts gardens and have 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Superior Rooms sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 teen or 1 child or 1 baby.

Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

We had 5 nights at Tamassa Resort as a family in shared duplex rooms 1060 and 1061. The resort was great. Having a baby 3 months old with us, we were impressed with the added care. The resort provided a nappy bucket, change mat, baby bath and a cot for our little one. Assisting with the storage of breast milk, they also provided an esky and constant supply of ice. We didn't need to nag for these things, the resort was onto it! The meals were great. We had a half meal package. We were fortunate ro meet two of the wonderful chefs. I love how these guys walk the floor, they don't just cook the food, but constantly check it. Edinho Chambac, the Chief Pastry Chef was such a lovely man! He spoke to us every day and really added to our whole dining experience. One day, to our surprise, he made us banana pastries (an item that was not on the menu that day). After commenting how good these were, he brought them to our table the following morning. Kunal, was also very good, making sure we were well attended to at our table. He also brought a special local Mauritia noodle dish to our table, which was delicious. The swimming pools were clean, gardens wonderful, and we liked our room which was spacious and quite well appointed. The king size bed was excellent, very comfortable. Would we return...? From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was absolutely top-notch. It never felt like we were staying at a hotel, it felt like we were with family. Every single staff member was polite, respectful, and incredibly helpful. A special thanks to Aayush, Roshane, Sarah, Sandesh, Suraj, Koshiv, Jaya, and Vanista for making our stay so personal and comfortable. They guided us at every step and made sure we never faced any issues. The thoughtful complimentary surprises from the resort made our days even more special. We celebrated our honeymoon, Valentine’s week, and my wife’s birthday during our stay and each occasion was beautifully arranged and truly unforgettable. The swimming pool, spa sessions, sauna bath, cultural activities, and overall facilities were exceptional. Everything was luxurious yet warm and welcoming. The resort has around three large swimming pools, each beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. Our room was absolutely wonderful — spacious, comfortable, and located just about 10 steps away from the beach, which made waking up to the ocean an everyday luxury. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every day featured a different cuisine inspired by countries and global flavors, catering to varied tastes and preferences. This thoughtful variety added incredible value to the overall experience. Every penny we spent was absolutely worth it.
