Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

We came to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the beautiful surprise arranged in our room made the occasion even more special. Heartfelt thanks to Dilshad and the entire team for the thoughtful decoration and attention to detail. Our dining experiences were exceptional. At Playa, Jeshna provided outstanding service with such kindness and professionalism. it was truly a pleasure being served by her. At Show Restaurant, Pravesh went above and beyond by beautifully decorating a table for us, making the celebration even more memorable. Teesha from the pastry team was incredibly warm and friendly, while Nilesh from the room service team looked after my family with genuine care throughout our stay. A special mention also goes to Chef Suraj, whose delicious food and passion for his craft made every meal unforgettable. Came for a day package! Atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff were lovely and friendly. The buffet food however was atrocious! There was hardly any variety or any food for that matter! It was a let down. Especially for kids as well. Not really value for money!

Tamassa is proof that beautiful buildings may impress you on arrival, but it's the people who make you want to return. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. However what truly elevates this resort is its people. Warm, attentive, effortlessly friendly, and always smiling without ever feeling rehearsed; the Mauritian hospitality at its finest: authentic, generous, and delivered with pride. Every member of the team deserves recognition for this. The food? Between the buffet and the à la carte restaurant, there's enough variety to keep every meal interesting, with dishes that are consistently fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. We were a family of seven at the hotel, spanning different holiday styles, and somehow Tamassa managed to keep everyone happy. Some of us filled our days with the wide range of activities on offer, while others happily embraced the art of doing absolutely nothing by the the beach or chilling at the spa. Bonus, the resort has a kids club where you can book a babysitter, if need be. Tamassa is an easy five-star recommendation. We will definitely be back! Read less
