And an 'extra thing' inTamassa is the food and the excellent chefs with their special Mauritian food offers. Me and my wife Christa we were lucky to meeting Arvon Panchoo the morning after our impressive Lobster Menue. He is a chef that I would wish I had in a lot of the hotels I was in in my entire journy life. We felt the difference very clear after changing the hotel on Mauritius! Read less

We have just returned from our ninth holiday at Tamassa and once again we have had a wonderful time. The staff are extremely friendly and did everything possible to make our visit both comfortable and enjoyable. The main asset of Tamassa is the staff and the manner in which they make every effort to look after you. While we were there this time we visited Coco island and our thanks are due to Krishen and Nishad for arranging this on our behalf. Thanks are also due to Ravi who looked after us while we were there. The island is well worth a visit with its wonderful views, welcoming staff and excellent food. Once again we would like to name some of the staff and apologies to those we have failed to mention. It was lovely to meet staff who have become our friends over many years also talk to those who have only been there for a short while. Thanks to everyone but especially - Krishen, Nishad (wonderful man), Sivan, Sandash, Leena, Sabrina, Yuvna, lovely Yaswini, Jessica, Vellah, Devesh, Veer, Dheeraj, Yanish, Akilash, Jaya, Avishna, Jude, Edinho and finally our marvellous cleaner Marie France. We have no hesitation in recommending Tamassa to those looking for a holiday in Mauritius. We are hoping to return next year to meet old and new friends once again. Read less

Happy, smiling and made things enjoyable. The facilities are very good. Loved the revamped giant games - makes it more fun. Things to add - Make one of the pool heated. That would be perfect! Also, a bit sad that Mauritians are not always around. Not that the trainees are bad, but Mauritians are bilingual and you sense more warmth. Hopefully, the foreign workers can learn that Mauritian hospitality and warmth (and French language). The chef was very kind as was Devianee and the Indian trainees - Shreya, Priya, Harsh, Singh, Rohit and all. All the best! Read less
