Superior Rooms are set within the resorts gardens and have 1 queen-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Superior Rooms sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 teen or 1 child or 1 baby.

Beach Rooms have beachfront access, iHome radio with USB music dock, and coffee plunger, with 1 queen-size bed plus rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child/teen.

Tamassa Family Room feature bunk beds and a miniature bathroom, suitable for kids, sleeping 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 children, or 2 adults and 3 children or 2 children and 1 baby.

Family Suites are interconnecting, with 1 king-size bed, plus bunk beds in a separate, small air-conditioned room with its own toilet, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 teens or 2 children.

Show Restaurant (open kitchen and buffet breakfasts and dinners). Playa Restaurant (à la carte lunch and dinner on the beach). B-Bar (all-day poolside drinks and lunches, with TV screen), Burger Truck (lunchtime burgers and snacks) and ice cream parlour (open during lunchtimes).

Jalsa resort nightclub - the very first to open in the South of the island (open Wed, Sat. Opening days/hours are subject to change). Outdoor cinema (twice per week, weather permitting, available only at Studio 17 teen club).

He is simply awesome and love the moustache! To be very honest, every single member of staff was extremely attentive, polite and genuinely helpful - I’m so sorry I cannot remember all their names! The hotel itself is right in front of the beach and has a lot of facilities. Three swimming pools, two restaurants, loads of places to take beautiful pics, bar, burger shack, village game, tourist shops etc. A visit to the wellness centre is also well worth it! Food was very fresh and very, very yummy. Had a good variety from different parts of the world including traditional Mauritian cuisine, of course! Enjoyed all our meals from breakfast to dinner. Our rooms were very clean and had everything we required to make our stay comfortable (shower, bath tub, wardrobe, safe, hairdryer, kettle, coffee machine, air conditioning, tv and usb charging points. I cannot rate Tamassa Hotel enough. Lovely atmosphere, lovely place, lovely staff and value for money! Although quite a big place, it was not noisy or disturbing. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tamassa Bel Ombre Mauritius and would happily rate it 5 stars. The highlight of our holiday was definitely the beautiful beach and the family-friendly atmosphere. Traveling as a family with two children and a teenager, we felt the resort was perfectly suited for all ages, with plenty to enjoy together. The staff were very welcoming and professional throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the kids club “TAMTAM” and the two ladies running it, who were fantastic with the children and made a real difference to our experience. Milenna, who checked us in and supported us during our stay, truly embodied Mauritian warmth, hospitality, and kindness—she left a lasting impression on our family. The food was excellent across the board. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the burger truck, and the beach restaurant. In-room dining was also consistently very good, making the overall culinary experience outstanding. Our room was nice and comfortable, although it could benefit from slight renovation. The resort facilities were excellent, particularly the pools and gym, which were well maintained and enjoyable for both adults and children. We did experience a couple of brief electricity outages, but they were resolved very quickly and did not affect our stay in any meaningful way. Our stay at Tamassa Bel Ombre was absolutely unforgettable. The incredible team truly made the trip! Yassin served us the most amazing drinks with a smile , Sid kept everyone entertained with his infectious energy, and Nishad went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly taken care of all along.
