We stayed at the cove suites with our 11 and 7 year old. The whole experience from check in was amazing. Having the pool at the cove suite was a big advantage as there was never a problem getting a bed next to the pool. If you couldn’t get a bed by the beach in the morning there were usually some in the afternoon as people had moved on. It never felt crowded. It was very relaxed and you have to remember you are on island time, when ordering drinks or food it often took a while to arrive but we had nowhere else to be so this didn’t matter. The kids club was amazing. My children have always refused to go to kids clubs anywhere they have been but Ainsley introduced herself my to daughter on our second evening and the next day she was desperate to go to kids club. Both my children spent a lot of time there, we even got two meals to ourselves when they had the movie nights. Ainsley and Abigail were so fantastic I can’t praise them enough. My son had a hobbie cat lesson which was $35 but he was out for over an hour and was then able to take them out with my husband, which was a fantastic experience. If we went again the one thing they didn’t seem to have were snacks. You could buy things from the Boutique at a very inflated price but we would definitely bring our own next time. When the restaurants were closed there was no other way of getting food, which when all inclusive was disappointing. We probably wouldn’t have noticed if we didn’t have children with us but they would often be hungry before dinner. We had an incredible family holiday and would come back in a heartbeat. Read less

We had a marvelous time celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the beginning of April. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The property is stunning. The food at all three restaurants was delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. There were many folks that cared for us throughout the week, but a few of the standouts were Jenima in housekeeping, Mikhael, and our beautiful concierge Nicole. She checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We sure hope to return next year. Thanks Blue Water for all the love. Read less

I had the pleasure of staying at Blue Waters Resort & Spa in Antigua, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The resort offers a blend of luxury, tranquility, and impeccable service that makes it stand out as one of the best places to stay on the island. Service (5/5): The service at Blue Waters was outstanding. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was professional, attentive, and friendly. The team went out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met, making our stay more enjoyable and stress-free. Location (5/5): The resort is set in a prime location with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The beaches are pristine and not overcrowded, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The resort is close enough to popular spots on the island, but far enough to offer peace and seclusion. Accommodation (5/5): Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and had all the amenities you would expect from a luxury resort. The bed was comfortable, and the views from the room were incredible. The resort also offers a variety of room options, including suites and villas, catering to different preferences and needs. Dining (5/5): The resort’s dining options are diverse and high-quality. We enjoyed several meals at different restaurants on the property, each offering a mix of international and local cuisine. The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Spa (5/5): The spa at Blue Waters was a highlight of the stay. We opted for a couples massage, and it was incredibly relaxing. The spa offers a wide range of treatments in a serene environment, which is perfect for unwinding. Amenities (5/5): Blue Waters offers plenty of activities for guests. Whether you enjoy water sports, fitness, or lounging by the pool, there’s something for everyone. The facilities are well-maintained, and the resort has a laid-back yet luxurious atmosphere. Overall (5/5): Blue Waters Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations in every way. We arrived at Blue Waters to a fantastically warm welcome, a cold lavender scented towel, welcome drinks and our room was ready for us. We stayed in a Cove Suite and I can’t lie - I was a little disappointed. We have a running joke in my family that it doesn’t matter how much I spend, I’ll always get the worst room in the block and Blue Waters kept that tradition! We were in a ground floor mid-terrace room without the additional sleeping lounge area I’d seen on pictures which meant my daughter sleeping on a sofa bed at the end of our bed. The room completely lacked privacy and anyone around the pool could see straight in (the rooms on each end had a privacy hedge covering their terrace but we had open steps). I had also previously emailed the hotel and they had agreed that there would be something in the room to mark my husbands 50th birthday. Sadly, this didn’t happen. If anyone is considering Cove Suite versus the Luxury Suite, it’s hard to know what would be better. You don’t get ‘your own pool’ with the suite but they looked much more private and quiet and were the same price range with a separate lounge. However, in the Cove Suite, we were very lucky to have our ‘pool’ almost to ourselves for the whole week which was fantastic and there was never an issue getting a sun lounger at any time of the day. This is where any negativity ends because everything else was top class. Exquisite food in every restaurant especially The Cove, engaging and happy staff, stunning landscaping and amazing views at every turn and we were lucky enough to get a late checkout which felt like we had been gifted an extra days holiday. We can understand why people visit time and time again. Read less

Every little detail is taken care of down to a candle on the balcony! Don’t worry about your shampoo/conditioner or shower gels theirs are super. We’ve eaten at all three restaurants and on the beach one evening and my fussy 🧑‍🍳 husband is impressed. Plenty of sun beds and a quiet adults pool too. Although it’s the Easter holidays it doesn’t feel full of children, theirs always a quiet space to be found. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble - our air con was a tad noisy but was fixed in no time. We ll struggle to leave. Read less
