The hotel

Located on the Northwest tip of Antigua, the Cove Suites are part of the Blue Waters resort, offering luxurious all-inclusive accommodation within easy reach of the hotel’s outstanding range of facilities. Set in 5 acres of tropical landscaped garden, the lavish suites offer island-inspired décor, spacious living areas, and spectacular ocean views. Cove guests can enjoy exclusive access to four infinity-edged swimming pools, and the Cove Restaurant is right next door, with a gourmet menu that’s well-esteemed by locals. When you can drag yourself away from your idyllic surrounds, it’s time to explore what Blue Waters has to offer – a truly superb hotel, renowned for its high standards of service, and with activities galore – including an 18-hole golf course just 5 minutes away! Watersports are complimentary, so try your hand at windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkelling, or hop onboard a Hobie Cat and sail the high seas. Enjoy a peaceful dinner in one of two restaurants – one of which is located in the main hotel, Blue Waters – before enjoying live entertainment, which is offered most evenings. Afterwards, relax with a nightcap in the Pelican Bar until it’s time to return to your suite to retire in luxury. For something even more special, treat yourself to a stay in one of the Cove’s four exquisite Penthouse Suites, each beautifully appointed, with three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Where is it

Located in historic Soldiers Bay on two white sandy beaches at the northwest tip of the island. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

Hotel information

24 Cove Suites and 4 Penthouses on 3 floors in 4 buildings. 

Cove Suites are located in an elevated position, a short walk from the beach and facilities of the main hotel. Each lavishly appointed suite comprises of a spacious, open-planned living area and bedroom, bathroom with free-standing baths and private balcony/terrace with spectacular sea views and exclusive access to four clifftop infinity-edge pools. Sleeps maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All-Inclusive of: all meals, sundowner service including cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, some premium-brand drinks, house and sparkling wine and mini-bar items. All activities and entertainment above unless otherwise stated.

Please note: Cove Penthouse Suites are based on a breakfast included basis. All-Inclusive is available at a supplement.

Please note: the All Inclusive programme is available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival and until 12:00pm on the day of departure. If you want to dine outside of these times, you can do this and charge to your account.

Cove Penthouse Suites – accommodation features 3 separate bedrooms, 2 of which have enormous double balconies boasting panoramic views of the island. Facilities include a separate living room, kitchen and en-suite bathrooms, sleeping maximum 7 adults or 6 adults and 4 children. Please note: this room is on a breakfast included basis, all inclusive is available at a supplement.

3 restaurants, 2 of which can be found at the main hotel, Blue Waters: The Palm Restaurant (open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), The Cove Restaurant (dinner, open days vary seasonally), Carolyn's Beach Bar & Restaurant (open daily for lunch and throughout the day for a refreshing cocktail). 3 bars: Pelican cocktail bar and lounge, Carolyn's Beach Bar and Veronica's bar.

Daily activities and live evening entertainment most days. 

7 swimming pools (4 exclusively for Cove Suites guests), Jacuzzi, floodlit tennis court, spa with Elemis and ila treatments* (local charge for treatments), fitness centre, table tennis, pool table, yoga, aqua aerobics, water sports: windsurfing, sailing (daily group lessons), kayaks, Hobie Cats, pedalos and snorkelling equipment. Complimentary kids activity programme Monday-Friday (for ages 5-12). Access to a WhatsApp service for arranging excursions, spa treatments, and more*.

Dress code: Palm Restaurant and Pelican Bar - these facilities, being informal leisure areas, accept shorts (tailored) and other smart casual wear, including T-shirts. At The Cove Restaurant, elegant evening attire is requested. Shorts are not accepted (no T-shirts). Black tie is requested Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Please note: this hotel may be unsuitable for guests with mobility restrictions as there are steps around the grounds and down to the beach.

Every team member is friendly, attentive and truly takes pride in their role, contributing to the overall comfort and beauty of the property. Kevin, the hotel manager, regularly circulates among the guests to ensure each stay exceeds expectations. Nicole, also a manager, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She arranged two off-site excursions for our family, adjusted our dinner reservations seamlessly, and checked in with us daily to make sure everything was perfect. At Blue Waters, guests are not simply identified by room number, but by name - a thoughtful touch that reflects the resort's genuine hospitality. All restaurants good, espeially salads at Reef for light lunch. All staff , led by general manager Kevin Philips who was always around and happy to chat to us, were efficlent, friendly, helpful, but particular mention to Tremaine at Veronica's bar, Kina, Keva and Sparkel at The Palm, Karen P and Jeffrson on reception, and John the head gardener. Deltas: need much better risk assessment explanations for water sports e.g. wind and tide strength, do's and dont's, what to do if in difficulty. If staying for more than 7… Read more
