The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua is a modern adult-only, All-Inclusive getaway, perfect for couples. While a part of the larger Nonsuch Bay Resort complex, Escape Antigua is located on the other side of the hill which is out of sight and at least a quarter of a mile away from the Residences section of the resort. The Escape features its own fine-dining restaurant, reception, lounge and other public facilities. All meals are provided exclusively at the Drift restaurant located at Escape.

Hotel information

40 luxury ocean front plunge pool suites designed with comfort, romance and island living in mind. Each suite is designed with a king-sized bed, along with an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and double vanity basins. The suites also feature an elegant wet bar/coffee centre, along with a seating area perfectly aligned to the views, an outdoor soaking tub and relaxing day beds overlooking the private plunge pool. Available with either a garden view or a bay view, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise stated.

The Drift Restaurant & Bar is opened for cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as apart of the All-Inclusive package.

Guests can also use the beach and beach bar located at the Residences section of the resort. Complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms and in the lobby reception. Pre-arrival contactless check-in system, allowing guests to skip the check-in line and focus on enjoying their stay.

There is a mandatory Tourism Guest Levy for all guests over the age of 6 of $5 per person, per night, (payable locally on departure, subject to change).

We have not long returned from 14 nights here. I wrote to them before my arrival asking for a room near to the restaurant etc as I have mobility issues. We have not long returned from 14 nights here. I wrote to them before my arrival asking for a room near to the restaurant etc as I have mobility issues. They said they would do there best and wow they certainly did that. We were in a room right next to the pool and restaurant and I did not have to go up and down the normal steps to the room. This really made my holiday. The rooms are amazing, the plunge pool and outside space are second to none. The staff are so friendly and helpful - not one grumpy face in the whole time we were there. A couple of minor negatives - firstly the menu is limited, as we were there for 2 weeks it repeated itself. But the staff go out of their way to get you what you need and I can safely say that for two weeks I was never hungry. My main negative is the lack of shade anywhere in the shared areas. The sun loungers are under a slated roof, as the sun moves round they all end up in the sun. The bar area has a seating area with 2 umbrellas that don't seem to relate to any of the tables. A canopy over that area would be an amazing place to take a break from the Antiguan sun. We hired a car which we used most days just for some variation, after a day at the beach, Escape is an amazing place to come back to. Read less

This resort is amazing ! Rooms are beautiful and the bay view for the top rooms are great ! All the staff are awesome ! Friendly and attention oriented! We will definitely be back for a third stay!

Really relaxing time at the Escape. Staff were so helpful, good food and chilled out atmosphere. Highly recommend the trip to Green Island.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this trip. The room and resort were beautiful, the grounds were nicely kept, the food was delicious, everyone was kind. Disclaimer: this is a peaceful environment to RELAX. If you’re looking for a party place where you’re drinking by 8am and eating till you’re sick, this is not the place for you. Meals are at scheduled times from 7am to 10pm and follow a restaurant menu style; not a buffet. I never felt like I didn’t have enough to eat. There are daily boat shuttles that take you to and from the beach. It is about a 10 minute walk mostly uphill should you choose. I am young and fit. If you do not identify with those words please wait for the shuttle and spare the staff your complaints. The beaches were clean and swimmable and I did not notice any seaweed issues. You can also swim right off of the dock of the resort. They offer shuttle services for nearby activities and can also schedule you a private shuttle if you want to go off on your own. All rooms have a plunge pool and our Premium Bay View room had a wonderful view of the Bay which never got stale during our 10 night stay.
