The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua is a modern adult-only, All-Inclusive getaway, perfect for couples. While a part of the larger Nonsuch Bay Resort complex, Escape Antigua is located on the other side of the hill which is out of sight and at least a quarter of a mile away from the Residences section of the resort. The Escape features its own fine-dining restaurant, reception, lounge and other public facilities. All meals are provided exclusively at the Drift restaurant located at Escape.

Located at Hughes Point, on the beautiful Nonsuch Bay on the East Coast of Antigua. Transfer time from airport: 40 minutes.

Hotel information

40 luxury ocean front plunge pool suites designed with comfort, romance and island living in mind. Each suite is designed with a king-sized bed, along with an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and double vanity basins. The suites also feature an elegant wet bar/coffee centre, along with a seating area perfectly aligned to the views, an outdoor soaking tub and relaxing day beds overlooking the private plunge pool. Available with either a garden view or a bay view, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise stated.

Deluxe Plunge Pool Suite - available to book from the 1st July 2025. Suites offer better views and locations than the Garden Views with access to additional amenities.

Shuttle from The Escape to Nonsuch Bay. Shuttle by boat from The Escape to the nearby beaches of an Offshore Island*.

The Drift Restaurant & Bar is opened for cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as apart of the All-Inclusive package.

1 infinity pool (separate from all private plunge pools). Spa services*. Kayaking. Yoga*. Nature walks. Resort extras* (floating amenities, private picnics, private dinners and sunset cruise). Guests can also use the beach and beach bar located at the Residences section of the resort. 'Escape with Love' experiences and Resort Extras that can be added to your trip (advance booking recommended).

Complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms and in the lobby reception. Pre-arrival contactless check-in system, allowing guests to skip the check-in line and focus on enjoying their stay.

There is a mandatory Tourism Guest Levy for all guests over the age of 6 of $5 per person, per night, (payable locally on departure, subject to change).

Just returned from 9 nights at Escape…what can I say! I would return in a heartbeat! Went with my parents and my son for a complete rest and relaxation holiday and that is exactly what we got! It isn’t your usual all inclusive which others have explained in their reviews and suited us perfectly, drinks are plentiful and the food was delicious - we never had a bad meal there. You get a QR code to download the days menu and you book in your meal times at breakfast which is well organised. I am vegetarian and I would just say that there wasn’t always a veggie option on the menu but you just ask and the chef will provide you with something yummy! The room was great, spacious, simple, clean and comfy and the pool in the room is a great addition, gave you a little sanctuary to chill out and have some quality time together. The dock area was also nice to get away from the main pool area, there was seating available and you could take a drink down there. The staff throughout the resort were amazing from the restaurant staff to the maintenance staff, the cleaners, the security man on the entrance and the reception staff! Everyone was helpful and friendly; always a wave and a smile as you’re walking around! We rented a car (plenty of parking space at the resort) and we didn’t go mad but added in three or four island exploration days and was lucky enough to watch the first day of the second test of Windies v Sri Lanka which was a great experience (organised this ourselves). We also did the excursion to Green Island which was like our own private beach, spent 2 hours snorkelling and was lucky enough to see some turtles! This was organised by reception staff and was easy to book! We went out to the beaches more than attend the one attached to the resort but when we went that was fine, the water had a lot of seaweed but the beach was relatively clean of it! It was extremely quiet and there is a free shuttle and I would DEFINITELY recommend getting that as the walk can be brutal in the heat! It is exactly how it looks on the website…if you want a quiet, relaxed holiday away from the hustle and bustle book it, you won’t regret it!! Read less

I had such an amazing time at this little getaway. I am local and decided to visit this little secret spot for two days. I certainly did not know what to expect, but it was beyond my expectations. The greeting by the receptionist. What a warm kind welcoming smile!. We could not forget. We wanted to see her everyday as we passed to the restaurant lol. The room was simple yet just perfect. The private pool and the soaking tub was all we needed. We ate and soaked. We ate and relaxed in the pool. Our little private pool! The food was simple and uncomplicated. I had buffet for dinner one day and à la carte the next evening and both nights were quite amazing. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. It is a secret little hideaway for couples, for friends, for those who just want to have some alone time, and for that day you say ‘WHY NOT’ let me have a little ESCAPE! We have just returned from a wonderful one-week stay at The Escape at Nonsuch Bay, Antigua, and honestly, it was everything we were hoping for and more. The whole experience was incredibly relaxed, peaceful, and quiet – exactly what we needed. We’ve come home feeling completely refreshed and chilled. One of the highlights of our trip was taking part in the hotel’s own organised excursions. We joined Dave’s trip to Green Island, which was absolutely fantastic. Unlike the larger organised tours, it was just me and my husband, making it feel very personal and special. Dave showed us a family of turtles that he knows individually, and we were able to spend time interacting with them in a way that simply wouldn’t be possible on a bigger excursion. It was an unforgettable experience. Another standout was the hotel’s Rum and Reggae Sunset Cruise. Again, this was a wonderfully intimate experience, with just ourselves and one other couple on board. We were hosted by Big O, who took us on a fascinating little tour around the headland. A delicious buffet was provided, along with plenty of rum punch and even a bottle of champagne for each couple. Watching the sunset while cruising around the bay was magical and easily one of the best things we did during our stay. The rooms are beautiful, and the private dipping pools were such a luxury. After spending a hot day at the beach, it was lovely to come back and cool off in our own pool before dinner. As mentioned in other , the local beach does have quite a lot of seaweed, but there are still small areas where you can sit and cool down in the sea. The real bonus is that the beach is incredibly quiet, often feeling as though you have it almost entirely to yourself. The beach bar is also very convenient and serves tasty paninis at lunchtime. The staff throughout the resort were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they genuinely contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. The food was another highlight. There was a different menu every day, with two choices for each course. The cuisine is Caribbean-inspired, but the chefs are very accommodating and happy to adjust the spice levels to suit your preference. Overall, The Escape at Nonsuch Bay truly felt like paradise. From the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful accommodation to the wonderful staff and memorable excursions, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing Caribbean escape. Read less

The atmosphere is wonderful as well as the staff. We did the private dinner by the pool and it surpassed expectations. The room was a couples dream. Will definitely visit again
