The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua is a modern adult-only, All-Inclusive getaway, perfect for couples. While a part of the larger Nonsuch Bay Resort complex, Escape Antigua is located on the other side of the hill which is out of sight and at least a quarter of a mile away from the Residences section of the resort. The Escape features its own fine-dining restaurant, reception, lounge and other public facilities. All meals are provided exclusively at the Drift restaurant located at Escape.

Located at Hughes Point, on the beautiful Nonsuch Bay on the East Coast of Antigua. Transfer time from airport: 40 minutes.

Hotel information

40 luxury ocean front plunge pool suites designed with comfort, romance and island living in mind. Each suite is designed with a king-sized bed, along with an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and double vanity basins. The suites also feature an elegant wet bar/coffee centre, along with a seating area perfectly aligned to the views, an outdoor soaking tub and relaxing day beds overlooking the private plunge pool. Available with either a garden view or a bay view, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise stated.

Deluxe Plunge Pool Suite - available to book from the 1st July 2025. Suites offer better views and locations than the Garden Views with access to additional amenities.

Shuttle from The Escape to Nonsuch Bay. Shuttle by boat from The Escape to the nearby beaches of an Offshore Island*.

The Drift Restaurant & Bar is opened for cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as apart of the All-Inclusive package.

Guests can also use the beach and beach bar located at the Residences section of the resort. 'Escape with Love' experiences and Resort Extras that can be added to your trip (advance booking recommended).

Complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms and in the lobby reception. Pre-arrival contactless check-in system, allowing guests to skip the check-in line and focus on enjoying their stay.

There is a mandatory Tourism Guest Levy for all guests over the age of 6 of $5 per person, per night, (payable locally on departure, subject to change).

Location is away from crowded development. Atmosphere is romantic. Room nice and clean. Quiet noise level. Excellent service. Not many amenities but private pool makes up for it.

We have just returned from a wonderful one-week stay at The Escape at Nonsuch Bay, Antigua, and honestly, it was everything we were hoping for and more. The whole experience was incredibly relaxed, peaceful, and quiet – exactly what we needed. We’ve come home feeling completely refreshed and chilled. One of the highlights of our trip was taking part in the hotel’s own organised excursions. We joined Dave’s trip to Green Island, which was absolutely fantastic. Unlike the larger organised tours, it was just me and my husband, making it feel very personal and special. Dave showed us a family of turtles that he knows individually, and we were able to spend time interacting with them in a way that simply wouldn’t be possible on a bigger excursion. It was an unforgettable experience. Another standout was the hotel’s Rum and Reggae Sunset Cruise. Again, this was a wonderfully intimate experience, with just ourselves and one other couple on board. We were hosted by Big O, who took us on a fascinating little tour around the headland. A delicious buffet was provided, along with plenty of rum punch and even a bottle of champagne for each couple. Watching the sunset while cruising around the bay was magical and easily one of the best things we did during our stay. The rooms are beautiful, and the private dipping pools were such a luxury. After spending a hot day at the beach, it was lovely to come back and cool off in our own pool before dinner. As mentioned in other , the local beach does have quite a lot of seaweed, but there are still small areas where you can sit and cool down in the sea. The real bonus is that the beach is incredibly quiet, often feeling as though you have it almost entirely to yourself. The beach bar is also very convenient and serves tasty paninis at lunchtime. The staff throughout the resort were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they genuinely contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. The food was another highlight. There was a different menu every day, with two choices for each course. The cuisine is Caribbean-inspired, but the chefs are very accommodating and happy to adjust the spice levels to suit your preference. Overall, The Escape at Nonsuch Bay truly felt like paradise. From the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful accommodation to the wonderful staff and memorable excursions, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing Caribbean escape. Read less

The atmosphere is wonderful as well as the staff. We did the private dinner by the pool and it surpassed expectations. The room was a couples dream. Will definitely visit again

This is a great resort with excellent staff who are all really friendly and helpful. The food and drink is also extremely good. The down sides are that it is very remote so if you want to explore you need taxis or hire car. The beach was disappointing as the small bay was awash with seaweed and algae, meaning the sea water was less than inviting. Read less
