The Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua is a modern adult-only, All-Inclusive getaway, perfect for couples. While a part of the larger Nonsuch Bay Resort complex, Escape Antigua is located on the other side of the hill which is out of sight and at least a quarter of a mile away from the Residences section of the resort. The Escape features its own fine-dining restaurant, reception, lounge and other public facilities. All meals are provided exclusively at the Drift restaurant located at Escape.

Located at Hughes Point, on the beautiful Nonsuch Bay on the East Coast of Antigua. Transfer time from airport: 40 minutes.

Hotel information

40 luxury ocean front plunge pool suites designed with comfort, romance and island living in mind. Each suite is designed with a king-sized bed, along with an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and double vanity basins. The suites also feature an elegant wet bar/coffee centre, along with a seating area perfectly aligned to the views, an outdoor soaking tub and relaxing day beds overlooking the private plunge pool. Available with either a garden view or a bay view, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: all meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All activities and entertainment unless otherwise stated.

Deluxe Plunge Pool Suite - available to book from the 1st July 2025. Suites offer better views and locations than the Garden Views with access to additional amenities.

Shuttle from The Escape to Nonsuch Bay. Shuttle by boat from The Escape to the nearby beaches of an Offshore Island*.

The Drift Restaurant & Bar is opened for cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as apart of the All-Inclusive package.

1 infinity pool (separate from all private plunge pools). Spa services*. Kayaking. Yoga*. Nature walks. Resort extras* (floating amenities, private picnics, private dinners and sunset cruise). Guests can also use the beach and beach bar located at the Residences section of the resort. 'Escape with Love' experiences and Resort Extras that can be added to your trip (advance booking recommended).

Complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms and in the lobby reception. Pre-arrival contactless check-in system, allowing guests to skip the check-in line and focus on enjoying their stay.

There is a mandatory Tourism Guest Levy for all guests over the age of 6 of $5 per person, per night, (payable locally on departure, subject to change).

The Escape Nonsuch bay was such a wonderful place to holiday. We wanted quiet and relaxed and it delivered this in spades. As others have said, the staff are incredible and so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and bar area in the mornings and the sun shone onto the private pools in the afternoons. The resort itself offers excursions like romantic boat rides and snorkeling to green island nearby to see turtles, and they also sorted transport and everything else for anything else you may wish to do. We met couples celebrating anniversaries or there with friends so it was a nice atmosphere at the bar in the evenings. It is definitely an inclusive place and everyone was equally welcomed regardless who they're with, or anything else. It is all about smiles and good times. My husband and I did a private boat tour at sunset with champagne which I would definitely recommend to see the area around the resort, and get lovely pictures. The food varied each day, and also didn't just repeat for the second week we were there. It was all delicious and varied. All in all, I would highly recommend this resort. There is a beach a short walk away over the hill but if you are set on beaches, then the west side on the island has larger ones. However, the bay is very beautiful and full of wildlife which we really liked. Thank you to everyone there, we were sad to leave. Read less

The only negative about this hotel is that we can’t permanently live here! From food to drink to staff to the hotel itself, everything was perfect. Breakfast was always super fresh and we appreciated the different daily specials. Lunch was always delicious and the same with dinner. The options were always super we really didn’t ever have a bad meal. The Caribbean bbq night is a must do!! The meat was to die for! A massive thank you to Maxine - you are an absolute gem! And thank you to Naisha with your hilarious jokes about my boyfriend, you never failed to make us laugh. Drinks were always amazing and we loved the daily specials on the cocktail board, my favourite was the Spiked Coffee (definitely try a frozen strawberry colada if you like them!!). Charles makes the BEST pina coladas. Rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious, and having our own pool was a nice romantic touch. The hotel facilities themselves are lovely, with a convenient water bottle refill station at the bar. We never struggled to find a sunbed after breakfast, so didn’t need to reserve one early thankfully! The views from the restaurant of the bay are just beautiful, and sitting at the dock was a nice option for a peaceful evening before dinner. The occasional evening entertainment was also lovely, with singers, pianists and a saxophonist, this made the evenings feel chilled and perfect. Check in and out was easy, so massive thank you to Keirah, you are amazing and so friendly. We did the floating sushi boat - definitely recommend this, so much fresh sushi presented perfectly. Breakfast in bed was amazing again. We also did turtle snorkelling. Our guide was lovely and we saw so many turtles. Green island is also so beautiful. The shuttle to Shirley Heights was super convenient and I’d definitely recommend using this service. We was slightly disappointed by the beach due to the sea weed however this is completely natural and saw some lovely other beaches when we left the hotel. The hotel beach bar was great and provided another different but great list of cocktails to the hotel. The shuttle to the beach is very handy! Overall we had the most amazing stay here and are already planning out next trip back. You really won’t be disappointed coming here! Thank you so much to the team! Read less

Honest review: If you want peace and quiet then this is your place , it’s along way from anything and a long expensive taxi ride to anything meaningful. Food: on a whole was pretty good but sometimes was a little lukewarm but the service especially Maxine was excellent. The à la carte might be a bit restrictive for some and if there’s nothing that takes your fancy then it’s $37 for steak or 1/2 lobster. Breakfast was good with a good variety Afternoon tea was a few sandwiches and some salad so get there early The beach and beach bar: short hop across to the beach via shuttle , beach is nice and raked daily unfortunately for us there was an algae bloom and the bay was pretty murky and you couldn’t swim. Pool bar was maned by the excellent Enrique, bar had a selection of drinks and panini or wraps daily. Rooms are just as the pictures you see with the pools and are lovely, only downside is when you arrive you have 2 bottles of water you need to keep these and refill them by the bar as they are not replenished without a cost. Pool area: Small but perfectly functional with a nice pool 1.5m depth decking and tables could do with more chairs at one point there was only 8 so we borrowed a few from the restaurant once they had stopped serving. Trips: these can be expensive and often require an additional cost for a taxi so be aware, we hired a car and that was €65 a day plus you drivers permit on top, the island is small and definitely worth an explore.
