I loved everything about my stay at here! The atmosphere, the staff, the food! Everything was nothing short of amazing. I actually didn’t want to leave. I just wish the food selection had more options. However, BBQ was my favorite night on the resort. If you’re looking for a sign to book….. This is your sign. Read less

Just got back from a stay at Escape and it really is exactly that, an escape from everything. It's not your typical all-inclusive resort, but the food was simple, fresh, and tasty. The team at the front desk was also great, helping us with excursion and arranging taxis whenever we needed them. There is some seaweed on the island at the moment, but the team there works hard to clear it. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway away from the crowds, Escape is definitely worth considering. Read less

My recent stay at Nonsuch Bay Resort was a bad vacation . First and foremost, this resort looks ok. The rooms are reasonably designed , with a plunge pool that’s secluded. There’s a certain peacefulness and sense of tranquility, especially when you're looking for a private, intimate getaway except for the door locks no key cards I mean old-fashioned not secure locks. However, Nonsuch Bay really misses the mark on service in a way that In all my 38 years of traveling I’ve never experienced service quite like this at a resort. where attentive service should be the standard, not an afterthought. We were given two bottles of water and told to bring them to a dispenser next the bar and refill them from this set up if you want more water unbelievable. The room service is every other day and wash clothes have to be requested who does that?. Now, let’s talk about the food. Bad doesn’t begin to cover it. Even though reviews online hyped up the culinary offerings, we were left unimpressed, to put it mildly. Breakfast was uninspired no fresh fruit. but melon even though the mangoes literally falling off the trees and pineapple growing on the island little or no juice or fruit with a limited menu that forced us to eat the same thing each day, after waiting 20 to 30minutes for something as basic as eggs and bacon. Lunch was a repetitive bland non seasoned as Dinner didn’t fare much better. The menu was limited to uninspired dishes like pasta, burgers, and the occasional poorly prepared chicken or fish. And while this resort advertises itself as all-inclusive, any attempt to order something “premium” like steak or lobster meant an extra $40, which simply wasn’t worth it. The steak was tough, the lobster was not in season and this is from what you’d expect at a “luxury” resort. To further add insult I asked the waitress for something else since I was in happy with dinner selection and asked could I please have a burger I was told burger was only served for lunch and was they would gladly prepare me another $40 steak to supplement the very limited dinner selection. Customer service was unacceptable As disappointing as all that was, what stung the most was how the resort handled our anniversary . A non inspired placement of palm leaves and flowers from bushes on the property on evening of our arrival on the bed , the front desk was dismissive, merely suggesting we come down for dinner instead. This sort of indifference, especially on a special occasion, left a bitter taste. In addition the resort is 45 minutes St John’s and addition to cost of transport can be costly just to get a good meal or acquire personal items if needed Our time at Nonsuch Bay felt like a waste, and while the setting was nice, the service and food fell woefully short. For the price the beach was non existant and covered in seaweed. I wouldn’t recommend going here or maybe try the other side of the island. The value for the money spent was not acceptable.. ⚠️ DO NOT GO HERE: $11k Nightmare and Unusable BeachOverall Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)We spent $11,000 including flights for this trip, only to arrive at a total nightmare. Do not waste your money here. The Beach & Unbearable SmellRotten Egg Odor: The beach has a severe, overpowering smell of rotten eggs due to massive amounts of decaying seaweed. It was so intense that it made us feel physically sick.Unusable Sea: You cannot enjoy the advertised white sand or swim in the lagoon because of the heavy seaweed accumulation.Subpar Amenities & RoomsDerelict Restaurant: The beach restaurant looks completely abandoned and derelict.Disappointing Pool: The pool is tiny and looks nothing like the promotional descriptions or photos. No Water Sports: Despite being heavily advertised, there are absolutely no water sports available on-site.Basic Rooms: The accommodations are completely bog-standard and nothing special.Poor Housekeeping: Room cleaning is not automatic; you have to actively beg staff to get your room cleaned. The "All-Inclusive" ScamRestricted Dining: The all-inclusive package is a myth. Dining is strictly limited to rigid one-hour sittings.Terrible Food Quality: The food quality is awful, and the menu options are incredibly limited.Hidden Fees: Premium items like steak require a hefty extra upcharge.Management & Customer ServiceAbsent Management: Our travel agent tried calling the hotel multiple times to resolve our issues, but management completely ignored the calls and refused to respond.Overstressed Staff: The only positive note is the on-site staff. They are very pleasant, but you can tell they are incredibly stressed handling a failing resort.Final Verdict: Save your hard-earned money and book somewhere else. This resort completely misrepresents what it actually offers. Read less
