An Absolutely Unforgettable Stay at Villa Nautica – Paradise, Perfection & The Most Wonderful Staff ❤️🌴 Where do I even begin? My husband and I have just returned from the most incredible holiday at Villa Nautica Maldives, and I honestly don't think I have enough words to describe just how wonderful our stay was. From the moment we left home and flew out with BA, right through to our journey home, everything felt like a dream. The Maldives itself is breathtaking, but what made our holiday truly unforgettable was the beautiful resort and, above all, the incredible people who work there. We stayed in a Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our room was huge, beautifully presented and had everything we could have wished for, including our own private pool and direct access to that glorious white sandy beach. Waking up every morning in such a beautiful setting was something very special indeed. But for us, the real stars of Villa Nautica are the staff. There are so many wonderful people across the restaurants, bars, housekeeping, spa, water sports and our Island Host who went above and beyond for us. I would love to name everyone, but I would honestly be here all day! So, to anyone whose name I haven't mentioned, please know that we appreciated every single one of you and everything you did to make our holiday so special. ❤️ A special thank you to Geethika I have to start with my beautiful lady Geethika, who greeted us with the warmest, loveliest smile every time we went for a meal. On our first evening, I mentioned that I was a little disappointed with the fruit selection. Well, I certainly wasn't disappointed for long! From then on, I received the most beautiful fruit platter at every meal. It was such a lovely gesture and showed just how much attention the staff paid to the little things and to making sure we were happy. Geethika moved to another restaurant for our last three days, but of course we made sure we went over to see her and say goodbye. ❤️ ❤️ KK & Zarhid I also have to mention KK, who worked in the restaurant and made a point of coming over to speak to us every day, making sure we had everything we wanted and were enjoying ourselves. And then there was Zarhid, who called us his "special guests" and truly made us feel that way. It was my husband's 60th birthday during our stay, and Zarhid went completely above and beyond. He beautifully decorated our table for lunch on my husband's birthday and then did it all over again on our final evening. What a wonderful, thoughtful thing to do. Those little touches created memories that we will treasure forever. Thank you, Zarhid, and thank you to the whole restaurant team. ❤️ ❤️ Our wonderful housekeeper, Thirupathi A huge thank you also goes to Thirupathi, who looked after our room every day, twice a day, always making sure we had everything we needed. And the bed decorations were simply beautiful! Every time we returned to our room there was another lovely surprise waiting for us. Such care and attention to detail. 🍹 The amazing team at Captain's Bar We also have to mention the wonderful team at Captain's Bar. They made sure that my husband and I were never without a drink! We barely had to ask. From the very first day, once we mentioned our room number — 138 — they remembered us and even remembered our favourite drinks. That level of personal service really made us feel looked after. We were so impressed by how attentive and friendly everyone was. ❤️ Our Island Host, Abann And a very special thank you to our Island Host, Abann. As I mentioned, we were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday, and Abann helped organise so many special touches throughout our stay. He arranged a beautiful floating breakfast in our private pool, helped organise our dinner reservation at the Italian restaurant and arranged a wonderful table for us, which was beautifully decorated for my husband's birthday. There was even a birthday cake! My husband was truly spoilt, and Abaan made sure everything ran smoothly. He also organised our departure details and speedboat transfer back to the airport, making the whole process completely stress-free. Thank you, Abaan, for looking after us so wonderfully. ❤️ 🍽️ The food The food throughout our stay was fantastic. We enjoyed the main restaurant, Italian restaurant and Japanese restaurant, and had wonderful meals at all of them. There was plenty of choice and everything we tried was delicious. The service, atmosphere and attention to detail made every meal feel like part of the experience rather than simply "going for dinner". 🧖‍♀️ The Spa The Spa was absolutely beautiful. Not only is it a gorgeous place, but the treatments were wonderful and the staff were warm, welcoming and clearly very experienced. For my husband's birthday, we booked massages for both of us and they were honestly out of this world. They had also decorated the bath beautifully with rose petals, balloons and swans. It was absolutely gorgeous and another moment that made my husband's birthday feel incredibly special. I loved it so much that I went back for a second treatment and had a beautiful facial too! 🏋️‍♀️ Gym & activities I used the gym most mornings and was really impressed with the facilities. It was well equipped and a great place to start the day. We also had a go at canoeing, and the guys at the water sports centre were brilliant — really helpful, friendly and encouraging. The barman at the sports bar was equally lovely. 🌴 Exploring the island My husband and I also loved walking around the island. We took a two-hour walk every day, and every day seemed to bring something new. We saw sharks, stingrays and the beautiful fruit bats, as well as so many other little details that made the island feel alive. There was always something beautiful to see. 🥂 One small suggestion If I had to mention one small thing, it would be the sparkling wine included in the all-inclusive package. There were red and white wines included, but as I don't drink those, I would have loved to have had at least one sparkling wine or prosecco included as an option. I had to purchase it separately with my meals, despite being on the all-inclusive package. This is honestly a very small point and absolutely did not spoil our holiday in any way. In fact, the hotel kindly sent my husband a bottle of sparkling wine with their compliments, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. ❤️ 🌺 Thank you, Villa Nautica I genuinely cannot recommend Villa Nautica Maldives and its wonderful staff enough. Yes, the location is paradise. Yes, the beach is stunning. Yes, the villas, restaurants, spa and facilities are fantastic. But what makes this place truly special is the people. The warmth, kindness, attention to detail and genuine care shown by the staff made us feel incredibly special throughout our stay. So many little things were remembered, anticipated and taken care of without us even having to ask. And for my husband's 60th birthday, they went above and beyond to make it a celebration we will never forget. To everyone at Villa Nautica — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We arrived as guests and left with so many wonderful memories. We will never forget our time in the Maldives, and we certainly won't forget the incredible people who made our stay so special.
