A special thanks to Ms. Annika, our island host, for her outstanding support, care, and assistance throughout our stay. She made sure everything was perfect and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. All the staff members were well-mannered, polite, friendly, and helpful. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We had a wonderful time at Villa Nautica. Our over the sea villa was very nice, slightly tired, but with a lovely big day bed where you could lie rain or shine and watch the beautiful view. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Our host Zameer was great, beyond helpful and his response time to any request was extremely quick. The bar staff were wonderful, especially Buddica who was replenishing your drinks before you’ve finished the last. The food in the lagoon restaurant was fabulous, and the staff were again amazing, your drinks were there ready, each day without even asking for them. The villa was kept immaculately clean by Selvan who went above and beyond checking during the day that everything was okay. The pool was also lovely and pristine and the staff served drinks and water constantly. Would definitely recommend a holiday here for some down time. Read less

We spent 10 wonderful days at this resort for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. The resort itself is beautiful, and the villa we stayed in was absolutely remarkable — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for such a special occasion. A special thank you to Miraj, who was in charge of housekeeping. He was truly outstanding throughout our stay. He was always available, attentive to our needs, incredibly kind, and greeted us with a big smile every day. His warm and welcoming personality really made a difference and contributed greatly to making our honeymoon even more special. We would also like to thank all the staff who welcomed us at the restaurant for every meal. Their kindness, smiles, and attentiveness made each dining experience even more enjoyable. We stayed at Villa Nautica for six nights as a family and had a wonderful and memorable holiday. Overall, I would rate our experience 4.5/5, although some aspects easily deserve more than five stars. Booking our holiday through Emirates Holidays was a blessing in itself. We were met by their team on arrival in Malé and then received by a Villa Nautica representative who coordinated our transfer to the resort. Having everything taken care of from the airport, made travelling with family considerably easier. The welcome at Villa Nautica was equally smooth. Several members of staff were there to receive us, we were taken by buggy to the main area, offered refreshing towels and a welcome drink, and given an introduction to the resort. We reached the island at approximately 9:45–10:00 AM and were fortunate to receive an early check-in. We were settled in and able to enjoy lunch at Bageecha Restaurant between 12:00–2:00 PM, so we effectively had almost the entire first day to enjoy the resort. Our Deluxe Beach Pool Villa was outstanding — easily 6/5 for us. It was spacious, comfortable, offered excellent privacy and was conveniently located around a two-minute walk from Bageecha. The biggest highlight, however, was the staff and service — 10/5. Our villa host, Zameer, looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. Manu at Bageecha was wonderful, and our housekeeping team did an excellent job. A special mention has to go to Komal at Captain's Bar, who was incredibly kind to our son and always made an effort to keep him happy — including making sure he got his strawberry milkshake whenever we visited. It's these small personal touches that you remember after returning home. There were also many other members of staff who took excellent care of us whose names I unfortunately can't remember, and our sincere thanks go to them as well. The resort also surprised us with a beautifully decorated room and a cake, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture from Zameer and the team. For families, there is plenty to do. Villa Nautica organises different activities for adults and children every day, which keeps everyone engaged throughout the stay. There is table tennis, tennis, basketball, billiards, indoor and outdoor gyms, Jacuzzi and sauna, board games at Captain's Bar, as well as plenty of water-sports options. The swimming pool was very good, and we also really enjoyed Aramu Spa. The treatments were excellent, while the beautiful and peaceful surroundings make the spa experience particularly relaxing. The island itself has beautiful scenery, a lovely beach and clear water. There is also a house reef, and we saw different fish and even a stingray during our stay, which added to the experience. Having a mosque, clinic and pharmacy on the island also provides additional convenience and peace of mind when travelling as a family. My wife particularly enjoyed the food, especially the selection of salads, fresh food and healthier options, which gave her plenty to choose from. Wi-Fi coverage was very good in our villa and across most public areas. It isn't available literally everywhere on the island, but the coverage was more than adequate, and I was able to attend to some work during the trip without any issues. Safety was something I had thought about before travelling. Living in the UAE, you become accustomed to a very high standard of safety, but any concern disappeared quickly. We felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We also travelled during the wet season, which we were initially concerned about after looking at the weather forecasts. Yes, it rained and occasionally affected our plans, but it was nowhere near as bad as we had expected. We still had plenty of time to enjoy the island and facilities, and guests were arriving at the resort every day regardless of the weather. I therefore wouldn't automatically rule out the Maldives during the wet season. The weather can be unpredictable, but the more attractive rates can work in your favour. Considering the quality of the villa, facilities, location and level of service, we felt Villa Nautica offered excellent value for money. One piece of advice I would give anyone travelling to the Maldives is to pay attention to flight timings, not just the airfare. An early flight can make a huge difference. Reaching Villa Nautica before 10:00 AM and receiving early check-in meant we gained almost an entire day at the resort. Our departure was equally smooth. Our flight was at 11:15 AM, so we left the resort at approximately 8:15 AM, but we were still able to enjoy the breakfast buffet beforehand. Our luggage was taken care of, and assistance was provided at the airport to ensure our check-in went smoothly. Our experience with Emirates Holidays from arrival through departure was excellent. I can't say which elements of the airport assistance were specifically connected to our booking, but the service we personally received made the entire journey remarkably easy, and I would definitely consider booking the same way again. Finally, Villa Nautica's proximity to Malé is a major advantage, particularly for families. The relatively short speedboat journey means you're at the resort quickly after landing rather than spending another significant part of the day travelling. Overall, Villa Nautica gave us a fantastic family holiday and excellent value for money. The villa exceeded our expectations, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained, the island was beautiful and, above all, the staff made us feel genuinely well looked after. A huge thank you to Zameer, Manu, Komal, our housekeeping team and all the other staff members whose names I unfortunately can't remember for taking such good care of our family.
