Had a very nice family holiday here. We did have a few issues but the resort Manager Nahid and his team worked very hard to resolve them and make up for it. Overall I would say that the resort is a good choice for families to experience the Maldives as very close to Male airport by boat connection and general vibe is that kids are welcome. Room choice / location here is critically important in my opinion. Strongly recommend the Sunset Beach Pool Villas (on the side close to the water sports area) for a much more authentic ‘Maldives’ view… this section of the lagoon has a mostly unobscured ocean / reef view yet is close to all amenities. Room comes with a fab private beach to enjoy sunsets etc. Some rooms here have views that might not meet your dream Maldives mental picture. We also spent two nights in an over water villa to experience that but with a kid in tow we definitely felt the Beach bungalow was better. Food / dining is other item to watch out for… the main buffet restaurant Bageecha is only ‘ok’ and has a somewhat chaotic feel. Definitely gets boring if eating all your meals here. The chefs will make you some custom dishes on occasion if you don’t love the buffet options… ask. If at all possible I suggest you try for access to the Lagoon buffet at times to change things up and despite the extra cost do ‘dine around’ a few nights… Hook restaurant has spectacular views. All inclusive was good here with plentiful bars and snack options. Nice kids club. Free kayaking and the fishing trip included was cool. Do attend fire show and the coconut educational display event if you can. Overall the best asset the resort has are the staff who are super friendly and really try hard to make your stay enjoyable. Big thanks to our island host Sayuru (a great guy) and to Arjit, Eyman & Sunil on the F&B team. For a bit of value for money and a kid friendly Maldives visit this is a good option. It’s maybe not super luxury or the isolated remote island dream you might have pictured but in relative terms we were happy as a first Maldives experience. Read less

A big thank you as well to the kids’ club team! Our 6-year-old had an amazing time and wanted to be there every moment of our stay. It was especially convenient during the hottest hours of the day, as he could play and socialize with other children in a cool, spacious, air-conditioned environment. The kids’ club was very well equipped and even featured separate sleeping rooms for children of different ages. Overall, the hotel is extremely family-friendly, with thoughtful areas like a dedicated kids’ corner in the main restaurant. The food was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the Italian à la carte restaurant. There are also some beautiful spots around the island for snorkeling. We had the incredible experience of swimming with sharks and manta rays in the shallow waters right near the beach. Read less

Coming straight from my longest swim race, I just needed to switch off—and Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort delivered exactly that. From the airport pickup alone, you already feel it. Smooth speedboat transfer, air-conditioned, super comfortable—parang transition agad from chaos to calm. Then you arrive, and the welcome? Honestly one of the warmest I’ve experienced in the Maldives. You instantly feel taken care of. What I love is everything’s in one island. You’ve got a clinic, basketball, tennis, volleyball, bikes, and all the water sports you can think of. There’s even a spa (which I skipped—I just wanted to fully bum on the beach 😅). And the beach… sobrang ganda. Super fine sand, really clean, and peaceful. Perfect spot to just lie down, soak up the sun, and do absolutely nothing. The room? Exactly how it looks online—no expectations vs reality issue here. Clean, complete, everything working. You get what you see. But what really stood out is the service. They assign you a guest relations officer from check-in to check-out—checking in on you, updating you, helping with anything you need. It makes the whole stay feel very personal. Overall, it was the kind of reset I needed—especially sharing it with my mom. Just pure relaxation, no stress, just enjoying the moment. Read less

We stayed here 'accidentally' for our 3 nights on our honeymoon in March. We were originally meant to stay at their sister resort Royal Island, but flight delays meant the commute was no longer possible at the time of day that we landed in to Male. The Villa Group initially stepped in to offer us 1 night at Villa Nautica, a mere 20 minute boat ride from the airport, which we gratefully accepted. Upon arrival however, we were offered by the staff to stay all 3 nights should we choose to, instead of our original resort. We were so impressed by the facilities and the staff, along with dreading the thought of more commuting the next day, we accepted their offer. Our beach pool villa was spacious, clean and modern , with a fabulous private pool and a short walk at the end of our garden to the beach. We were assigned an extremely attentive and capable host/assistant called DILLON (big shout out to DILLON), who had recently joined the resort and appeared to be really enjoying his new role. He was contactable by WhatsApp and was very helpful with reserving tables and providing vital information. The all-inclusive aspect does have some small room for improvement (for example , the buffet food could be slightly better quality), but the food we had in the a la carte restaurants (we tried both the seafood and the Italian restaurants) was sublime and all staff were extremely friendly. We did enjoy the 24/7 bar a little too much.. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and we now wish to come back to stay at this resort as soon as possible. Big thanks to the Villa Group, Dillion and all the other staff for a memorable stay. Read less
