On the north coast of Mauritius, in Kalodyne, close to the fishermen’s village of Grand Gaube. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

All Inclusive of: breakfast in the main buffet restaurant Karay. Lunch at Lor Disab beach restaurant, Gran Zil BBQ and Taba-J snack bar. Traditional Mauritian afternoon tea at Taba-J snack bar (sweet, savouries and pancakes). Dinner in the main buffet restaurant Karay, Tadka Restaurant, Kot Nou and Manao. Guests also enjoy two dinners at Lor Disab beach restaurant (reservations required, minimum stay 5 nights). Superior Partial Sea View Rooms, Superior Sea View Rooms (with views across the gardens and pool towards the sea) and Superior Beachfront Rooms all have 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child (under 12 years).
Family Rooms feature a main bedroom area and adjacent living area with canopy bed which converts to a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children/teens.
Family Deluxe Rooms have two en-suite bedrooms (one with double bed and a kids' room with 3 single beds), sleeping maximum 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 teens.
Family Apartments consist of two interconnecting Superior Rooms that share a joined entrance hall. Family Apartments Sea View consist of two interconnecting Superior Sea View Rooms (double beds or twin beds) that share a joined entrance hall. They sleep maximum 4 adults and 2 children.
Couples Deluxe Partial Seaview Rooms and Couples Deluxe Beachfront Rooms (with direct sea view) both have 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Couples Junior Suite Beachfront Rooms with a separate living room, and 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.
Couples Privilege Suite Sea View or Couples Privilege Suite Beachfront, both with jacuzzi and 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday at Zilwa. The hotel, bars, and restaurants are all of a fantastic quality. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Whilst I can’t name all the fantastic staff, special shout out to Babita, our housekeeper for her attention to detail and looking out for us, and Jonathon who mixes the most fantastic cocktails. The choices of food and places to eat were fantastic, we did not have a bad meal.
The Spa is well worth a visit, we spent half a day at the beginning of the holiday and it really set the holiday up
I had not been diving for 26 years, but the dive team at Dodo diving on site gave me a refresher and I had 2 wonderful dives.
For any excursions would highly recommend Victor (see hotel Facebook page), who was fantastic, knowledgeable and such a safe driver, we enjoyed the North Island trip, horse riding on the beach, a visit to the Casella nature park, and the 5 Island boat trip which was amazing. You can pre-book a picnic for any days out.
We cannot recommend the island and this hotel enough and would love to visit again.

We stayed at Zilwa Attitude from 12th to 14th April (2 nights, 3 days) on an all-inclusive basis, and it was truly a wonderful experience.
On the first day, we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The staff clearly explained all available activities, along with the timings and locations for meals, including lunch, tea time, breakfast, and dinner. During lunch at Ilot restaurant, Dooshita took great care of us—she was extremely friendly and attentive, and she made sure we were comfortable throughout.
On the second day, we started with a delicious and fulfilling breakfast. We then enjoyed several water activities, including a pedalo and a glass-bottom boat trip, during which we saw beautiful corals and fish. For lunch, we went to Lor Disab restaurant, which offered a wide variety of dishes. Later, we spent time in the pool and even joined a fun game of water polo with other guests, guided by one of the staff members (I believe her name was Geshini).
On the third day, we visited Grand Zil for some sightseeing before checking out at 12 pm. As all-inclusive guests, we were still able to enjoy lunch and tea time until 3:30 pm, which was a great bonus. Before leaving, we even ordered takeaway pizzas, and they were absolutely delicious.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to all the F&B staff who took excellent care of us throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the team at Sirokann Bar for preparing such amazing mocktails and cocktails.
Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing stay, and I would definitely come back to this hotel.
