3rd time here - plenty of attentive staff without being overbearing. Good pool area and very clean - great location for both beaches, Tamarind & Cicada markets and easy to get to town. Very good breakfast. Thanks again!

Nice place in Hua Hin, good rooms, very clean. Staff friendly and happy to assist Pool was excellent, but on a minor point I think they need an upgrade on the towels. We had a buffet tea by the pool on one night and the food was amazing

First time for us in Hua Hin. Hotel overall was excellent value for money, we were bed and breakfast. Efficient and welcoming check in and check out. Our comfortable room was 5th floor overlooking the pool with a nice balcony. I’d say it (and possibly the breakfast restaurant) felt a little ‘tired’ and arguably clean rather than spotless but nothing dire. Own fridge, it’s in a unit and struggles if the unit door is closed but good enough and complimentary water every day. Breakfast with many options and egg station, really enjoyed it and nice option to sit outside. The pool is great, good size, clean and usually plenty of sunbeds although like everywhere towels on the prime spots very early! Plenty of towels but some of them past their prime! General gripe, lack of info on the resort itself available in the hotel and no one had even a ‘master’ map to show clearly where we were in terms of where the shuttle buses took you (town, nearest beach, better beach, shopping malls, markets). OK, we’ve all got Google but a bit of helpful orientation would help! Fortunately what Reception couldn’t answer a long-stay guest did! On that basis you can walk in less than 10 mins to the nearest beach access, walk down from - say Market Village - for a better strip of sand or we found sunbeds for hire 100 bht a taxi ride away and beach food and beer on hand . For booked taxis download Bolt, efficient and precise, other on-street taxis, tuk tuk seem to have 150bht min or hail a green one that do the rounds for 15bht - bargain if you find one with space. 3 min walk to weekend Tamarind market (lots of cheap street food) nearby Cicada for souvenirs. The big night market is probably a couple of miles up the road, we didn’t make it! Can recommend looking out Nings restaurant - great Thai food. Supermarkets n laundry handy. Booked a couple if day trips via GetYourGuide and Viatour. Despite anything negative above (sorry!) would stay again and hope this helps! Read less

Very impressed with this Hotel, the look cation was good, the hardware was pretty good, the service was great, with a special shout out to Bally and Suppattra at the Hotels loft bar, not only did they make great cocktails at lightening speed, they shared their local knowledge of suggestions for activities to do outside of the Hotel . Only downside it it not actually on the beach front, and as the tide at Hua Hin comes right in, this is a disadvantage, to compensate though they do have a great swimming pool with no shortage of sunbeds, The breakfast was good, wide selection of foods and drinks, plus enough seats and clean tables for everyone. Well done Amari - big effort 🙏🏼 Read less

I am a well traveled person and I write a lot of reviews. These are meant to be a help for management to improve the customer experience. This was our second time at Amari Hua Hin. We had a less good experience the first time but decided to give the hotel a second chance. We corresponded about our bad experience before arrival so that the hotel would have a chance to show a better side. That didn't happen , so now there won't be more attempts here from our side. Check-in took a long time. We were placed in a room that was supposed to face the sea, but also was located right next to the noisy elevator shaft. (we had specifically asked for a quiet room) We had to change rooms but when showing the room the receptionist was anything but helpful and welcoming. She was standing chatting with her friends on messenger in the elevator. (dark long hair in a ponytail and beige dress with a black narrow belt 10 Feb at 13:00) The room on the 5th floor had no view of the sea. even though it is marketed as ”facing the sea.” The room 1515 was old and the bed in the room was worn out. There was also a nasty smelly sewage from the bathroom wells. (The maintenance could not fix it) A poorly cleaned bathroom with black edges and cobwebs with spiders under the furniture in the room. Very responsive. A very small fridge that is in a warm cupboard. If you want the fridge to be cold you have to keep the cupboard open. Pool area with a large pool and many beds even if all beds are made up with towels early in the morning and then not used. Pool open 07-19 and many families with children with the following high noise level. The hotel is a charter hotel from TUI which is good to know! Breakfast adequate but the noise level very high even outdoors (72 decibels) Overall a very mediocre hotel and nothing I would recommend to others who have slightly higher demands on comfort and service level. Works well if you are on a budget, but don't pay extra for the ocean view. You won't see much of it unless you stay on top floor. A bit of false marketing. The rooms with a pool view have sun all day so those rooms must be scorching hot. The rooms facing the mountains face the street and Cicada market so there is a very high noise level. Especially weekends. We reacted to the bad attitude of the pool staff last time and expected a better experience this time, but despite the training that should be given - according to the manager- the service has not improved. No one greets. They almost get angry if you pick up (torn) towels after 18.00 and at closing inappropriate whistles and hand gestures are used, etc. Last of all- WiFi disconnect all the time and coffee capsules cost 50 baht each if you want one extra…. We are not returning for a third visit Read less
