The hotel

Anantara’s latest 5-star edition is located on the fantastic Palm Jumeirah and perfectly combines contemporary Asian flair with world-class facilities on this peaceful part of the palm. Rooms are grouped in private clusters along a series of shimmering lagoons, the only accommodations of this type in Dubai and backed by luscious landscape. Some have direct pool access. One Bedroom Overwater Villas are perched over the beautiful waters of the Arabian Gulf and are the first of their kind in Dubai! They have 1 king-size bed and living area, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.Anantara 2-Bedroom Beach Pool Villa with private pool, master en-suite bedroom with 1 king-size bed, additional twin bedroom and separate living room, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.  

Apartment Residence (North Tower only), 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments are located in the Anantara Residences (North and South Tower), adjacent to the resort, with modern kitchens and spacious interior, leading onto a large balcony spanning the entire width of the apartment offering views of the Arabian Gulf. Apartments have either resort pool and Palm views, or sea and city skyline views, walk-in rain shower. 1 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 2 adults and 2 children/infants (each child in an extra bed or each infant in a baby cot) or 3 adults and 1 child. 2 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 4 adults and 2 children, or 6 adults with 5th and 6th adult extra charge.

The overall property is fantastic, the lagoon, the amin pool and the walk through the alleys within the property. Not to mention the staffs were very nice and prompt at solving minor issues

While I was on a call with a staff member named (Adibayo – from Nigeria), I attempted to make an additional booking for my brother during the same call, however he refused to assist without any clear reason. Moreover, his communication style was highly unprofessional, and his explanations were unclear, making the interaction frustrating and difficult. It escalated further when he told me directly: "If you want to complain, I don’t care, and it makes no difference to me," which is completely unacceptable and reflects a lack of professionalism. This is not the level of service expected from a five-star hotel. The overall experience was very poor and below expectations. We spent one night in the lagoon villa - it's an experience you can't describe, you have to go yourself :). Make sure to book the villa that has direct water access if you enjoy swimming. Especially at night when the lights in the lagoon are on, you will create a memory that you won't forget.
