Rooms: Basically the room was what is needed. We had a king room overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean/ beach. The balcony is a Juliet balcony- meaning not really big enough to stand on though you can lean out onto it to enjoy the view. TV, safe in the closet, hangers and an iron if you want them, plenty of linens. Dresser, desk, nightstands with lamps - standard. The doors don't keep out the hallway noise but they do double lock. Bath isn't big enough for two to be in there at the same time, unless one of you is in the shower but ample enough. Big shower with seat for shaving (or whatever...?). Value: It's a lower rate all-inclusive resort, that met our needs. We had managed to book our vacation less that two weeks before we got there and didn't pay ridiculous money on account of the last minute travel. Cleanliness: Yes! The housekeeping staff came daily to make up the beds and bring fresh towels. The facility was clean- for the most part. (More to come on that in a bit. ) Noise level: OK... well this is where it gets tricky. In the room over the pool, you could hear the music from the shows but not so much that it was disturbing. (More to come on this in a bit. ) Service: Yes! Not ever a problem... (More to come on that in a bit. ) Amenities: Pools, of course, 1 smaller great for sitting in, 1 bigger starts shallow goes to 7.5' and merges into an infinity style pool that has a volleyball net, and then there's also a hot tub... which is randomly nice as the pool water was cooler. The pool bar serves up drinks but not super strong... so ask for Diamond and tell her you heard she makes the drinks stronger than some of the others. The pool grill probably had the BEST food; everything we had was delicious. Try the conch fritters! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner: enough options that you won't go hungry but think of high school cafeteria. Meals kind of on repeat with a few different plates each day. For fresh breakfast food, hit the Griddle- fried eggs and omelets made to order. They always had a rolling toaster- bagels, toast with whatever toppings you might want. Lunch- honestly, we ate most of them at the pool grill... though we did have nachos a couple of days and if you want cold food like salad and dessert, inside is where you need to go. Supper offered a few heavier meals- again cafeteria style meals with one line. Sometimes carved meat- ham, roast beef... etc., but always had great salad makings. Also, there are three restaurants in the resort but they are FCFS... no reservations. Food is good there but we actually liked the grill food the best overall. Now for the "More to come on that in a bit". 1) We ended up with three rooms in five days. We came on the heels of the Spring- Breakers... which is why I think our first room has no TV remote (likely got shoved into someone's suitcase as the packed up all their stuff) and no, we didn't go on vacation to watch TV but it was on with no way to shut it off and since they couldn't find a compatible remote, they moved us. The second room was due to a leak in the bathroom ceiling on our fifth day. They sent people up ASAP for each situation. A+ there. 2) What we thought was adult- only... was for two days. We got there on a Saturday and on Monday the whole resort was basically taken over by about 200+/- kids between the ages of 12-17. Turns out the international high school track meet was that week and several resorts hosted the little minions with some sort of agreement. There were not enough chaperones and the child to adult ratio was way off. I honestly don't think there was a chaperone on our floor and for three nights in our second room we were subjected to raucous and unruly children until after 11 each night... one of those nights another guest stepped into the hall at 1115 and told the kids to settle down and by 1130, I was calling the front desk to complain. Thursday was the night they moved us due to the leak... one floor up and at the very end facing the ocean... no children. But starting that same night, security was at the beginning of each hall. We didn't hear anything at the far end. During the day, the kids were gone so the pool / beach was nice. Morning and evening meals were a challenge but by the second afternoon, the dining room manager had the second line set up for the kids to go to. Some things that nobody could do anything about- the seaweed at the beach and the birds. I'm not a fan of either but the birds were the worst. Along with having to protect our food while eating outside, they were horrible around the outside dining room tables. Not just seagulls but other birds, too. If you didn't clear your own table, the birds did. At the concierge, you can find things to do- snorkeling, boating, day trips... we did the city tour and enjoyed leaning about the area and the history of the islands. Now- did I mention the people? Darwin, one of the lifeguards- older guy and very chill. Diamond, one of the bartenders, mixed a good drink. Emily, "water sports"... but she tended the pool. There were others and everyone was amazing. Mr. Barnett, the dining room manager, was on it! Kept the ball rolling not just in the DR, but also when he heard our plight about the leaky ceiling... he made sure that someone was taking of us. All in all... the people make the resort what it is. It was our first time to the Bahamas and it won't be our last... that being said... we aren't likely to go back. It's "tired" and could really use an update... from the old furniture to the menu to the needed freshening up of the paint. One of the people mentioned even realized that some of the revenues need to be reinvested into the facility. All in all, we had a good time away from home and work, met some great guests, and got way too much sun. Read less

Let me start by saying we travel to a different Caribbean island every 3 months or so. Our original plan was to go to Sint Maarten with my brother-in-law and sister-in- law, but due to her medical condition we canceled and decided to go somewhere for an extended weekend. We did a last-minute quick search and chose Breezes for price, all-inclusive, and availability. We knew Breezes was not going to be the same level of service, 5 stars, as we typically choose but what the heck it's a getaway. The service, the staff, the location, and the evening entertainment was very nice. Here's the negative. Upon arrival we couldn't access our room for 3 hrs and had to change in a bathroom to wait by the pool. Once we accessed our room there was no hot water and we were told they would change our room within an hour. So we went to eat. We tried to go to one of the 2 themed restaurants but had to eat at the buffet because it was full (first come, first served). There's only 1 bar, the pool bar, opened from 10am - 6pm with only well liquor and 1 brand of beer which they ran out of every day by 4. At 6pm a nice little piano bar opened in the building that only had, mid-range call brand. Not much selection. Lastly, there was an ice cream parlor but......YOU HAD TO PAY EXTRA for a scoop. In conclusion they could do better Read less

We stayed at the Breezes for a last minute trip to the Bahamas. This was one of the only affordable places to stay last minute, however it makes sense why this was the case for an all inclusive adult only resort. We fortunately explored out of the resort for the majority of our stay to find Bahamian food, local spots and beaches. The main problems with our stay was the tourists at the resort, outdated areas, room provided, food and beach accommodations. The population was mainly retired adults who had too much to drink, with little manners and appreciation towards staff. The hallways were extremely echoed and loud in the morning, so we heard guests talking from down the hallway from late at night to early in the morning. In addition, our room ended up being two double beds, after requesting a king, which was not ideal for a couples stay for a week. In regard to the food, we had the à la carte, breakfast buffet and beach bar snacks, which were primarily catered towards older retired guests, resulting in long waits to sit down to eat, and limited flavor/seasoned meals (with front row seats to seeing guests lose their manners, over a 10 minute wait). The resort was fairly outdated, with run down billiards tables, limited umbrellas at the beach, areas closed off requiring remodel and a feeling of slight dirtiness. Some things we enjoyed about the resort were the staff. They were extremely helpful, kind, hard working and friendly! It was also easy to get a taxi from the resort to downtown or other beaches to explore around the island. The beach area had a good number of chairs, and was easy to find seating throughout the day, or to get a drink from the beach bar. The location was close to bah mar (another resort), if we needed any other food choices, coffee or shops. Overall, while the staff were amazing, I would not recommended this resort and next time would opt for a more expensive option (if it not inclusive), due to guests, accommodations and food. Read less

We just returned from an amazing week at Breezes Bahamas, and what a fantastic trip it was! The resort was clean, the food was consistently great, and in my opinion, it has one of the best beaches in Nassau—absolutely stunning. Like anywhere, there were a few small things that could be improved, but nothing that took away from what was truly a fabulous experience for all of us. A very special thank you to Darvin Johnson for taking such great care of us poolside. It meant so much to reconnect—you are not only an incredible worker but also so much fun to be around! Huge thanks as well to my friend Larry Hommes for all your help. It was such a joy seeing you again—what a great reunion! Daniel, thank you for your attentive and kind service poolside—you are an absolute sweetheart. The bartenders especially Ricardo and Sulian, restaurant staff especially my friend Margaretta Barr, and housekeeping team were all wonderful, and the entertainment crew—Devon, Shakira, Linden and Geno —kept the energy high and the fun going all week long. And last but certainly not least, a big shoutout to the incredibly talented Funky D and the Summer Breeze Band. Your evening performances were unforgettable—you truly made our nights special! All in all, an incredible vacation filled with great service, great people, and even better memories. Can’t wait to return! Read less

We recently stayed here, our first time in Bahamas. Before we came I researched all the resorts and this one had good reviews so I booked it. Upon staying here for a week I realized those good reviews were wrong. The pictures that are on the website are not current pictures which is false advertising. The beach was beautiful except the seaweed should be raked up daily because it's bad. At check in we weren't given a tour of resort so we had to find things on our own. Menus should be posted outside the specialty restaurants with days and times they are open. The rooms are very outdated no refrigerators or coffee makers in room. The buffet has the same food everyday. When arriving to a table we hardly ever got waited on so we had to get our own drinks. A lot of the staff act very unhappy with their job. Ashley williams at the nighttime buffet was amazing, you need more like her! There was not very much entertainment and when there was it was the same band every night. It would be nice to see shows every night like the Junkanoo night. The piano bar smelled like sewage daily. The resort is suppose to be an adults only but that wasnt true when a large group of kids came from different islands to stay for a track meet. While the kids were there us adult guests were not aloud to play pool or ping pong because they didn't want the kids breaking anything. When speaking to other guests they were very upset and annoyed they spent a lot of money to stay here. I would not stay here again and I can't recommend this resort. Read less
