Hello, My daughter recently experienced one of your college spring break trips through Indiana University. I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent stay at Breezes in Nassau, Bahamas. We chose this all-inclusive resort based on its advertised standards, but the experience was wholly unacceptable due to several serious issues: Health and Safety: The room's door lock was broken, which proved to be both uncomfortable and frightening for the three young women staying in the room. Likewise, the window did not close all the way. So each time it rained, which was every day, water poured into the room. Room Maintenance: The air conditioning was non-functional throughout their stay. Dining Quality: The meals provided were of poor quality and certainly did not meet the "all-inclusive" standard promised. Hot dogs, watery/cold spaghetti and fried chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner are not considered three meals a day. The women did say if they got to the buffet before 8:30, there was some fruit that was not yet spoiled or eaten. Also noteworthy is that the water machine was broken for the duration of their stay. This was alarming for several reasons...dehydration in the warm climate, dehydration when the only other thing to drink is alcohol. Though many students come to solely drink/get drunk, others are trying to maintain balance and sense. Misrepresentation: Though this is an all-inclusive, guests were charged anywhere from $100-$400 to enter a club. If this is going to be the case, please have the common courtesy to share that information on the website. LIkewise, the girls each paid $150. to ride on a boat while being towed on a banana raft, only to be told 10 minutes later that the "boat isn't working." They did not receive a refund. Again, it all seems like a well-orchestrated con job, at the sake of some naive college students This is not our first student to partake in one of these "nonstop parties, epic headliners, live entertainment inclusive resort" trips with STS Travel, but it is surely the most disappointing. It is unfortunate that we trusted both STS Travel and The Breezes Resort to be forthright. We are filing complaints with both corporations in attempts to assure this does not happen to other students and their hardworking parents who are paying for these trips. Read less

My review from March 20-27. Check in once we arrived was quick and helpful. The lady was very friendly and informative, explaining where we could get food and where some areas of the resort were. Once settled and after exploring the grounds, we loved the charm of the resort. It is clean, and staff are very friendly. We were always getting good morning as we walked by, we enjoyed chatting with the staff, always taking their time to listen and answer our questions. I love the smaller resorts and this is now my favourite. Our room. It was an ocean view, and I mean ocean view. We would walk out the door and you were pretty much on the sand, at the ocean. The housekeeping was top notch. Bedding changed daily, she did an amazing job daily cleaning. Food....I don't even know what to say. It was totally amazing. Lots to choose from. We even gained a few pounds from eating so well. Beach. We are beach lovers. Wide, private beach with lots of space - arguably the nicest stretch of Cable beach. We didn't swim much due to the amount of seaweed in the ocean, very wavy. Not anyone faults but Mother Nature. We can't wait to come back next year and see the beach at its calm, perfect nature. Safety....we felt 100 percent safe. During the day we got on the bus 10 or 12B which stops frequently on the main road near the resort and went downtown. The bus was totally safe, and everyone was kind and very talkative. Walking around we felt safe. At night time we would walk next door to the casino and watch the water light show. Would we return. 100 percent, already looking into booking next year. We love this resort, it felt like our home for the week. We are missing all the staff already and the beauty of the resort and its beach. Read less

As I stated in the title, we went to Breezes with an open mind. We read all reviews ahead of time. Wanted to see Bahama beaches and the value for all inclusive was worth trying to us. As many stated rooms are outdated, but housekeeping cleaned daily. Bed was comfy. Everything worked in our room, shower was hot and ac was ok. We booked ocean view and were put on top floor. Our room had a fridge in it which was not expected. View was gorgeous. Food was just ok, we ate one night at Bahamar (not a bad walk) and another at Atlantis. Spent some time at the casino next door, free drinks if your playing and better quality over at Bahamar. Drinks were limited if you wanted something special, but overall what we drank we enjoyed. Coffee was not good, they had it in a machine which comes out like water. During breakfast time they did put out different coffee but still not great. Now let’s talk spring breakers, we knew there would be many, and I have to say they didn’t bother us. It was actually fun watching them enjoy your time! Had conversation we some and learned what school they were from. Yes it’s a loud resort and music is loud throughout the day at the pool but we spent much of our time at the beach. Never had trouble getting drinks, they came to us before the spring breakers. Water is cold in pool, and ocean was also chilly but plenty of people in both. If you wanted to escape the spring breakers, there’s a piano bar that is 25 plus and was enforced while we were there. Spent a lot of our time after dinner there. Suggestion get that bar a fountain system for soda. They use cans and have to keep getting restocked. Couldn’t even get water in there. All staff were friendly never had any issues with unfriendly staff. We tipped all that served us It was appreciated. Overall we had a great time, not sure if we would return. Beach was the highlight! We stayed at The Breezes from 15 March 2026 for 11 nights on an all inclusive basis. On arrival, late at night, after travelling for 19 hours we were met by The Receptionist advising us it was Spring Break and they were going to put us on the 7th floor as it is ‘quieter’. Unbeknown to us this set the scene for the holiday. No porter/concierge service available or no drink on arrival. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily with beds and towels changed daily; most days the maid left towel Sculpture on the bed which was a nice touch. Bed is large and comfortable. The rooms are very dated. Our room and I believe all rooms have a Juliet Balcony which means you cannot sit outside. Our balcony door did not open and even when reported was not fixed for the duration of our stay. Our room door/lock failed on several occasions; when reported to maintenance the issue was fixed very quickly. No fridge or tea And coffee making facilities in the room. We Did ask for tea making but were only given coffee!! All doors are circa 1970s wooden and need to be slammed to close. Behind each door there is a sign which says ‘always double lock your door !!’ (Very unsettling). AC worked well but was very noisy which disturbed our sleep, coupled with slamming doors, spring break revellers and loud rap music until midnight most nights disturbed our sleep. I genuinely feel I need a holiday after this experience. The food in the main is ok however unexciting and always lukewarm. I always opted for an omelette for breakfast as it was freshly made and hot. The beach is very nice but the sun loungers are not as advertised unless you pay through the nose! ($100 per day for a cabana with cushions and butler service). They are very uncomfortable (rock hard to be exact) and lots are broken. The bar is 5-7 deep with Spring Breakers however the bar staff work very hard and do positively attempt to serve all other guests before the Breakers. There is very little to do at this hotel if you are not a spring breaker. The hotel prioritises cruise day trippers over paying guests and we were asked to move to accommodate day trippers. There is security everywhere and police on site at night due to the spring breakers. It’s really an awful environment. The hotel staff told me they are paid £150 dollars to Clear up vomit and that regularly happens even in the pool. Needless To say I only went in the pool (which is always cold) once. The hotel staff are mostly helpful and pleasant but you can see they are run ragged accommodating the relentless onslaught of breakers which just keep coming. Advertised as a non-smoking hotel yet guests vape and smoke everywhere and are NEVER challenged. There are a lot of things I could continue to fairly critique but I think you get this gist. Would I visit again ? Not even if it was free!!!! Read less
