Where is it

On a white sand beach, half way between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, close to attractions such as archeological sites, the world's second largest coral reef, the quaint fishing town of Puerto Morelos and lots of shopping. Transfer time from airport: 25 minutes.

We had our wedding at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Our wedding planner, Michelle, was incredible to work with. She truly took care of everything and made the whole process feel effortless. By the time we arrived, everything was already organized and beautifully set up. The flowers were absolutely stunning and ended up being one of my favourite parts of the entire day. Our photographer, Israel, was also fantastic. He captured the day perfectly and even went the extra mile with additional editing when I requested it, which we really appreciated. Our guests were very impressed with the dinner service and food quality, and they also loved our signature cocktail served during the cocktail hour. It was a great touch that made the evening feel even more personal. One of the highlights of this resort is the variety of wedding venue options. We chose Vista Del Mar, which gave us the perfect beach atmosphere without actually being in the sand—beautiful ocean views with a comfortable, elevated setting. The resort was also perfect for a mixed age group. We had guests ranging from 6 years old to 81 years old, and there was genuinely something for everyone to enjoy, from relaxing areas to more lively entertainment options. It made it easy for all of our family and friends to feel comfortable and included throughout the week. We also stayed in the ocean view swim-out rooms, which were amazing and made the experience feel even more special. Having direct access to the pool with an ocean view was a definite highlight of our stay. Planning everything with Michelle was extremely easy and stress-free. We had a couple of planning meetings over Teams before travelling, and then one final meeting once we arrived. Every detail came together perfectly, and the day ran smoothly without any stress on our end. Overall, it was a beautiful, well-organized wedding in a stunning location, and we wouldn’t change a thing. Read less
