Designed entirely around spacious two-room suites, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Monterey Bay Seaside makes it easy to spread out and settle in. The hotel sits just a couple of blocks from the beach and around two miles north of Downtown Monterey, putting highlights like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and the Steinbeck Museum within easy reach. Venture a little further afield and you’ll find scenic hiking trails, Carmel Valley wineries and relaxing spas, all around a 20-minute drive away. Back at the hotel, the nightly two-hour evening reception with complimentary drinks and snacks is a standout perk, ideal for easing into the evening. Where is it

At Canyon del Rey, Seaside, part of Monterey Bay and just two blocks from the beach. A multitude of bars and restaurants are close by and it's a 10-minute drive to Monterey Wharf and Aquarium.

225 rooms in 1 building. All with air-conditioning, living/dining room with pull-out sleeper sofa and separate bedroom, 2 HDTVs with pay-per-view films, tea/coffee-making facilities, fridge, microwave, safe, iron and ironing board, bathroom amenities, and hairdryer.

2-Room Suites have a separate living room, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 people. These can be booked with a variety of views.

Worst road noise I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Don’t stay here. Got NO sleep. Awful. I would give it a zero if I could.

We had a king suite from the 30th to the 31 st of December, we arrived pretty easily, were given our room key and information on our stay. Complimentary manager reception from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, we went around 6pm, enjoyed free drinks but as for food, a trail mix bowl, a pretzel one, an completely empty chips one, and for the small veggie tray… Read more

Fitness room is pretty small. The pool was nice but overcrowded with kids splashing everyone and canonballing, I couldn't even swim from one side to the other. Breakfast was nice, I like that it's until 10am. The main negative thing is that | was charged 20$ for parking, and the receptionist never told me about it. If I had known I would have parked elsewhere. What kind of hotel placed in the middle of traffic, beaches and restaurants makes you pay for overnight parking?? Read less
