We’ve decided to extend our stay for two more nights, and the service has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Kent at the reception made our check-in seamless—his warmth, efficiency, and attentiveness set the perfect tone for our stay. And as for breakfast—what a delight! Chef Kamal Adin went above and beyond. Not only did he offer a diverse, flavorful spread, but he was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had exactly what we wanted. Not to forget Ganesh who did an amazing coffee for us. This is a place we will definitely return to, thanks to these exceptional team members! Read less

Absolutely terrible experience. I booked this hotel a few weeks ago through Booking, and there was no option to select free cancellation even with extra fee so I had no choice but to go ahead with a non refundable booking. Unfortunately, today (the day of my stay), I got very sick and couldn’t make the trip to Ras Al Khaimah, which is a 2-hour drive. I politely reached out to the hotel explaining my situation and asked if they could make an exception and allow a free cancellation due to the circumstances. Their response? A flat refusal. They insisted on a medical certificate, even though I’m clearly unwell at home and didn’t go to the hospital. No understanding, no flexibility just rigid policies and zero empathy. It’s extremely disappointing to see a business care so little about genuine emergencies and only focus on money. Situations like this are beyond a guest’s control, and a little compassion would go a long way. Definitely NOT recommended. I will never book with them again. Read less

We recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, and overall, the experience was generally good—but there are a few important things future guests should know. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel itself is lively, especially for families. Breakfast was okay—there’s a wide selection available, though the quality is fairly average. One thing that really needs improvement is how room views are communicated. If you book through platforms like Booking.com or even the hotel’s website, it does not clearly specify that there are two very different views: island view and sea view. This can significantly impact your stay. We were initially assigned an island view room, which unfortunately faces a construction site. The constant noise was quite disturbing. When I called reception in the evening to request a change, the staff member informed me that this was the room we booked and that there was no option to move. I explained that my concern was not the view itself, but the noise, and also pointed out that the booking platform does not provide an option to choose the room side—which feels quite misleading. Eventually, we managed the situation, but it did affect our comfort. Also, note that the hotel is very family-oriented. The pool area is usually full of children, so if you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, the beach is a much better option. Tip: Call the hotel directly after booking to specifically request a sea view room to avoid the construction noise. Overall, a decent stay—but better transparency and flexibility from the hotel would make a big difference. Read less
