Hawksbill was the best, most relaxing vacation we have ever taken as a couple. We were there in June 2025 to celebrate our anniversary and we loved it. We were a bit surprised and thrilled to find the resort not completely booked up. We never felt like there were that many people around which was great. Overall, the grounds are beautiful, the food was fine, the bugs were minimal, and the beaches were amazing. The crowd seemed to be a pretty even mix of visitors from the UK and US. The only issues we encountered were the WiFi signal not working very well in our beachfront bungalow on Sea Grapes and the power going out for a few hours three different times. My wife doesn’t usually like to revisit anywhere we have already been in favor of seeing new places, but she said she would love to go back to Hawksbill. We walked over to the Royal Palm beach twice and there were no people there either time. None. The water there is full of rocks so you couldn’t really get in. Our first day we hopped into the pool for a few minutes but that was the extent of our using it. We preferred the beach and the almond tree shade. Honeymoon Cove was almost always empty too. We spent at least part of each day, with maybe the exception of one, enjoying the water and sun naked at the nude beach (Eden). It was never crowded and there was only the occasional visitor that decided to stay dressed, which wasn’t a big deal. I doubt that there was ever more than a dozen people (and a dozen pigs) on the half mile beach at one time. You owe it to yourself if you are even the slightest bit curious to head over there, strip down, and enjoy the sun for at least an hour. If you want to give it a fair shot, try it out twice. You may surprise yourself and end up walking the full length of the beach totally naked without a care in the world. There are places to swim at Eden but the easiest access is definitely where the beach starts near the gate. Pro tip: fill up your room’s ice bucket with ice and take that to Eden to stay cool. There were plenty of lounge chairs for all. Our room was a beach front bungalow on Sea Grapes and it could not have been a better location. We were far enough from the restaurant to not be affected by any foot traffic but not too far. The ducks were a welcome surprise as they walked the beach or would take a nap under your chair while you soaked up the sun. The waves were crashing only about 25 meters from the patio and the almond trees provided great shade. Sea Grapes is easily swimmable and not rocky at all. The room is nothing fancy but has everything you need. No TV but that wasn’t a problem. The outdoor shower was a great. The entertainment was not so great with the exception of the fire dancer/limbo guy. He was really fun to watch. After 10pm it is quiet so no worries about loud music keeping you awake. Hawksbill burger at the Windjammer was our go to lunch option more times than I care to admit. The really wasn’t a dress code for dinner. Don’t stress about that. Casual date vibes is how I would describe it. We will be back. Read less

We stayed all inclusive and drinks were not stop flowing. The waitresses were so attentive and kind, particularly Dalston who always had a smile on his face. We stayed in a garden view bungalow, although the decoration was in need of updating, the resort has a very eco tourist vibe with a side of luxury should you require it. Debbie in reception was very helpful and also the BA rep Kerry, anything needed or problems were swiftly dealt with, and always with a smile. 5 things necessary to bring with you if visiting Antigua; a torch, poncho, umbrella, metal container for water and most importantly purchase an eSIM before you leave your own country, we used Holafly and had no problems. Trips around the Island are well worth a visit and this can be provided in house or by a local taxi firm for about $140 US. Would we return? Absolutely ⭐️🇦🇬🌺 Read less

Hawksbill Resort is either a 3 star or a 5 star resort, it depends what you are looking for. For us we wanted a quiet small hotel in an amazing location - Hawksbill delivered! But if you're looking for more 'action' or wanting all the extras that 5 star gives you then this isn't the place for you. The rooms do need an upgrade, the choice of food & drinks is a little limited & in the bathroom you get shower gel, conditioner & soap, nothing else. The resort wasn't full and of course September isn't high season. I wouldn't want to go when the resort is full and pay the high season price. But I would definitely go again at this time. Hawksbill was ideal for us, we will be back. Beautiful place & a beautiful island. Read less

We would stay at Hawksbill again. The resort was super quiet and the staff were wonderful. We enjoyed our Bungalow that opened up to the private beach.
