People were great, views were spectacular. Nice small quiet resort. The gardens, the beaches were exactly what we needed for a get away. Rooms were a bit rustic, but service and everything else was perfect.

We arrived home on Monday after our second two week stay at Hawksbill and it was even better than last time! Lovely sparkling wine and hot towel on arrival. We arrived home on Monday after our second two week stay at Hawksbill and it was even better than last time! Lovely sparkling wine and hot towel on arrival. It was nice to see more local dishes on the menu and Hubby loved the addition of curry goat, pepperpot and the return of the spicy beef and roast beef with Yorkshire puddings on a Sunday. Breakfast was great with freshly made fried, poached eggs or omlettes with a really nice addition of eggs benedict not something usually seen at all inclusives. We could see some improvement have been made on the resort and know it will only get better. The staff were so accommodating for us always with a smile and laughs. We stayed in a superior sea view room again and this is perfectly placed so not too far to walk for lunch or drinks. The hotel grounds and four beaches are amazing and kept neat and well cared for. We will definitely be back for another relaxing stay. Thank you to each and every member of the team who make this a hotel we want to go back to. A tip take strong mosquito spray as even though the hotel does what it can they are particularly nasty here. Read less

I absolutely loved my stay here and would love to go back. Johnte made sure I enjoyed my trip 10000% I truly appreciate him. Kadeem made sure I did not have to struggle with my luggage and that we were properly greeted when we arrived at the resort.

The special restaurant is nothing special (long service times, food not that great, and they didn't tell you that you had limited access to it....). The staff was very uneven. Some nice, helpful and pleasant. Some downright surly. What I was surprised at is that the higher level staff were actually the least helpful and equipped with an attitude. We aren't demanding people but I just couldn't understand how these folks haven't figured out that tourism is their industry and they need to do it exceptionally. The other thing that bothered us was the lack of information and how the staff would get flustered when you asked questions. They don't understand that a tourist showing up at the property for the first time is clueless as to how things are done, where things are located, what services are available, etc. They don't put themselves in the shoes of the guest. Anyway - the property is nice. Beaches are nice, But it is an all-inclusive and it seems that by definition, good service is not implicit. Read less

My husband and I returned 3 days ago from a week long honeymoon to Hawksbill. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. "A bungalow on the beach ". We loved that it is smaller than a lot of resorts. The bungalow might not be what everyone is looking for as it was very simple. No TV or microwave. Very basic, but we loved it. Shower was great as it had a screened in window. You could hear the waves while showering. The landscape at the resort is gorgeous. A lot of nature vs being built up if that makes sense. Authentic. There are 3 restaurant options. The schedule and how they each worked took us a couple of days to get right, but we got it down. Open air restaurants with views of the water. Food was pretty good. It all tasted just a little different, but not necessarily in a bad way. Much healthier than what I eat at home. Lol. There is a lot of walking between bungalows, rooms, restaurants etc and steps. So something to consider. We enjoyed the availability to kayak, snorkel, swim etc for free right at the resort. We had a couples hot stone hour long massages. It was amazing! Highly recommended. (Thank you Nadine and Jeffina!). I was concerned about getting bit badly, but they had pest control handled and handled well. I maybe got bit twice the entire time. We did have an incident with our toilet the 1st full day we were there. But we were taken care of during that time and the issue was fixed the following day. If you are looking for somewhere quiet. Intimate, simple, with breath taking views...I highly recommend Hawksbill Resort. If you want high-end furnishings, amenities, high-end luxury with more a of lively party type scene, this may not be for you. It was perfect for us. Special shout outs to Colette (spell?), David (bartender), Pamella (gift shop), Dawn (housekeeper), Johnte and Brad (Pitt lol) and Andrew our taxi guy. Denise (front desk) All of you and many more helped make our honeymoon magical. Thank you! ~The Larimore's~ Read less
