Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Daytona Beach, Gold Coast Beaches

Star rating

The hotel

The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

Stacy at the front desk was AMAZING. She was super sweet and very easy to deal with! She even gave me a charger when I was in a bind and really needed one. I highly recommend this hotel!!

We would have liked to have had a Balcony and a Walk-in Shower and found out we could have got either, but not both. However, we were told they had a new owner and were going to be remodeling and upgrading soon. Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations. Read less

Hard to explain awful from beginning to end. Only bright star was Marcel at the front desk. Class employee but it goes down from there. Hard to explain awful from beginning to end. Only bright star was Marcel at the front desk. Class employee but it goes down from there. Hotel is old, in disrepair, rooms are dark, and what you might expect at a lower price motel. The bathtub in our room did not work, and once the water was on to fill the tub, it would not turn off. Imagine how much fun that was. The hotel operator hung up on me twice - I had to go out in the hall and other guests tried to help me by calling. Finally. I had to go to the front desk and request help and a maintence man arrived almost 10 minutes later. The elevators were a nightmare - only 2 of 4 worked. Just a kind word, if you are claustrophobic do not stay here. The hotel operator should be fired - she is rude, unprofessional, and if there are more than one, all should be fired with no questions asked. Try to get a bellman by calling from your room! Valet $50 day is steep but there really isn't a choice. The beach access was closed. Let's talk food -- subpar. Not even average. I could continue but I am sure you get the point. Shame on Hilton. I had a wonderful experience but I came here to wrote that the valet, Michael, was extremely helpful gave me clear directions to self parking, and when I came back down for a reception again gave me clear direction on how to get to the peir. He is a wonderful representative of the hotel asthe first person most people interaction with.
