Nice hotel staff fantastic we are currently still at the hotel, but it’s a British airways crew hotel , crew shouting to each other screaming and swearing , there are family’s with children around it’s ok morning into early afternoon then the volume increases with the intake of alcohol, they act like there on 18-30s holiday. All inclusive they’re on the drink all day, wife complained twice once about loud music at 3am and once about the unacceptable behaviour around children, nothing really changed , whoever at British airways thought it was a good idea to send crew to an all inclusive booze fest where young families are staying needs there head examining, I will be contacting the hotel manager and British airways privately for there views Read less

My wife and I spent 9 days here. We’ve been lucky enough to visit the Maldives a number of times before and this resort was very different. Being a family resort, it can be much busier and noisier with the youngsters around, especially at mealtimes. The down sides first. We stayed in a water bungalow. While it was nice, it was quite small and fairly basic with a small balcony overlooking the sea. Not the best but still nice. The cocktail choices were very limited and weren’t the best. They seemed very sugary and tasted quite cheap. They certainly weren’t bad but you could they just seemed mass produced. They were however, still very generous with the alcohol portions!! The bar staff, while friendly, always appeared to be overworked and it all seemed a bit rushed. There was no drink service around the pool or on the beach. While this may sound a bit petty, those who have done the Maldives before will notice this is lacking here. Feeding time felt exactly like that. Unless you were paying to go elsewhere, all meals were at the buffet restaurant and it was always busy and noisy. It was also serve service for all your drinks. Never seemed truly relaxing. However…… the food was absolutely spot on. There was always a Maldivian and Indonesian food station which did some exceptional curries and traditional dishes. This itself, made feeding time a great experience. The up sides continue. The beach never appeared to be busy. The (massive) pool never appeared to have loads of people in it and there was never a battle for loungers. The evening entertainment, while a bit basic, did keep us entertained for a while. As with every other person I have ever met who works in the Maldives, the staff were really lovely and polite and couldn’t help enough. These people make the resort such a nice place to be and for that reason alone, I would recommend considering this resort. I don’t believe this is a true, traditional Maldivian resort but it is still a lovely place to sit in the sun and relax Read less
