A laid back adults-only resort, the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa is in a beautiful location, overlooking a wonderful stretch of sandy beach. Where is it

In Poste Lafayette, on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius, overlooking a fabulous white sand beach and unspoilt turquoise lagoon. The hotel is just 10 minutes from Bras D’Eau National Park, 10 minutes from sister hotel Radisson Blu Azuri and 25 minutes drive from Grand Bay. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

100 rooms fully renovated in 2025. All with air conditioning, TV, complimentary WiFi, docking station, hairdryer, mini-bar* (included and daily replenished if booking All inclusive), safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, Nespresso machine* and shower room. Superior Rooms have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive option: includes buffet breakfast at Nautilus Restaurant. Buffet lunch at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant. Buffet dinner at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant. Sandwiches from noon to 5.00pm. Afternoon tea. A selection of wines and drinks during lunch and dinner and a selection of drinks at Aqua Bar until 11.00pm, including imported brands. Pool and beach service* (selected items). Mini-bar (including beer, fruit juice, soft drinks and water (replenished once a day). Picnic baskets on request. Complimentary land and water sports (tennis balls*). Signature resort activities, including traditional line fishing, sega classes, cocktail classes and guided tour to Folkloric Flacq Market.


Please note: All-Inclusive is available from your time of arrival at the hotel until your time of departure, regardless of check-in/check-out time. Superior Mountain View Rooms with Juliette balcony are located on the opposite side of the road offering beautiful mountain views and have 1 king-sized bed, sleeping 2 adults. 

Superior Garden Rooms are set in the main building with either terrace or Juliette balcony, and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Superior Ocean Rooms face the Indian Ocean with a Juliette balcony, and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Superior Beachfront Access Rooms are on the ground level with a private terrace and direct beach access and come with one complimentary green fee per stay at The Nine Azuri Golf. They have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Superior Beachfront Rooms are on the first floor and offer a beautiful view of the preserved coast of Poste Lafayette from a Juliette balcony and come with one complimentary green fee per stay at The Nine Azuri Golf. They have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Nautilus (buffet restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Aqua Beach Restaurant (bistro-style, open for lunch and dinner), Rooftop Tapas and Bar, Aqua Beach Bar (all-day drinks and afternoon tea).

Our stay at Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa was, overall, disappointing and did not meet expectations. The rooms are rather small, but clean. Housekeeping was one of the stronger aspects of the stay, and I would rate cleanliness 9/10. The location, however, is a significant downside. The hotel is quite isolated, but not in a way that feels exclusive or peaceful. Instead, it feels disconnected, with no nearby shops or activities. The area is not particularly tourist-friendly, and most of the island’s main attractions, especially in the south, are about a 1 hour and 45-minute drive away. The food experience was average (6/10). While there was a reasonable variety of dishes, including different types of meat and sides, some items did not seem fresh. Unfortunately, there were also some concerning issues: I observed a flour beetle (Tribolium spp.) moving around in the bread section, and one of the tarts had a noticeable mothball-like taste. This raises concerns about food storage practices, which clearly require more careful attention. Overall, the hotel appears much more impressive in online images than it does in reality. The experience did not live up to expectations and left us feeling disappointed. Read less

We just came back from Mauritius and I can tell that we had a great holiday at Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa. After a very long travel we arrived at the hotel and Jenishta took care of us. In less than 10 minutes we were checked in our room, very nice, clean and modern, by the way. In the same evening, we experienced an Easter Buffet what exceeded our expectations: not only very good taste, but at the same time with many Easter decorations, Easter egg and bunnies shaped cookies and appetizers, congratulations to the chefs and their team, I couldn't have done this at home. Very tasty cocktails. Krishna took care of us at the Aqua beach bar, but we send our thanks to the bar tender who made the drinks by the book, with rom and all the others. Not everywhere the cocktails are that good as here. Also, we learned how to make a cocktail thanks to the entertaining team. Watch the entertaining schedule every morning, there are a lot of events. Location: for us it was perfect. Far from any noise and near the place where we could do snorkeling. Don’t forget to bring your equipment, at least some swimming glasses in order to be able to see underwater. There are a lot of fish species. You could see turtles also if you are lucky. The services are five star and more. All the team is ready to fulfill your wishes, answer your questions and thank you for that. Daniela managed to upgrade our room, without any extra charge, thank you for this opportunity. They offer some taxi services. Don’t think they are expensive, just ask how much they cost, you could be surprised that you cand afford them. You can go to the other hotel, Radisson Blu Azuri Resort, for free with the hotel's shuttle. It was nice to change the scenery at some time. Just in front of the hotel there is a small botanical garden. In the night we experienced and enjoyed some sounds like in the jungle, made by some exotic birds, totally new for us.
