Nicole's* (fine dining à la carte offering Caribbean-fusion cuisine, open for dinner - surcharge applies, subject to change). Portofino’s (Italian themed setting and Michelin three star inspired menu). Sails & Tails (bar/grill, seafood restaurant). The Beach Grill (casual beachfront dining). Papa Rico’s Pizzeria. Café 17 61° (coffee shop, afternoon tea). Bars: Lazy Pelican Bar (beach bar located on the water sports beach), Pool Bar, The Wavy Wicket Pub.

Dine-around privileges, allowing guests to explore the culinary and entertainment offerings of sister resorts, Pineapple Beach Club and St. James's Club & Villas at no extra charge.

Please note: reservations are required for dinner at Portofino’s and Nicole's restaurants. Restaurants are open on a rotation basis due to season/occupancy.

Low key entertainment on selected evenings. Themed BBQ nights. Weekly manager's cocktail party on Tuesdays. The Wavy Wicket, a brand-new sports-themed bar.

Non-motorised water sports including kayaking, pedalos, Hobie Cat sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and snorkelling. 2 tennis courts (lit for night time tennis). Beach activities including volleyball. Yoga and aqua aerobics classes. Nature walks. 18-hole mini-golf. Pickleball courts.

This hotel has a resort fee of USD $24 including tax per room, per night, (payable locally, subject to change). Please note: a room levy of USD $5 per guest, per night applies to all guests (payable locally, subject to change).

Dress code: day time – in the restaurants, shoes are worn and bathing suits are covered and dry. Evening time (after 6:30pm) — the following applies to Seabreeze, Nicole’s and Buccaneers’ restaurants plus Manager cocktail parties. Resort Island Casual — long trousers, stylish jeans, dresses, skirts and dress shorts are permitted. Dress shoes and dress sandals are allowed (no flip flops or tennis shoes in the evening). Short or long-sleeved collared shirts (no T-shirts or tank top/sleeveless shirts).

Please note: guests are required to present a valid form of ID (passport, driving license, ID card) along with a valid credit card at check-in. A USD$350 pre-authorisation will be processed on the credit card at check-in to cover for any incidental purchases or similar expenses. Incidental purchases may include tours, excursions, gift shop purchases or dining in the speciality restaurant. We understand that not all guests incur additional charges during their stay, but this process assists the resort with fraud prevention. Upon check-out, the pre-authorisation is released, assuming there are no charges made.

Resort is in a great location and very scenic 2 beaches 1 good one not so (smelly with sewage) a couple of nice pools ,rooms were great very spacious,it's very hilly although to do supply a golf buggy service to get around we went during low season the food was not so good at the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet was closed so we had a choice of 3 resturants with only 2 open at any one time and over the 11 days the menu did not change so in effect we had the same menu every 3 days and if theres not a great deal on there that you like it then became repetative.one resturant Nicoles we were told they removed the surcharge of $50 and we could eat there but the menu was totally different from the charged menu they normally use one evening we were in there 2 hours and was still waiting for our deserts I walked out in the end ,the BBQ beach party food was awful and nothing you would expect from a bbq no jerk chicken, no goat curry, no ribs, staff at all eateries would take orders for drinks etc then go of and do other things and you could wait 20 mins for a drink,entertainment more or less non existant. on the plus side the coffee shop was great good selection of coffee's cakes rolls etc and the staff were always polite and helpful so thumbs up to the 3 ladies who worked in there.the pizza's were also good The day before we left we were offered via letter on our door to keep the room on for $75 so we asked for this first thing in the morning to be told no they want the room for arrivals not great customer service there and the resort does not really warrant the $24 a day resort fee (cant see what it's for) we have been to a few elite hotels over time but not so sure we will return Read less

The breathtaking view from our room instantly set the tone for a memorable stay, and the thoughtful birthday decorations for my friend made it even more special. At the front desk, we were warmly greeted by D’journae, whose pleasant personality made us feel right at home. She even sang “Happy Birthday” to my friend, which was such a sweet and personal touch. Tristan escorted us to our room and impressed us with his friendly demeanor and informative tour of the resort. Dining was truly a highlight of our stay. At Sails and Tails, Egbert treated us like family with his warmth and hospitality. Theodore, our waiter at breakfast, absolutely stood out he was efficient, caring, and always made sure we were well taken care of. His energy and speed were incredible; it felt like he could turn the entire restaurant around in the blink of an eye. A special mention goes to Annette in the coffee shop , who made the best iced coffee with such politeness and care. I also couldn’t get enough of the cheesecake and beef patties both were delicious! For my friend’s birthday dinner at Nicole’s restaurant , Miss Lucy went above and beyond to ensure our table was beautifully decorated, making the celebration seamless and memorable. The service was impeccable, and the lobster and crème brûlée were outstanding. Over at Portofino, the lasagna was so authentic, it felt like dining in Italy. I can’t forget the Beach Grill the ribs were absolutely unforgettable tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone. It quickly became our favorite lunch spot every day. Throughout our stay, the resort was spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff’s warmth and attention to detail truly elevated our experience. I had such a wonderful time that I was genuinely sad to leave. Verandah Beach Resort Antigua gave us memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t wait to return! Read less

There are far too many to mention but for us Rohan was a born entertainer and worked so hard to make everyone's day enjoyable. Nicole p at portofino, who was so polite and lovely along with Karel who will go far! For us the star of our holiday was Theodore. The food was terrific, we tried every restaurant, participated in the daily activities, the pools, cabanas, and grounds are so well maintained! Schedule an excursion with Marvin on the beach, we did a tour of the island and Odane shared the rich history of the many villages. What sets this resort apart, though, is the incredible staff. Every team member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful… too many positive interactions to name them all. We’d like to give a special shoutout to the amazing Rohan, who consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from dancing, pool volleyball, party hosting and so much more. A born entertainer! A big thank you as well to Leslieanne, who was kind, fun, and an absolute joy to be around. She made us feel at home from day one and made sure that we were never bored - she was a superstar. Nneka from guest services was also outstanding — incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to organise our excursions, as well as organising things like pick ups to and from reception without us even having to ask.
