Spent two weeks at this resort. Greeted with a rum punch and then taken to our cottage with its own splash pool and the most amazing view. The food here was amazing - beautifully presented and great choice of dishes. In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner the bar near the beach does paninis from 11am and the bar by the restaurant does light bites from 3pm. There is a coffee shop on site but also you can order coffee via QR code that’s delivered to you in the morning. It’s an adult only resort and popular with honeymooners. Two generous sized affinity pools and staff on hand to take drinks orders. Pretty little beach and the sea is stunning - so clear and we did a lot of snorkelling because there was so much to see. Kayaking and paddle boarding also available.Staff are friendly and majority welcoming. Our cottage was air conditioned, plus ceiling fan, doors in shower opened out on to veranda as well as the double doors in the bedroom - plenty of privacy. Sat in the splash pool watching pelicans diving into the sea and humming birds feeding on the beautiful flowers around us. We had a cabana on our last night and it had a perfect sunset view - accompanied with champagne and tapas; amazing experience because the sunsets are stunning. Two tiny little negatives 1) WiFi drops a lot 2) requested an espresso martini one day - barman said it would take too long and go and get my own coffee or just wait. When my partner turned up (10 mins later) barman came over and apologised - to him! Next night glamorous young woman at dinner requested same cocktail and over he came with it. Sexist? Ageist? It was disappointing. However he really was a one off because the rest of the staff were amazing. Something to know flying into Antigua- you have to complete some sort of status thing when you land. If the airline doesn’t provide you with form to do this then there is a QR code to do it when you get there. However, everyone is also doing this so gets packed in arrivals hall, the wifi is weak and you need it to access the form and keep the code you are then assigned because you need to show at security and when you leave the country.
