We had a beach front room offering sea views, well supposedly. Ill come to that. We had a beach front room offering sea views, well supposedly. Ill come to that. Every morning at between 05:30 and 06:30 a tractor would race up and down the section of the beach nearest our room raking the sand I assume. (the rooms have no glass windows, just wooden slatted shutters and mosquito nets). Then at around 06:30/07:00 a member of staff would erect fold up tables for the craft market. By now we are wide awake (its supposed to be a relaxing holiday). Theses craft stalls were set up directly in my sight line to the "wonderful view". The restaurants were quite good but the "Feathers" a la carte offering is very 70's and on our first visit the food was cold and tasteless, they invited us back and that visit was 100% better. The wine list is poor, looks great but they never had any Rose despite offering a choice of 3. The beach bars are okay although require managing to stop the young lads working there (nearest to Patois Patio) being drunk & high playing their own music ( foul mouthed rap) at full volume and then having to shout to be heard. The watersports are included which is nice. Overall, despite a few niggly issue the place is beautiful ( not 5 star as UK visitors would expect), sunbeds are still being reserved at the crack of dawn but we always found some. I would visit here again now we are in the know. Read less

The food in the buffet should be better. The fruit was not good at all. The desserts were tasteless. A beautiful, dance floor and no music to dance to. The room was beautiful. staff was friendly and on point.. OK that’s enough. The beach is beautiful with plenty of seating . Great water sports were included.

Just returned from Couples Swept Away Negril.. Beautiful location on 7mile Beach .. last minute booking as we were meant to go to Dubai .. we didn’t have a choice of rooms .. The only ones available were the Garden rooms which are at the back of the hotel near the road .. The room was large and spacious.. good size bathroom and a nice veranda . Yes you can hear the traffic but it wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews stated .. We slept perfectly well .. Staff very friendly and helpful .. buffet bar .. Cean ,Christy,Shadae Beach bar .. Jordan, Hakeem Coffee shop .. Kade lots of activities to do throughout the day .. also the sports complex is just a short walk over the road .. spa is also there .. They have sky sports there so you can watch Football matches and Formula one races if you choose too .. Feathers Restaurant is very good.. highly recommended.. The Buffett Restaurant is a bit hit and miss .. some days lots of choice of food.. Others not so much .. but saying that.. all the food is cooked well and nicely presented.. Desserts are the same every day.. but once again perfectly fine .. Sunbed situation on the beach is not good .. while there are lots of beds .. if you want an umbrella with your beds .. you have to get down the beach at 4:30 am !!! Beds and brollys around the pools are easier to get .. The hotel runs a coach to Ricks bar .. well worth a visit .. you get around two and a half hours there .. before they pick you up .. but obviously if you got a taxi there yourself you can stay as long as you wish .. Would I go back .. yes I would .. Read less

Everything was great the food and booze. Adrea Bruce was great at helping us get everything set up before arrival. We stayed on the 3rd floor was a little bit of a hike at the end of the, but the view was amazing. Would be great if there was jerk chicken on the buffet.

We had a lovely stay for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was the best holiday we have had in a while . We were due to go back to the Maldives for our big anniversary but unfortunately due to the Middle East we were unable to fly so had to change our destination. Jamaica was wonderful and I completely fell in love straight away . The beach is stunning , I still Got to see my turquoise ocean. We had the perfect room opposite the jacuzzi in the gardens with a peak of the beach and loved it , we have already said whilst there we would come back and ask for the same room . Food was lovely and tried everything . The great thing about these resorts are the extra details , premium drinks, room service, flag service , the staff are really attentive, not to mention the trips included these were outstanding especially the catamaran trip it was so romantic which tied in with why we were away in the first place . The little touches included mean so much I’ve never been anywhere else that offer , trips, snorkelling, mini bar with premium drinks top ups, maid service every day plus turn down, breakfast in your room if on a trip, even scuba diving and so much more. We need to return as didn’t get to do the other activities such as yoga or cooking class , golf and again so much more as we were just so happy with everything and relaxed . We got to see our ocean friends of which we may have not in the Maldives , a resident ray, turtle, starfish, wild dolphins which made our anniversary even more special we even saw a rainbow so for us Jamaica was meant to be . Thank you for a wonderful holiday we will return xx Read less
