I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel, which we specifically chose because it was advertised as a couples resort with a clear focus on romance, tranquility, and an intimate atmosphere. As honeymooners, this was particularly important to us. However, during our stay, the presence of a large school group consisting of approximately 45 teachers celebrating a 150-year anniversary, along with several other groups, significantly disrupted the romantic and serene environment we expected. The atmosphere felt more like that of a general group resort rather than a dedicated couples-focused property. Given the volume and nature of these groups, it was difficult to create or experience any sense of romance within the hotel grounds. In fact, we found that the only way to enjoy romantic time together was to leave the hotel entirely, which defeats the purpose of choosing a couples resort. Based on our experience, we feel that the hotel did not fulfil the ethos it advertises. The presence of large non-couples groups is fundamentally at odds with the romantic and intimate environment your brand promotes. We kindly request that you review how the property is marketed and how group bookings are managed, to ensure that future couples—especially those celebrating significant occasions—are not similarly disappointed. I look forward to your response and to understanding what steps will be taken to address this matter. Read less

Not enough shade around the pool or on the beach but they're going to sort that out. Quiet for us as whe are used to Rui (we were meant to be in Rui Palace Mauritius). We like white parties and foam parties, pool water balloon parties etc. Staff so friendly and a credit. Daytime entertainment lacking but like I said we're used to Riu. Tip for you, we didn't need the fridge filled with cranberry and ginger beer everyday as seems the the standard, we repeatedly asked for just 4 beers, 2 tonics and a pop but we never got it and had to request extra beer and for tonic which wasn't on the fridge list. However all that said we had a great time. If you sort the shade and daily entertainment out we'll be back x Read less

We first came to CTI in 2014 after staying at CSS a many times, must say CTI has become our favourite Couples resort. Majority of staff are really lovely, genuinely welcoming and hard working, over the years many have become good friends, they really do make this place special. ❤️ In our opinion CTI also has the best restaurants/food options, Eight Rivers fine dining, Verandah for Caribbean food, Bayside for Asian inspired dishes, Pool grill for fast food, Patio for buffet food, and a daytime Veggie bar, all the chefs do a pretty good too 😋 Also a good variety of local and international drinks👌🥂🍸🍹 Nightly entertainment if you choose. Its proper beach front hotel setting, remember it was originally built in 1949, its still got some of that old-world Caribbean charm. Its easy to get around the resort as mostly on the flat with lifts to each floor. 2 decent size pools, one has a pool bar. 2 jacuzzi. Smallish private beach. Some rooms are a little tied but still comfortable. Block 4 has had some new furniture and mood lighting upgrading which makes it feel more modern with USB and other charging sockets built-in. Our room was very clean and comfortable with fantastic views. Bathroom is small but everything worked well with good lighting and plenty of hot water, and a good magnifying mirror. We never had any issues getting sunbeds at anytime of day, not much shade though, but we did have a welcoming refreshing ocean breeze that kept us comfortable. Grounds are well kept, we had some lovely massages at the lovely spa too. Yes its a 90-120 minute ride from airport but well worth it, of course we will return. Its a great place to relax unwind and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer 😊 They have so many repeat visitors that all agree that this place is great! 🥰 Read less

From day one check in and Romance desk were both unwelcoming and fairly uninterested on us on checking in . Lift to our room tired and looked grubby . Our room was clean but dated one sink and our aircon that was noisy and stopped on and off all night which woke us up . I had emailed the hotel Prior to arrival we had no reply but had the view of the island we requested. Most main rooms smell musky or damp not nice . Tower island beach pool etc is incredibly windy and had limited shade in order to get shade one had virtually sit on top of one another down the end of the beach where there are some trees everyone will crammed in together like sardines. Food limited buffet options in the restaurant seemed to be the same thing for the four days that we stayed there Lunch time . We did have something in the restaurant near the swimming pool and I must admit that was quite tasty one day consisted of fast food. Again gained limited choice of an evening meal at the buffet. We did enjoy the Bayside restaurant which was Asian, but again staff were incredibly rude to my polite inquiry as to whether we could sit near the water. Staff and now this is where they let the hotel down really rude bored was one of the examples are that the waitress told me she was bored fed up at Working there but do I really want to be told this by waitress when I’m on my holiday? . My husband had hot coffee dropped on his shorts so there was no apology and also a cup was smashed right next to him again nobody checked he wasn’t hit or anything no apology was made to him . Lots of dirty cups plates left on the beach all day and communal areas not cleaned of sand . Evening entertainment the main show an hour only then the piano Bar singing karaoke it’s not really my idea of an evening entertainment every night . Read less

I’m not sure how couples tower aisle resort was able to be better than last year, but it was! Everyone, from the front desk personnel to those working behind the scenes such as the cooks, grounds maintenance, housekeepers deserve a big thank you as you truly made our visit enjoyable. I'm not sure how Couples Tower Isle resort was able to be even better than our visit last year, but it was! Everyone, from the front desk personnel to those working behind the scenes such as the cooks, grounds maintenance, housekeepers deserve a big thank you as you truly made our visit enjoyable. Even our bellman who helped us last year remembered us! We did not believe it at first, but then he pointed out the fact that we had an additional bag this year and he was right. A few names I remember are Yashema, Kadelia, Germaine, and Colin- Thank you for your service in the restaurants, coffee shop, and playing out on the water. A special thank you to Danielle who when she found out that my wife's dad was having a medical crisis back here in the states, was so kind as to take time out of her evening and talk with her and even give her a big hug. This truly helped my wife. To those in oversight- you truly have a staff worth treasuring. As many have pointed out, the resort has many opportunities to be as busy..... or lazy as you would like. We particularly enjoyed being able to leave the drapes open at night and wake up each morning to the warm sun coming into the room waking us up to hit the gym. Something we have definitely missed while dealing with a cold winter that has lasted since last October. We also enjoyed the opportunity to visit their sister resort about 5 minutes away but can tell you we prefer tower Isle. If you enjoy being out on the water, don't miss out on the catamaran cruise out into the bay at Ocho Rios, the snorkeling and sightseeing trips up and down the coast. The only distraction we encountered had to do with people in the next room. A couple days after we moved into our first room, people moved in next door who felt it was their right to sit on the balcony and smoke cigarettes and Marijuana.... continuously. SOOOO gross and against the laws as it is clearly stated in the room, If your that type of person who feels the need to dirty up everything around you because of this habit, just stay home. Thank you again to the front desk and housekeeping for making it possible for us to move to a different room. If possible, we will be back many times. Read less
